I await the 5-6k EC crits that are coming every fight (being reduced from 8-9k that are coming rarely due to with audacity)
You also forgot the 5min CD skill that allows for a rk to go from full healing to full damage attunment (or vice-versa) instantly! (I'll let you dwell on the possibilities of a rk stacking hots followed by 6k EC's immediately due to the switch + auto crit, or the bubbles coming instantly after an rk has been zapping away all fight!)

Thanks for the fights last night Jkgorn, appreciate the lack of bubbles, gut punch crit made a huge difference.
Don't think they'll be able to go from full heal to big EC, still need the buffs. Full dps to full heal though? Sure. Still not as bad as minstrels though.

On Bullroarer, I've had several tastes of this new breed of warg...:eek: It's not very nice!
./shudder Wargs are very nasty now. I got the drop on a couple, and was dirt napped effortlessly by them. My toon copied over 100%, and I even tried with the full (new) pvp set. No excuses; I was mauled!
The Rk changes aren't bad (not great either), but there are several bugs/broken mechanics; however, none of which I can attribute to my demise.
If ever a FotM will be played, it will be U6 wargs. I'll say it now before the freep QQing begins: Wargs are not OP, but they are certainly a step above par in U6. And remember, you heard the growling from Pureblood first. He may have some rank/skills to get, but it won't be forever. I expect to see some absent wargs come back for this one; warg>rk this time around, no doubts. (Of course these were ramped up creeps, decked with all the toys etc. Not sure anything save a few in live are close to what I fought)
(I continued to eat up WLs, Defs, Spiders and Reavers...the ones I found solo anyway)

I watched a RK heal himself while taking an onslaught from 2 r15 Wargs for almost 5 mins straight... he never went below half health or power... morale was 8k'ish and power 7k'ish.
Granted, he didn't try to dps but he was pretty much invincible against those 2 Wargs, who eventually ran outta power.
So 2 wargs couldn't take out one RK?
Topple:
Knocks your target to the ground for a long duration.
Throat Rip and Muscle Tear:
While in Shadow Stance or no stance, Throat Rip will function as it had previously; silencing your target for a long duration.
Changes to Snap:
In Flayer Stance or no stance, Snap will do the following:
Reduce melee, ranged, and tactical damage on the target.
On critical: disarm the target for a short duration.
In Shadow Stance, it will become Snap! The major difference is instead of disarming the target; it will silence them for 5 seconds.
Claws Changes:
Chance to activate Brute Bonus:
Places a wound on the target that will interrupt inductions every few seconds for duration of effect
Maul Changes:
Chance to activate Brute Bonus:
Reduces incoming healing.
Dire Howl Changes:
No Stance: Dire Howl
Silences multiple targets
Shadow Stance: Howl from the Shadow
Silences even more targets than Dire Howl
Changes to Eye Rake:
Shadow Stance: Eye Gouge
Deals good damage
Increased damage from behind
Interrupts inductions

I'll say it again... 2 r15 Wargs w/ Audacity maxed @ r7 COULD NOT get this RK below half health or power... let alone kill him.
Both Wargs purposely traited enhanced rabid bite for the +40% power cost and still didn't get him below half power before they eventually ran outta power... watched it happen multiple times right in front of Grams.
Yeah you are right, I also misinterpreted the auto crit thing, its only auto-crit for essence of storm (3-4k) rather than for any skill.
@Blae, did you happen to fight wargs in shadow stance as well? And how updated was your gear compared to the live servers in terms of audacity and new jewellery?
I'm really curious about the efficacy of shadow stance for fighting tact/ranged freeps.

Personally think Spiders will be more of a threat then wargs. Also NO other class freep or creep has or will prove to be more FOTM worthy then the minstrels we see today.

Damn Houndini. Cmalberg tried to use Wall of Steel on Houndini but he evaded the attempt x2. That was about as close as it gets. Fun stuff!

I had the full pvp with +7 audacity. Hmm, as for gear, not sure how far below the new par i am as i have none of the new gear, but it wasn't a marginal victory for the warg. It was very definitive.
Also, I was out to dps, not heal. With the changes to healing, I have no probs believing an rk can out heal two wargs. It's not that they do tremendous damage, its that they can do very good dps while taking a beating.
Not sure if the 2 r15 wargs knew what they were doing, but between silence, cjs, and knockdowns etc, i find it hard to believe they couldn't make a dent. However, as i haven't tried the new healing setup, im not sure how well (down time) healing works. SO, its plausible that 2 wargs could have a hard time. After all, the healing changes seem so pro.
If the gear curb has changed, then by all means, get the gear then worry about the challenge.
