Hi, I'm a 7 year vet whose guilds have pretty much all vanished over time, and I'm looking for some more interaction in my day to day gaming.

I just returned from being away for an extended length of time. I must admit I am a bit of a newbie now in the game as everything seems new and have changed. I am looking for a kinship that has active people, basically to make friends and to talk to in game and occasionally outside game too if you like :) I am an open person friendly but a bit shy. I have found a Kinship, Lets all have fun together

I'm looking for a large kinship that does it all. My band won the very first Weathertop years ago and I'd like to get back into putting together ABC songs again. There apparently isn't a big end game raid right now, but when the next one is released I'd like to be part of the group that explores it and eventually turns it into a farm. I like epic battles and raids. I'm also looking for a kin with lots of lower level players, who are constantly looking for help smacking out a fellowship quest or Fornost or Garth Agarwen, or whatever -- I've run a Moria instance almost every day over the last couple weeks and while I like those I'd like to branch out and see about helping more people. I'd also like a kin with people on all evening and into the early morning -- I've been grouping with people from the Netherlands and other places far away from my hometown in California. Is there a kin like that or would I have to pick and choose a single niche to focus on and then join a kin that only focuses on that niche?

I mostly play a Minstrel, Tevye.

I work 12-14hrs a day 5 days a week. I get weekends off. (my weekend is Fri morning to Sun evening)
I work at night so my time of activity would be very early in the morning (around 4-8am Easten time zone) Weekends being anytime.
I used to play this game a few years ago, but I have been preoccupied with other activities. I didn't get very far when I did play, so I'm practically a noob.
I've played lots of MMOs so I understand the simple stuff.

Typically when I'm on, there's a five year old girl at my side playing as well. Hence why all the alts, so I can level with her while she gets a feel for each character.

Anyhoo, when I'm not with her, I would love to team up with other players and do some instances, skirmishes, and eventually raids, when I can at least get one character to the peak. I have every expansion and all quest packs except Wildermore and West Gondor.

As the title states, I am player who stopped playing about 2 years ago I think, (lost track). Anyway, I am looking for an active kinship that enjoys gameplay, friendships and just the all around enjoyment of the game. With all the new changes I am basically a new player again. I have two active characters that I brought back, one is a 74 hobbit warden, and another is a 74 burglar. (I came back for a very brief stint to get them to that level).

Hello. I would like to find a kinship to join and this seems like the best way to offer myself to any that might be seeking new members. I played for a short time back in '07 but left shortly after that (not sure why I did) and only very recently returned to the game. Nevertheless, I am very much enjoying my return and truthfully wished I had never left.

Regarding my personal taste for kinships, I have always enjoyed "themed" groups in the games I have played and if possible would like to continue to do so. In addition, I guess you could classify me as an "older" player (45) and while a certain amount of drama is to be expected in any organization, I would prefer a more mature environment.

I currently have three characters and do not have a preference or main (however, I do seem to play Uthrid the most lately).

I have some general RP experience from other games, but am no means an expert. However, I am always willing to give it a try and am open to learning.

While I have a long way to go before it's a possibility, I enjoy raiding and have enjoyed endgame content in several other mmos.

I really enjoy PvP and have done so in both large and small scale in every mmo that I have played, if it was an option. In that regard, I've always enjoy open-world pvp over anything "arena" based. I like the freedom the open world/larger map provides.

I play several hours a night during the week and a bit more on the weekends. My play times are usually 6pm to 10pm eastern on weekdays and ending later on weekends.

Regarding my playstyle, I've been just solo'ing since I've returned to the game with my focus on leveling up my character(s) and I tend to be a self-sufficient player. But truthfully, I have enjoyed it so much that I have found myself exploring and enjoying the scenery, when I should be grinding away.

I am looking for a Kin. I enjoy RPing and playing in Tolkiens world a great deal. LOTRO started for me in 2007 but not long after I started, the few friends that joined me here left the game looking for something else. Though I loved this game I followed though I never really found what I wanted. It hurt, doubly so as we all were involved in the Beta and bought Founder-VIP lifetime accounts. My highest level character was 42 when we peeled away and now I've returned alone and though I'm willing to continue alone, I much prefer the group and RP experience a Kin has to offer.

I'm easy going and willing to start over as I have had to relearn the game and what the classes I have chosen to play are really supposed to do. I enjoy crafting, gathering components and exploring. I enjoy the story that LOTRO offers and each golden ring gives me an opportunity to lean into a window and peer albeit briefly into another's life, their woes and their triumphs. But also to take part in those lives and give them aid if I can.

I live in the Eastern time zone and play in the evenings on weekdays and at different times on the weekends. I play no other MMOs right now and have no plans (seeing whats coming out) to add one.

I am not in a hurry to level or get to the endgame. It's not so much about the end of the journey as it is sharing the journey with like-minded people and is something I would like very much.

Hey everyone, I'm Diraen, a 27 Guardian hailing from Bree. I'm currently looking for a talkative leveling/raiding Kinship with some hopeful rp thrown into the mix since it's something I've become really interested in lately. I typically put in a good 10-20 hours a week with my preferred game, some weeks are closer to 40 depending on my work schedule and events. I've spent most of my time thus far soloing, but it's really quite boring and I'm always interested in finding new companions or people to chat with. Started over a few days ago - I had been on the roleplaying server but finally decided I'd rather have a server in New Jersey than Amsterdam. So here I am.

7 low level crafters one of whom I plan to level up quickly - the others will just use up blue bar (I'm VIP) once a day. I'm older than most - retired so I play a *lot*.

My wish list for a kin - and I know I won't get all of this: Maturity - higher than average age level in the kin and all or almost all adult. Minimal or no use of voice chat for routine kin conversation - based on poor hearing I prefer typed chat. Also for roleplaying reasons. Voice chat for raids is fine with me I'll cope. Large enough (or European enough) that some people are on most day times off-peak hours but not so jumbo that one doesn't get to know kin mates. I'm United States east coast but since I'm on during the day and off by 11PM I'm a good fit for a Euro kin though that isn't on my wish list. Thus my coming from the RP server which is an EU server.

Why kinships should be interested in you. In other words, why choose you and not another player. What do you offer kinships?: I have a lot of MMO experience overall and do know how to play the basic roles for group content for a number of classes. I usually pick up things pretty quickly and enjoy a good challenge. I'm fairly active and can contribute with helping other kinmates when I can. Also, I love crafting!

What kind of kinship you are looking for. (This one is very important for recruiters): Mainly one that is mature and fun, first and foremost. Secondly, one that does some sort of active group content. As I am just coming back after a lengthy time away, I would prefer one that would be willing to help me get up to speed on things as well, since I just hit 100 recently.

- Not really into pvp, but roleplay is fun and I look forward to grouping for raids once I catch up.
- I can typically login at *least* 20 hours per week--closer to twice that, for the foreseeable future.
- I enjoy solo play and don't mind grinding out those deeds. I play on a ###### laptop (let's shorten that to craptop) but low settings notwithstanding, I love exploring Middle-Earth for its own sake.
- I do have a mic so voicechat when necessary is no problem. I might not voice casually as often (late nights I should keep the shouting to a minimum!)
- 38/m, mature and drama-free, living in the Pacific timezone.
