Well I imagine it wood take a rather long time, perhaps until next Septimber. Wake me up when it ends.
An Ent-led auction would obviously take an eternity to end... But also, maybe not exist in the first place as they have no need for money and little awareness of the idea of economy.
It depends on how many folks want to bid on the "Rock and Stone" used in the downfall of Orthanc. Autographed by the Ents involved in the battle!

It would take 'entever' as everyone knows can't be calculated in linear time that we use.

Nobody knows except the ents, but it takes them longer than an elf-life to explain how long it takes.

How long is (ent) moot.
Nothing gets auctioned in old Entish unless it is worth taking a long time to pay.
Well now, that depends. Is everyone involved an Ent, or is an Ent being sold in auction? Because the former would last indefinitely, but the latter would likely be pretty short once the Ent understood the situation well enough to forcefully object.
