Ah nice! I’ll have to go back and run the instance a few times. It isn’t quite what I had in mind, as I like the chest piece as a shirt/waistcoat combo tucked into trousers, rather than a jerkin, but that would be a nice alternative outfit to have in the bank! Might be a nice casual hobbit combo...
I have to agree. How You managed to take that screenshot with the Dragon Firework exactly in that position is very well done. Even if it would be Photoshopped in after (which I don't know if it is or not), it would still be a very nice idea and well executed along with the theme of being a Dragonslayer. I like the atmosphere the lighting from the campfire in the screenshot creates as well. Well done indeed !!! :)
Was a 100% lucky shoot. I wanted to climb that little hill to take some photos (like the 3rd one) and suddently the dragon firework made his appearance! My only merit was being quick enough to press F12 -> "frame" a bit the pic -> press F11.
I rushed to my lotro pic-folder hoping that the pic looked as nice as i pictured in my mind...and it was (if not beyond ^^).
Sometimes i spend 5 minutes trying to capture something special just to get a mediocre pic. This time i was just a lucky photographer ^^
PD: Too much text. Posting a bonus pic (non 21:9 this time) to compensate :P (love the lighting on this one too)

For starters I will say i don't like the dragon gear for horses, at all, but the combination you have achieved is actually quite nice, not overwhelming the horse using a lighter caparison and kinda making the whole contraption look less bulky than it does on so many other steeds with default look. Thanks for the effort.
That's exactly what i was looking for! Thank you for your kind words :) As a lvl86 F2P who never spent a single LP on cosmetics, im kinda proud of myself :)
The whole outfit (char & war-steed) are inspired in the story of Fram, the fourth Lord of Éothéod who slain Scatha the Worm. That was my excuse to use some Rohirrim items on char and steed :P
Bonus pic from my current favourite Alt, a Guardian who thanks to event rewards, can look decent from early levels (full 12th aniversary cosmetics+Rift gear from Vault-Bosses, last summer event):

Lacking a close up, I could actually repeat some of my previous words with this look as well: "while I am no fan of seablue...yada yada" it looks very nice in this combo with mostly silver.
Would you mind posting a list of gear used for reference?
Thanks...
Seems we have a new talent for gear in town, pals...
Thanks for your words!! I guess im improving in both, taking pics and outfitting. My last post got 0 answers hehehehe
Closer look:

I appreciate your words but i consired myself as a noob compared with the big talents here. Just sometimes inspiration comes and Im happy to share and see how u like it. Thanks!
The gear of the guardian is so simple and easy to get!
Chest, shoulders and cloak: set of the storied warrior - default dye (12th anniversary cosmetic gear)
Gloves and boots: Reforged Rift-runner gear - washed "dye" (from Vault-Bosses instance tokens, Summer Event 2018)
Helm: Reforged Rift-Defender gear - washed "dye" (same, from Vault-Bosses instance tokens, Summer Event 2018)
I think (sometimes) is not necessary to dye the outfit to match a steed with it. If you can fit a nice combination of outfit steed, but maintaning some independence between them in terms of colours, the results are more natural, less "forced" if you know what I mean. I was tempted to dye the chest and/or cloack on sea blue or something like that, but I think it just works like it is :)
Another example of not-same colors, but nice combo (imho) steed-char. outfit:

PD: Sorry if my english is not that good, Im not native (obviously hehe) and I make a lot of mistakes, but I hope you can understand me at least ;)
Hey, neither am I.
I like the Seablue Character gear better than the other.
Its been a little while, allow me to repost a couple of images of my Main Champion... for a lot of people in here it may be a repeat but I like my outfit so forgive me.
Picture taken at my Kinship House with an Eorl Memorial.

Chestplate and Shoulders are barter items from Ithilien Rangers,
Helm is Enduring Wildermore Helm of Combat, Medium armour.
The rest is heavy Armour level 80.
Steeds caparison is the Heavy Norcrofts one you can buy in store, but with the Champion saddle. All my 100+ Man characters wear this with variations in colour, my Elf Hunter wears Norcrofts Armour in Gold, boots are awkward for that, looking for a replacement.
Bleh, couldn't resist an ambient shot...

Uff, those are stunning pics and outfits (both steed and char), congratz!! Plus the high-quality of the pics, and well-selected surroundings, makes the perfect combo. If its a repost, i personally dont care. This thread has too many pages now, and its impossible to remember any post so yeah, I think repost is legit ^^
Naaa, not too much text. I enjoy full explanations and small stories etc.
Anyway, I know exactly what You mean. I have taken maybe 40-50 screnshoots of the same location and character(s), just trying to get a nice one. It often is that some idle animation makes one character turn a bit, or move their hands, even blink etc and then that character looks good but the other don't etc. It's a nightmare trying to take a group picture of many characters. Then we have NPC's or even mobs coming walking into the picture or even attacking if not high enough level above them in an area. A real nightmare sometimes to get that picture You want. :)
Early in the Morning is fine time for Fishing! especially with a Fishing Creel at hand.

Lovely outfit and a cute hobbit lady. :)
Just a small thing that I might change. Maybe change the trousers. the black belt from trousers doesn't fit the leathery runed bands/belts on tunic. I prefer to use westment light trousers (lvl 90 craft) it has leathery runed belt too, but dyes less good, so it is a bit hard to find a mathing color with tunic.

Very nice Yolli, love it!
I have to agree. I am really amazed how inventive people are or artistc in finding ways to take screenshots, the background, how for example Yolli, being a burglar type of character, uses the opening of a chest in the screenshot etc. Some really cool ideas I see in here very often for poses and backgrounds and not only the outfits themselves.
Aurthiel's winter outfit!
I wanted to dye the Yule Hoodless Cloak red so bad thanks to that one hobbit in Winter Home! So this entire outfit has a red color scheme.
I often feel like the winter hats still don't cover enough to keep the nose warm xD Considering that I grew up next to a lake with the lake effect, I have high standards. Plus, thanks to crossing Helcaraxe, Aurthiel loathes cold weather. xD Then, I remembered that a certain Ranger headpiece exists!
For anyone wondering, I photo shot in Thorin's Hall. The elf looking place is that one area the elves set up shop in the elf-and-dwarf intro.
