About Me: I was an original LOTRO player back in 2007. I played from 2007 to about 2010 then stopped for other games. Basically stopped about 3 months after the Lothlorian expansion. I have been playing MMOs since 1998 when I started with UO. I am a mature player that looks for other mature players to game with. I have been and enjoy playing End-Game and raids. I am a very methodical player and love the challenge of progression. However, I understand that one person doesn't make a Kin. I enjoy and do help lower level players level so that they can also play in the higher levels. I am looking for a Kin that organized and active. MMOs I have played.. Lets see, UO, EQ, EQ2, LOTRO, Rift, DAOC, Conan, FF14, and Eve. Of those I was, when I stopped playing them, at full clear of all content in EQ, Rift (killed Regulos), DAOC, and almost LOTRO. I starting playing LOTRO back near launch in 2007. I have restarted on a different server to get the full experience again. Assorted Information: I played LotRO for almost two years and am returning now because of the upcoming expansion. I am currently a member of a Kinship (Shades of Twilight, but it is almost completely inactive now, so there is really nothing to prevent me from joining a more active Kinship. However, as I've been away from the game for almost three years, I have a great deal of learning to do about the changes that have been made to the game. A Kinship that invites me will be getting a dedicated, co-operative and team-oriented player to be sure, but one that needs to learn what is almost an entirely new game and for that I'll need their patience. Ideally, the Kinship would have characters in all level ranges for ease of grouping, though I am not so tied to any one character that I would not swap in order to fill a needed class slot.

I'm on dwarrowdelf with a few chars no higher than ~ 35th level. I seem to be hitting a spot on or near 30th level and find it hard to stay motivated on my own.

Playstyle: Primarily solo in PvE, although I find small group play (2 to 6 players) quite enjoyable. Crafting is integral, often demanding a significant portion of my time in gathering materials alone; I am presently a Farmer/Forester/Woodworker (Woodsman) with proficiencies of Apprentice/Westfold/Supreme. I am open to RP (and have read all of Tolkien's books, including the Silmarillion), though I have never gone out of my way to engage nor instigate such and by no means consider myself a "hardcore" player despite the often extended length of my sessions. PvP holds scant appeal, as does raiding, although short skirmishes and instance-based quests are acceptable. I genuinely enjoy the festivities and social events hosted by the developers and often spend time aiding low-level players in the starter zone.

LOTRO History: I began playing Lord of the Rings Online roughly a month or so after it went Free-to-Play, yet found my interest diminishing following a glut of repeated deaths and the dissolution of my longtime guild, with whom I had played several other games. A number of my friends from the guild stuck around, yet most ultimately migrated to other titles and I quit in turn when real-world concerns became more pressing (primarily school and personal-health issues). I returned to the game just last week, after reading a thread on MMORPG.com that detailed some upcoming changes to the combat and have since revived my adoration for Middle Earth.

MMOs Played: ...just about everything. From WoW to City of Heroes, FreeRealms and Ultima Online, Age of Conan, Fallen Earth, EdenEternal, Rift, Wurm Online, MapleStory, Runescape, SMTOnline, Anarchy Online... etc, etc, etc. If you can name it, I've likely played it.

What I Offer: Experience, a willingness to lend a hand and an occasionally dry, even acerbic wit.

What I'm Looking For: An active group of players, open to aiding lower-leveled members progress and patient with those who are not in a rush to reach endgame content. I'd prefer to avoid any kinship that suffers from bouts of "drama" or politics, and am decidedly not prone to inciting any, have scant tolerance for excessive vulgarity and extends a certain degree of consideration to all players. Kinship housing is not required, nor is a particularly large membership, a website/forum or any of the other amenities associated with organized guilds. Above all, I would truly enjoy finding a kinship that respects me even if my tendency is to be the "quiet guy" in the corner of the room or my proclivities push me to play the lone wolf for extended periods of time.

I usually play solo or sometimes in a group if there is a friend available to quests or what not together. I've never tried RP, but i am open to the idea and would definitely be interested.

I used to play Runescape and Maplestory some 4-5 years ago. Played GW2 for about month. Been playing League for about 3 or so years. Still do sometimes.

I've never really experienced a MMO with a guild (Kin). Usually played solo and never took any initiative in guild activities or even sought out a active guild. But i would really like to experience LOTRO differently and really enjoy my time in Middle Earth.
