I'm a long time returning player looking for a good/friendly kinship to keep me company while I level up my 2 characters and eventually do raiding/skirmises in the endgame. Right now I have a lvl 66 champion + lvl 51 loremaster, names are Shazamo and Thorpi.
I play a good 10-20 hrs a week, sometimes I might not play for a week because of work but I try to stay pretty consistent. Im looking for a bigger builder if possible so i can eventually purchase a house in a neighborhood, move in and just be social while I play.
I'm looking for a Raiding Kinship. I've done some raiding in the past I'm still missing my head and shoulders for mt Moria set =S Always lost the roll for the tokens.
IGN: Ryvorn, 64 Warden wanna be Tank
Interests: Raiding PvMP
Playstyle: Social Explorer / Deed grinder (I'm a completionist)
I sometimes have a pretty busy schedule that keeps me from being able to dedicate certain times to gaming so I mostly play on weekends but I do occasionally get some game time in during the week. I'm a social person so a Kin with active members is good, maybe a vent/ts server because I'll be honest I don't always pay attention to the chat window when I'm doing my slayer deeds.
Eastern Time
Mon-Fri: 7pm-11pm
Sat-Sun: 5am-12am? (I don't really sleep, I just rest my eyes for a period of time =P)
Anywho, spam me up or msg me or something.
Be generous, adopt a baby Warden. We only bite when we grow up. Teeth are just an extra weapon in our arsenal.
A kin with a pro Warden to train me up is a bonus :)
- Ingame Name, Race, Class, and Current Level
Rendariel, Elf, Hunter, 63
- If you are considering roleplaying, raiding, and/or player versus player combat
RP'ing, preferrably heavy. I'm not a raider or PvP person.
- How many hours a week do you play?
Variable. Sometimes 5, sometimes 55.
- Playstyle (explorer, grind-heavy, soloer, etc)
I like exploring, but I end up doing a lot of it solo, because there's never anyone on that I know/am in a Kinship with.
- Various other information a kinship may find useful
Anything else that is needed, don't hesitate to ask.
- Optional - RL information such as Age, Time Zone, etc.
Mountain time (GMT -7) zone, but my play time is more akin to Euro prime time, due to working the zombie shift (overnight).
- Ingame Name, Race, Class, and Current Level: Bohere, Man, Champ, 25
- If you are considering roleplaying, raiding, and/or player versus player combat: Interested in roleplaying, the others perhaps when I get there.
- How many hours a week do you play?: It varies, but I'd say around 10-20
- Playstyle (explorer, grind-heavy, soloer, etc): I like exploring, but what I really want to do is content on-level with a group - I don't really want to solo my way to 75 just to be able to do group content.
- Optional - RL information such as Age, Time Zone, etc.: I'm 20-years-old, attending college on the west coast. My hours of play vary greatly, though many of them tend to be quite late at night which happens to be after prime-time for EST.
Hey all, I'm fairly new to Lotro. What I'm really looking for is a fun, friendly kin with members (or alts) in the lower level ranges to do content with. If the kin is medium RP or roleplay encouraged, that'd be even better. I'm really enjoying the game so far, but having a kin to group and RP some with (outside of the Pony) would make the experience even better.
- Ingame Name, Race, Class, and Current Level
LinaLeandersson, Dwarf, Guardian, 75
AnaTorrent, Elf, Hunter, 47
- If you are considering roleplaying, raiding, and/or player versus player combat
I would like to raid and would try out PVP.
- How many hours a week do you play?
Dependent on how much I work. 20+
- Various other information a kinship may find useful
I work nights, so I'm on in the early morning till about noon (7:30 AM - 12:00 PM Eastern) on days I work and middle of the night till about noon (3:00 AM - 12:00 AM Eastern) on days I'm off. I can be on at night around 9 PM some days, will be on earlier once school ends in May. Mainly looking for a kin to raid.
High-level, experienced player looking for medium-size, friendly, & casual kinship.:D
In-game Name, Race, Class, and Current Level
- Mains: Lilythym (75 Guardian), Lilybella (75 Minstrel), Lilyhawk (70ish hunter)
- Alts: Sassyboofs (75 Captain), Daisytart (baby Hunter)
If you are considering roleplaying, raiding, and/or player versus player combat
- Not a fan of role-playing or PVP. I have completed several raids, but prefer smaller group runs. I like to keep my high-level characters playable, but don't heavily grind to have the latest-and-greatest gear.
How many hours a week do you play?
- 30+
Playstyle (explorer, grind-heavy, soloer, etc)
- I mainly solo, although that has started to change since I'm on a more active server.
Various other information a kinship may find useful
- I've played since open beta and have 4+ years of in-game experience on almost all instances. I’m perfectly happy to provide help to others
- Looking for a medium-size kinship with daytime players (I play quite a bit during the day)
- Real life must be more important than a game (no mandatory meetings, "punishments," etc). While I’m interested in aninvolved, active kin, I also appreciate freedom. However, I'm more than happy to participate and help others.
- My hubby-unit has also been a LOTRO player for several years. We have a kinship with our vault-alts solely to support our hoarding habits.
Optional - RL information such as Age, Time Zone, etc.
- I'm a retired military veteran so play times vary. I play quite a bit during the day and sometimes in the evenings depending on real life.
- I have a sense humor and like to be friendly and social.
- Recently moved to the Landroval server which I've found to be MUCH more active.
See our advertisement in this kin section. The Lonely Mountain Band is always open for recruitment. Our main preferences for prospective members are a cheerful attitude, team spirit, clean chat, and friendliness. we are one of the most active kinships on this server.

Looking for a mature, raiding kin.
In-game Name, Race, Class, and Current Level
Mains: Gaelrim, 75 Captain
If you are considering roleplaying, raiding, and/or player versus player combat
I have just started working towards preparing for end-game raids. I have 4/6 on the Galtrev set and am ready for Draigoch, and maybe Isengard. Would love to find a kin which runs these sorts of things.
How many hours a week do you play?
30+
Playstyle (explorer, grind-heavy, soloer, etc)
On my last server, I had to solo a lot, part of the reason I switched to Landroval. I enjoy grouping, skirm-raids and raids. I spent one day in the moors and liked it, so if I had a group for that I'd go back.
Various other information a kinship may find useful
I played in SoA/MoM on a different account and came back with RoI so I have experience in the game.
Looking for an active kin which has members playing in the evening EST.
Real life must be more important than a game (no mandatory meetings, "punishments," etc).
I'm 26, but prefer the company of people in their 30s-40s than people in the teens-20s.
I am going to start up an alt on this server and would love a kin that has people playing lower leveled alts.
Optional - RL information such as Age, Time Zone, etc.
I'm a professional so barring days off, I usually play during the evenings. I play sometimes on Saturdays, but since I'm semi-working I don't do real material, and grind deeds usually.
Recently moved to the Landroval server which I've found to be MUCH more active.
Silyriel, level 8 elf warden female
I'd like a kin that can maybe introduce me to some light rp, I've never done so in a game before, but I'd also like a kin that is available to group for quests/instances and is willing to share game advice and crafting.
A few hours a night, as I have time.
I like to group but I'll also solo. I focus more on leveling than completion-grinding.
I'm a (soon to be) 21 year old college student, shifting over to Landroval from the 'Mark for the in-game events and to try out some rp. On Ridder I have a 75 and was an officer in a kinship for a long while. I'm in the US central time zone and on most evenings.
I just came back after a few month break and im looking for friendly and active kin.
My lvl 30 Hobbit Ministrel is a little bit sad to explore Middle Earth on his own with noone around to enjoy good meals together after a long day of hard work.
RP/Raiding is what im looking for.
Prefered gaming time is CET/GMT and im a quite active player.
Hello, all! I am looking for an active, social kin, with a bit of RP, perhaps. RP-wise, my character is a bard of the Lossoth. I'm currently doing my best to flesh out her bio within the limited lore of the Lossoth.
- In-Game Name: Loviisa
- Race: Human
- Class: Minstrel
- Level: 29 at the time of this post.
- Interested in all aspects of LotRO. I am a dedicated healer in groups, although dedicated raiding is tricky for me.
- I play for several hours almost every single day.
- I'm a heavy soloer as well as a dedicated healer and RPer.
- I'm 17 in real life, female, on the East Cost.
- RP is not a big deal for me. I can find it on my own. I'd prefer a talkative social kin over a quiet RP kin. :)
Feel free to send me a mail in-game or on the forums! :)
-Loviisa of the Lossoth
Have come back after a break and am currently looking for a Kin for my elf champ.
-Name: Sylief, Champion, 42(as of this post)
-Interested in all aspects, I'd consider myself a med-rper, have had experience in group/raiding in multiple MMO's/MUDs, and would eventually like to do the Moors.
-My play time is currently unrestricted, self-employed. On Pacific time, from WA.
-Don't really know how to define my playstyle, I suppose at these levels I'm a soloer and been working a bit on my deeds for TP, would like to experience some instances though
-additional info: Currently have all quest packs except North Downs, Misty Mountains, Enedwaith, and Great River unlocked. I still need to unlock Skirmishes though, which are next on my list. Halls of Night and Inn of the Forsaken are the only instances that show up as left to buy on the LotRO store as well.
Also, I'm an Armsman for my crafting profession, currently at Master Level with Smithing and Prospector. For RP purposes Sylief's an Elf of Mirkwood, and a soldier in Thranduil's employ. He's a veteran of the Battle of Five Armies and was born in the early to mid third age. I don't speak any of Tolkein's languages though, but hey if someone is willing to start teaching me the differing elven languages, I'd not turn down the knowledge. That said though I'd like a sociable Kin, that doesn't mind breaking OOC, or has a separate OOC and RP channel.
Barnworth, a level 30 man champion is looking for a kinship.
I have level-capped characters on another server but am looking for a fresh start here.
I am looking for a kinship that understands and works well with those who have families and are time-limited.
I usually get a couple of nights a week to play and I enjoy questing, crafting, and socializing and would just like some people to chat with and play with while I'm on.
I have done a good bit of raiding on my other server and would like to do that once I reach that content on Landroval.
I just realized every sentence starts with "I" and I'm sorry about making this post all about me :)
Please send me a mail in game if you believe you have what I'm looking for.
Set you a PM, Billy. Sounds like Remnant would be a good fit for you.
Hi! I play a character named Saelveleth, a level 60+ minstrel. (level changes fast as it can.)
This is actually a group post, as there are three of us that have played together for a long time and are looking for a home. With me is a 20+ Loremaster named Vithres, and a 60+ hunter named Taurglir.
We are looking for a role-playing kinship, preferably medium to heavy with a focus on lore. We're firm believers in the rules of plausibility in role play and so long as something makes moderate sense, we're happy to go along with it. We enjoy lore to be adhered to, as much as possible, but we're not quite Tolkien Bible thumpers either. Everything in moderation. :P We're also hoping to find a kin that, along with role play, enjoys casual grouping and dungeons. While our main focus is role play, we really would like to see the end game content, at least to a point.
We're not much for huge dramatic fights, and sometimes prefer smaller group settings as far as role play goes, because once there are too many in a setting, you end up more of a spectator than an active participant. As an example, we would not fit well in a kin that predominantly sat around in the Pony, because it wouldn't take long before we'd lose track of most of what was said. That isn't to say we don't enjoy playing with large groups occasionally, but we've found that *all* the time restricts role play.
We play often some weeks and not so often others, depending on work, school and family. Our time is central time, but we would endeavor to show up for any event possible on time. We're all in our mid 20's and are looking for a mature, laid back group of people to just spend time with and play as many aspects of the game as possible. I know this has been an oddly specific post, but having played together a long time, it seems better to be up front with expectations.
We would love any suggestions as far as kins, and are happy to give anything a try! I'll quit blathering now and keep my fingers crossed that someone might want to adopt three homeless elves. :)
Sae
Hostalin - lvl 19 Minstrel
Is a bard from Erebor, idolizes Thorin Oakenshield from all the songs he sings about him.
Looking for a medium/heavy RP kin with lore. I would like a kin that hosts a lot of events to participate and is in character almost always. I like random RP. I like to take my time while questing, explore a little bit, do low level quests, enjoy middle earth. Grouping is fun, though I rarely do it. I rarely do any instances, I find them monotonous and boring. Feel free to send me a message whenever, the kin I am currently in is not what I'm looking for. Thanks!
Good morning all:
I've recently returned to LOTRO after a fairly prolonged hiatus and have decided to settle on Landroval. I originally played on Gladden with some peers from a gaming community but they're no longer actively playing; following that I switched over to Elendilmir but the concept of an RP-encouraged server has become quite appealing to me as they generally tend to have greater aggregate maturity.
During my break from LOTRO I experimented with several MMOs but I've always been drawn to return here -- I love Tolkien's works and Turbine has done an excellent job of translating them into a fantastic story-driven experience with a a well realized world and robust lore.
The Details...
Your name, or character name and race (if known): Samrad, Race of Man, Minstrel (level 20)
Age: 20-30.
Location: Canada.
Playstyle: I find it difficult to attach a singular label to my playstyle. I work towards completing all content that a game has to offer, and I always strive to excel at whatever I'm doing -- I suppose I'm a hybrid completionist/perfectionist, heh.
Why kinships should be interested in you: I'm an avid fan of Tolkien's works and I'm here for more than a simple MMO-fix; I've got a wealth of experience from more than a decade of gaming; I'm a mature, responsible and dedicated individual who consistently puts forth 100% effort; I can snap into serious-business-mode when necessary but I'm more than happy to kick back, relax and do some clowning.
What kind of kinship you are looking for: Any kinship that's congruent with what I've posted above. I'm looking for a solid group of like-minded players with whom I can level, experience end-game content, take the piss and generally have a fantastic time. While I always strive to play lore-friendly characters and would enjoy the opportunity to RP at times, I'm not looking for a strictly RP kinship.
Cheers!
Hail Keystrokes. I sent you a PM, so take a look at your mail. You are another for whom Remnant is probably a good fit. :)Quote:

Good Afternoon All,
I'm an avid gamer who recently stumbled onto LOTRO and as such, I know nobody. Yes yes, Sad Panda.
I have played other mmos (mostly WOW) at all levels ranging from: Super-casual-Lollipop-Fun-time all the way to Hardcore-Theorycrafting-Raider-Pants, with a dash of high end PVP play. Yet I have no experienced RPing (Which looks Really Fun) and I miss the days of discovery and just having fun, Enter LOTRO.
As far as my Knowledge on lore, I have read most of Tolkien's works multiple times, and judging from what I've seen so far, Turbine doesn't touch the Simarillion. So I guess I'm not super Lore-knowledgeable to the point of Lore-Hound, but I could probably hold my own.
As for my personal life: I'm a successful 25-year-old Starving Artist trying to fight the uphill battle of Higher Education to a brighter future with my two (!!!) useless degrees of Music and Sociology; while still reaching for my far-fetched dream of being a rock-star and having to do nothing but play shows, go on tour and play LOTRO.
Look at me now, Rambling like a madman who just stabbed his foot with his toothbrush Shank...
Anywho, I'm looking for a Causal, light-RP kinship that dabbles in various areas of the game, maybe eventually trying the endgame raids. I want to learn how to RP (I already know some of the basics just by sitting and observing in the prancing pony) and I am looking for a good group of like-minded players to roam the wilderness with; or just chill with.
The Stuff I Should've Maybe Started Out With But Didn't:
Character: Wror
Level 17 Dwarf Champion
Playstyle: Any and All. Primarily questing at the moment, learning the game. Planning on Engaging in Light to Medium RP, as well as hopefully Raiding and PvMP.
Availability: If you managed to trudge through my awfully incoherent introduction you'll probably remember me saying something about being a student and a rock-star. Well because of these constraints I have a wildly varying schedule. One week I could be on an unhealthy amount and the next two weeks I could scarcely Log-in. I do enjoy getting online at least a couple of hours each week. And I'm terribly addicted to forums, call me Ishlurk. (sorry, that was lame, +2pts if you get it)
Age: 25
Location: Colorado, United States of America (mst)
Happy Trails!
Hello!
I'm not a newbie, but I recently rolled a new alt so I could expand my horizons with a new group of players. I have two other characters (a 64 Captain and 63 Champion), and am a member of a kinship with them; however, the kinship is very small, and I've been doing more solo questing than group playing lately. I'd like to connect with another group of mature, friendly people who are as nuts about this game as I am. A small to medium-sized kin would be great. I like to be able to get to know people. :)
- Ingame Name, Race, Class, and Current Level
Elthafien, Elf, Minstrel, 15
- If you are considering roleplaying, raiding, and/or player versus player combat
Light RP would be ok, although it's something I haven't done yet. I've never done PvP but I won't rule it out if I have a good group to PvP with. I'd also like to get into raids, as I'd rather not join a raid entirely made of strangers for my first one. I probably won't ever be an extremely hard-core raider though.
- How many hours a week do you play?
About 12-15, I'm free most nights.
- Playstyle (explorer, grind-heavy, soloer, etc)
I love it all. I like taking my time, doing deeds, collecting mounts, crafting, etc. I've done a good amount of 6-person instances and small fellowship quests, so I know a bit about group play. However, I spend most of my time doing solo quests.
- Various other information a kinship may find useful
To sum up, I'd like to find a casual, friendly, and fun group of people to quest, raid, and just hang out with in-game.
- Optional - RL information such as Age, Time Zone, etc.
I'm 34, located in the EST, and am available to play most nights, except Thursdays (as that's gaming night with my other alts), and a couple hours here and there on the weekends.
Please pm me with any questions! I look forward to hearing from you. :)
