If by 'right away' you mean today? Then no, there has never been anything stated like that.
If by 'right away' you mean on the day RoI goes live then I have not seen anything, but I would assume right now that it will be available for purchase in the store the day RoI goes live or within a week of being released. Business sense tells us that it will be available for TP after the pre-order for cash expires.
Re: Feedback: THE LORD OF THE RINGS ONLINE™: RISE OF ISENGARD™ Announcement
Well in general i'm excited to get a head start on Isengard, especially 25% to level my lower toons, but of course there just has to be something that goes wrong when I buy my pack. I really can't understand how today computors are made so simple that even oldies (like myself) can learn to work with them, but when it comes to this purchase, well I almost put the whole thing aside, was so mixed up and hard to understand. Once I get it all completed, well I have to try to do my husband's purchase, cause he didn't get anywhere either. So once again, the fun of untangling the whole thing to be able to get to the end was a nightmare.
I'm really glad I'm a lifetimer, that way I'm sure I won't have to deal with paying Turbine too often.
Please, if possible, eliminate the third party process and make it simple to purchase these packs.
The end of the story is, I'm glad i have the pack, but don't want to start that process over for another long while :)
Re: Feedback: THE LORD OF THE RINGS ONLINE™: RISE OF ISENGARD™ Announcement
I am sort of surprised they didnt try to really put a wrench in the works and make using "Bonus: Subscriber Bonus" invalid for buying expansions. So that you could only use Game grant points or whatever theyre called if you buy them. But I doubt they could prioritize what ones got spent first so people would complain that they were spending 'earned' ones before 'free ones'.
As it is I dint have any complaints. I wont get any pre order stuff but who cares? I didnt get any Mirkwood stuff either.
If turbine REALLY wanted to make money from lifetime people who get free points they would put more things in the game worth spending points on or maybe have more than enough pay for use content than they can save up points for . But as it is right now there just arent any. If they put out a bunch of really good store items right after this expansion goes live people (lifers) would more than likely throw a few bucks at it. I assume many will go on shopping sprees anyway once they figure out the price of RoI in TP. Since most of us have over 10K worth then I am sure even with a 'gouged' price of say 4000 TP we will still have upwards of 8K left (by then). And since we can expect the next paid content to be over a year away that give plenty of time to recoup those points at 500 per month.
Re: Feedback: THE LORD OF THE RINGS ONLINE™: RISE OF ISENGARD™ Announcement
I've got a lifetime sub and did not feel the higher prices of the the heroic/legendary packages was justified. I have enough horses and cosmetic clothing ... come on, there's a difference of $10 dollars between the base edition and the heroic for the choice of your horse/armor's COLOR (and 1000 Turbine points, which I have enough of)?
Everybody must decide himself, what some pixels are worth and for certain pixels, I'd probably spend 10 or 20 dollars more ... but in this case - no, thanks (as I said, I have enough horses and they will even get more with coming festivals ... and I hardly know where to put my cosmetic stuff at the moment for want of space).
If you had offered a special kinship house in Edoras for 20 dollars more ... I'd have bought that without hesitation.
Re: Feedback: THE LORD OF THE RINGS ONLINE™: RISE OF ISENGARD™ Announcement
My only question is if haven't been asked before, is Misty Mountains part of the path of fellowship quest pack? didn't see it listed.
Re: Feedback: THE LORD OF THE RINGS ONLINE™: RISE OF ISENGARD™ Announcement
It's just not just part of the pack as Redhorn Pass is actually further south than the Misty Mountains zone. It's in the Eregion zone.

Always impresses me when an award is granted months before the product is released such as:

that said, a new zone is nothing to turn your nose at and if (as I suspect) PvP will require some sort of payment from F2P and Premium you can be sure it'll get more attention from Turbine, I don't know how much more, but more.
see, no flames. whatever happens, I do hope you end up having fun, here or elsewhere.
I don't want creeps to be able to level, the current format for MP is fine for me. I don't want to invade the precious Shire or anything like that. I don't expect them to spend a large sum of money either but.......I find it extremely hard to believe that adding one new zone for PvMP is going to drastically effect the quality of the game for non-PvMP players or put a stretch on the budget. It was nothing more than a ploy to keep the PvMPer's in the game for a just a while longer until the influx of F2P PvMPer's make the requests and wants of the pre F2P moors players irrelevent(all speculation on my part).

I would go further than that and say that Turbines conduct so far towards PvMP and not making a new PvP area in the expansion is a clear indicator that they are waiting to see how introducing PvMP to F2P will work out. If monster play becomes a success (which it will IMO) with F2P the moors will rapidly become very small.
Therefor you can expect a major revamp in the first quarter of 2012, with a new region, better gear (no more lazy helegrod set coloring), and who knows what else.

My question exactly. When I click on the links in the ad, the form asks me to fill out a lot of information and set-up passwords, etc. What is that for? Why can't I enter my existing account information?
