 Sweet gods, the Helm of Rohan!
You have a post count of one and the Helm of Rohan? Please tell me you've had that for ages and just never posted on the forums.
If not, please tell me how you got that. I've been looking for it for my Guardian for nearly three years and had nearly given up hope.
I have had the helm for some time. Prob. 2 years. I got it from the 25 token moors chest. Good Luck.
I've pieced this Elven masterpiece pre-moria and I can't seem to top it or put the effort to find new and unique updates since. First time post and love to know I'm not the only one who knows that Turbine has something special with the cosmetics effort they put in the game.
Enjoy. Asori. Minstrel of Song. Landroval.

he means that the helm is random loot you get from the moors chest. to get access to the chest, you need 25 tokens of valour (acquired through completing quests in the moors). keep in mind that it is not guaranteed that you will get the helm though. in fact is very likely that you will NOT get it. it may not even still be in the loot table. personally, i havent seen one from a chest in well over a year.
Hmmm.. I think I'm going to farm Fornost when F2P comes alive (will it be divided like the others?). I think someone said that there was the best place to farm...
From what I understand, come F2P if a Minnie adds said shoulders to their Wardrobe, any of their toons can use them as a cosmetic (so long as they can wear light armor), so it is possible to wear them without a Mins but you need a Mins to actually get the item in the wardrobe, for which there is no alternative.
Lets not forget that my understanding is that the wardobe operates like shared storage, in that, you have to be a toon on the same server as your mini.
Here are the 2 outfits for my Dwarf Guardian.
The first is the "kingly" outfit that I wear in Dwarfish or Elven areas:

The second are my "travelling" clothes that I use when visiting Bree or the Shire:

Special thanks to my wonderful Kin crafters for the dyes that make these outfits come to life.
I'm salivating at many of these great outfits! So many pieces to put on my wishlist. It is amazing how many unique looks are possible, and how many people have made some really creative ones.
I have a new one of my own to add to the thread. It's kind of the opposite of my black wash day dress witchy outfit. It's a white themed travelling outfit. And before I get fussed at, yes she's wearing boots. But it's because it's what she'll be wearing in colder climates. Even Hobbits can get cold feetsies! ;)

Sun Hat - Summer Festival
Seaton's Robes - Quested
Finely Stiched Backpack - Tailored
Bregdail (boots) - Quested
I'm sure once the servers come up and I have store access, a number of my favourite outfits are going to change. Before that happens, here's a couple more of my currents likes.
http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n...toneHewers.jpg
This first one is Kyohei, my Landroval loremaster, in her burgundy-dyed stone-hewer's robe and finely stitched backpack. She's already trying to talk me into getting her a dragonfly cloak from the store after spotting it earlier in this thread. I will likely cave in unless it's at a silly price.

This second shot is my minstrel on Landroval, Elalhael. He's normally a bit of a peacock (every time I play him I keep imagining words for a song titled "Meterosexual Elf", to be sung to the tune of The Odds' "Heterosexual Man") but in this case I was looking over skirmish cosmetics and El suddenly decided he needed to be able to blend into the forest and do the invisible man bit. Several days of skirmishing later he has brushed leather boots, a well-worn robe (or is it the comfortable one... I'm blanking now and can't double-check in game, obviously enough), and the make-shift ranger's helm.
New armour outfit for my captain. I used to have it all dyed black but then I thought, "... I'm the White Captain, I dress in white!" so I dyed it all white :D

My new outfit to blend in better with the Grey Company on our ride south to Rohan:

Traveller's Hood from the store (dyed sienna)
Golden Host (Mirkwood) crafted medium chest and pants (dyed grey)
Boots of the Axe-handler (Moria heavy set) (dyed grey)
Malledhrim (Mirkwood) heavy crafted gloves (dyed grey)
Hey, we look similar. :D Since the store opened with F2P and new cosmetics were introduced, I kept thinking I'd build a bunch of new outfits, but I haven't gone all crazy like I thought I might. Especially the white/grey outfit that I've had since near the beginning--so the most I could change was the cloak:

I've since added this high-contrast red/black/white outfit to my collection; ground to kindred for the pants, though I found out later they're available in the store now (something about the colors and the backpack together make this scream "ADVENTURE!!" to me):

And while I was running around Forochel, I did the quest chain that rewarded the cloak below (that apparently was added to the rep vendor and the store as well?), so I built an outfit from that:

Hm, I know the thread title is singular, but we can't possibly be expected to stick with just one favorite in LotRO, right? I mean, especially with the wardrobe and all!
P.S.: WTB more cosmetic outfit tabs, pretty please.
Heres my RK on Firefoot.
Necrophant The PumpkinKing.

Here's one of my other favorite outfits, don't know what others think of it, but I like it.

Did the resolution of the graphics at the character select screen get dialed waaay down since the change to it with F2P? I made a new image for one of my posts on an earlier page, and the images looked way more pixelated when I zoomed in. Additionally I think the character image on the select screen is 'shorter' than the one on the old selector screen. Anyone else notice this. It was nice before because you could zoom in so close that you could see the fabric detail on some items that you never would have noticed otherwise. Not getting that now.
