So, what was the thinking in increasing the range? 25 meters seems pretty extreme
Just made test of ./Say FIX on Bullroarer! Seems it works well in usual situation.
Surely need to be tested more... but the first try sounds good.
We did not expect for a better range but if it's the way to fix the ./say bug, so the new range is almost same as music one. That's not so bad, except maybe for RPyers whose not like music events.
Thank you very much to Standing Stone to have fix this inconspicuous bug.
This fix is a grand thing for daily social ingame communication and for any big public event to lead.
Big hugs to you all to support and testimony about this insidious and very annoying bug.

Oh, is the extra /say range wider for NPC say too? Because that might be a bit annoying during some very chatty festivals :o
I don't think NPC are related to .say channel.
With the plugin Babble, we can mute people in the .say channel, except NPC :/
But I don't know more about that.

It is indeed nice that this is being looked into ... but I will say also about time.
I think the 25 meter range was already a too long distance for player music, so a 25 meter range for says may be a tad too much in some situations.
I would also like to point out that it would be absolutely great if there was an option to toggle the npc say chat without having to turn the player says off.
Just wanted to give the entire team a huge thanks for fixing the dreaded /say bug. It means so very much to us!!!!!
THANK YOU!!!! I took my time to say thanks until I had observed /say working in several situations--and it does :D.
Greatly appreciated.
