I can clearly see the issue here and why they've been avoided so far as normal 'unlimited' furniture, but it still kind of bothers me we can't have *actual* objects emitting light like they are in game, even if just in lightning hooks only - and as of now only have lightning effect that can't really be 'matched' with any real fiery object that we have available. But then again, creating a bonfire or torch as "furniture" with animated fire but not associated lightning attached, so then I can match with invisible sources o light from lightning hooks and may not always reach the same effect that in-game assets use (because it's invisible! it's hard to move those lights and figure out where they should go) seems like a needless back-and-forth, better to just slot a lighted brazier into a lighting hook if that could be done

Some friends of mine that own Rohan houses, found a workaround to the disembodied light sources. They use the slots sliders to move those lights closer to objects that are expected to illuminate. I like the idea that the that some of the existing house items that are usable on light slot only, receive a object added to them. That way they will not be disembodied anymore & could add a cosmetic value that makes the room feel less empty. Or maybe can be the other way around, make the furniture items that emit light be able to use on the light slots.

That's exactly what I meant except they would need to actually add cool, bigger sources of light furniture items which are already lighted (bonfires, torches, braziers) since Scenario specifically referred to why they were avoiding having those as decoration items in the first place. So they would need to create those first from game assets and make them slotable in the light slots. I would like my home illuminated by actual fiery torches or braziers.

Honestly, it would be nice just to change the color in the standard houses. I find the Bree houses much too yellow/warm for my liking, and since the fireplace is so far away (wish we could remove it) it makes the front part of the house dark :(

Also, I think a really nice idea could be a lawn slot- rather than having flat grass, we could slot various grass/foliage from different regions. Like the beautiful blue and white flowers in North Ithilien, or the red, white and pink flowers in Evendim, etc. There's really pretty fields of all white flowers waving in the wind around Bree, too. Just a thought :)

I did made a thread a bit ago suggesting to consolidate that wall colour & floor colour slots into a single category, the Surface Colour. Also suggested to have surface colours slots added to the outdoor walls of house. & lets not forget to be able to customize floor textures outdoors as well.

This post is to request the already existing house paint colours of walls to be used be consolidated to be usable on indoors floors, indoors walls & a create a new slot kind for outdoors walls (Lillira, thanks for the suggestion). It will remove the need to have more than 1 item kinds per each colour.

There are some times that i set some crafted colours, specially the light tones. While the recently added colorful carpets are fun, i'm not a carpet person, i always prefer tiles. No matter how hard i try to match the floor, i can't find any dyeable floor tile texture that don't clash cause i can't achieve the tones i want with the existing paints. So here is my request, add to the game house item floor paint on those same light crafted colours as well:

• Pea Green Wall & Floor Paint
• Soft Yellow Wall & Floor Paint
• Light Orange Wall & Floor Paint
• Pink Wall & Floor Paint
• Lavender Wall & Floor Paint

The other part of this request may have being suggested before by other players since years ago. I feel the need to bring it back to the attention after Erebor housing area creation. I like turquoise color but all the area is turquoise & it surprised me that suddenly i started to hate that colour. Others friends told me they got the same odd feeling. It will be much better if each player could choose what colour their building will be. The idea is simple. It do not require to change anyhow the texture or shape of the player owned house walls. Just simply want to be able to customize the outdoors walls colors. This doesn't require the creation of a new house decoration item. Just enable the already existing indoors paints to be usable on the outer walls & add the required slot outside the house. Wouldn't you think that more colour variations will be prettier? I do!

On a slightly related note. I love the new Erebor house looks, but i think the yards are missing something. Please add to the yards the option to change the tiles texture. That way the players that like to have some ''artificial grass'' at their cave yards can use textures like the varied Rohan Grasses, the Felegoth Beech Floor, or just some natural looking pebbles or dirt that looks like something may grow there.

We know there is the taxidermy item Saruman's Orrery already in the game. But one needs a very rare drop from a lvl 75 raid to get it. In 9 yrs of playing I only know of 2 people who got it. So having a barter item would be very welcomed!

Yeah I'd say since this item is obtainable only via a very rare RNG device has nothing to do with "earning" raid exclusives and is really just a stroke of luck --- they should provide another path to obtaining the orrery and other such items that are that rare because they are RNG-based, again, having nothing to do with raid skill or anything of the sort.

That will be nice new items to add to the festival barterers of the corresponding seasons. Meanwhile those festival wallpapers are similar in texture to others found at the house furnishers but without the festive details. The house furnisher ones can be good placeholders. ;)

We are not missing those, you just have to wait for the Festivals to start in order to get those! ;)

Farmers Faire is coming, and with it you'll have the associated decorative walls. Same with Yule at the end of the year. I even know some people who already have some of the Yule ones because they opened a few gift boxes a few month after the festival ;)

Oh! They are inside the bartered racial gift boxes? Interesting... but i will have hoped for barterer ones. Do you know by chance if the are unbound or bound to account? At least if they are unbound can be shared with friends & kinmates. I know a friend that really wanted 2 Men's Yule small decorative wall. :D

But honestly, racial gift boxes are quite easy to get so that shouldn't be an issue.
