I play on the Meneldor server for the last 5 years. I quit about 6 months ago due to all the drama and dishonorable actions of several bad kinships over the years. They really ruined the game for me. But I am back now and ready to check out the new content.

I am 41 and a male. I'm lighthearted, fun and social and like doing events like Parades, Music, contests and other activities beyond just the scope of questing. Not much of an end gamer, I get tired of running the same quest over and over but will participate occasionally. I love to craft and chat, and exploring is a favorite pasttime of mine.

I prefer a kin with a good attitude, smaller so your not lost in a grind or the kin becomes impersonal. I like to become friends with the folks I play with, not be just a number. A mix of male/female is desirable as it makes for good chat and balance. I like social activites to be held occasionally, and a strong loyalty and support to the kinship. Light roleplay is fine (Titles, etc)

Hey Kinships,

I am looking for a Kinship for my new main toon that is located on the Brandywine Server. I first started playing LoTRO around December 2009, though I did participate in the original LoTRO Beta. However, due to not having a computer capable of playing the game well enough I did not get into LoTRO until that aforementioned date. I played pretty solidly for awhile getting my only character up to around level 59ish.

Eventually, I took a break because the game took up a lot of my time. Now I am back with better time management and I have really enjoyed my time back. I decided to start over and I am currently using a Lvl 19 Hunter named Limalach. I use a Hunter because it is the only class I can successfully use in a fellowship and it's a pretty good solo-able class.

Speaking of, I do prefer playing solo because I don't always play for lengthy periods. However, I love helping others and I will fellowship with other players to help them or to tackle content meant for multiple players. I am a completionist, and as such I play the game very slowly and do not rush my leveling.

Therefore I prefer a more laid back Kinship that isn't going to force me to play so much time and level up very quickly. I will participate in raids and skirmishes that are appropriate to my level as long as they are planned ahead of time so I can make sure I can do them. The Kinship must be full of helpful people as I myself will be helpful.

Many people see me as a mature and nice guy I'm quite social and always in for a good chat, not a problem. What I'd like to offer besides that is ingame ownage, as for now I'm not too good in this game but this will change once I get into the game as I pick up things fast, I will be able to contribute alot soon. I'm looking for a social, active, noob-friendly and especially a kinship that does group-oriëntated questing and instances. In my eyes this is one of the main activities of Kinships.

I'm looking for a large active kin. I'm mainly into PvE but I enjoy all the different aspects of MMO's. I've been trying to solo level and so far it has been a boring grind. The few times I've been able to get a group have been awesome. I find I log on less and less because I have no one to play with. Now for the ones that like reading.

There was a time when this guy was inspired by his older cousin to be the very best at gaming. Since he was five years old, his cousin usually cornered him in street figher and mortal kombat to beat the bones out of him, this took place at weekends for two years when his parents finally bought him a console that matched his cousin's. But not the games. Instead he got mario and donkey kong, which offered a big deal of a challenge since these were new and unexplored game styles.

He started to learn timing during the progression of his adventure, when to approach the enemy, when to jump on his head, walking speed of the characters, the moving pattern of plataforms. Then one day... This day his father appeared on the room, looked at the screen for a few minutes and then asked: "Why don't you run? You see, if you hold down this button, mario will sprint and can jump higher and longer than before.". That made the little guy think long and hard about character control -we CAN hold other buttons other than the directionals-, and that being discovered, he wished to unravel more mysteries about this complex world of gaming.

Another couple of years went by, but now he had some basic skill of his own. Shivering by the thoughts of the past fights, he grasped some courage and asked to visit the cousin again. It was time for a fight of David versus Goliath. They sat on the floor, chose their characters, selected the map and hell came to earth. His opponent was fast, he wasn't able to keep up to his moves 4 years ago, but now he could see them and predict their landing with fractions of seconds in advance, only enough for him to step back or jump or duck to avoid being hit. He could feel the enemy getting frustrated, this went on for some indetermined time as the very passage of time is distorted when you are under the effects of adrenaline. The fight stopped. They looked at each other and both of them felt this was going to be something worth of remembering. "Good luck" the cousin said, as he put the controller under his shirt and unpaused the match. All the moves changed drastically, they became complex, the stepping got unpredictable and right before finishing the little guy off, the cousin walked to the opposite side of the stage "This is called a special move". His fighter put his hands together, moved them really fast from the waist and towards my fighter -"HADOUKEN"- a flashing ball of blue fire was coming at his direction and he panicked, what would he do? Maybe jump over it? It seemed possible! Success! But wait! Again?! After avoiding the first hadouken, the opponent saw that he was a pretty tough kid and started to spam the special move. "If you hold the directional to your side of the arena, you'll block" he said, the kid, desperated for a way to survive, tried it and it did work. But he was still being damaged! Not as much as before but soon he would die! At that moment he realized that jumping was his only salvation, and he did well for a while, afterall the move wasn't as fast as the punches and kicks he dodged before. The cousin got double frustrated, when did my little cousin got this good? He ran towards him in anger, only to see him jumping over him like he was a mere hadouken. "Making me look silly are you? Get ready!" Helicopter kicks. Freaking helicopter kicks. He ended up winning again... "You have very good tactical skills, maybe i should present you with a game that'll take the best out of you to win, you should feel more confortable with this!".

It was a very different scenario, something he had never seen before. It was if he could watch the character from the ceiling now, and move north, south, east, west and diagonally, he would interact with various objects, break pots, cut grass, get eaten alive by chickens, but at the end he would win; and his former opponent would request advice from him on the end game -not that he could not defeat the last boss, but at the little things, how to go past the max amount of bombs and arrows the character could carry and other stuff- that was the moment when he felt he accomplished something, the big cousin asking for advice from the little cousin? That means something!

The story has been going on ever since... I heard the big cousin got married and quit gaming, but the little cousin still pursues the rewards that come with self improvement and knowledge, and now he has a couple of little cousins of his own, but he'll not show them fighting games for the time being, no, he will show them the magic of tactics before unfolding the art of war.

Once I learn more about the game and my class I can and will mentor to other noobs to strengthen the membership of the kinship.

Casual, but enjoy PvMP(I play freep). I'm generally in-game ~5 to 6pm until ~9pm eastern on weekdays and ~6am to ~9am eastern on weekends (I'm sometimes on weekend evenings, but can't make any guarantees)

I've played since beta and am a lifer/founder. I stopped playing right before F2P, but have recently returned. My main is at 85 w/full Hytbold and 2nd age bow(I only have one upgrade on it now, but I'm working on getting the other 2). I recently just obtained my first piece of the PvMP armour and will be focused primarily on PvMP and completing deeds when I finish rebuilding Hytbold in 4-5 days (I couldn't be bothered to do the math). I used to be a moors regular and am one of the few that actually use the target assist. I'm also a hunter that will actually put down traps to help protect the healers! I'm a grand master jeweller with full rep. I've got plenty of experience with raids and instances. I used to regulary run end game content (Rift, Watcher, old BG, etc.) While I haven't done any raiding since returning, I learn very quickly (as in tell me once and I got it) and I know my class very well (as if hunter was really hard to begin with). I know there's been quite a bit of changes since I left and I'm still getting up to speed.

I'm looking for a PvMP centered kin that might also get together and do some end game pve stuff on occasion. Generally I get along better in 18+ kins, but I know some younger people who are more mature than people my age. I also like kins with people who like to win/succeed, but don't take themselves too seriously (I like to laugh and have fun). Let me know if you think I might be right for your kin.

I believe a Kinship should be about brothers, not numbers. I like to talk to my Kinfolk, get to know them, and just casually discuss things, whether it is in-game or real-world events. I don't believe in having thousands of members, I don't believe in seeing random people with the same clan name.
