Re: Freeps and Creeps of Snowbourn
Dweb, didn't you say that all freep are easymoders not long ago and now you play freep and call creeps easymoders?
Also, its funny how creep raid leaders cry about pew-pew and then make raid to kill people who roam around map solo or in small group, forcing them eventually to join pew-pew, becouse you will just get zerged by creep raid, without no chance to fight back.

I dont think i said all freeps are ezmoders and actually theres nothin wrong with grouping aswell (grouping not raids) but there was only zerg everywhere and while tryng to roam around in possible places to get some 1v1 action i got hammered by latur and co thats why i complained :)
And i agree with secong half of a post.
and heard in global that soem pic-s and vids will be up here soon not sure what about but looking forward to it.

Not to worry... There were loads of freeps with +x% damage /+x morale buffs as well so it's kinda comparable with that. And it's not like you chose for it or something. Anyway I did enjoy sparring ya :-). TC

I have seen freep raids zerg the entire map. Freeps fightclubbing other freeps on their creeps at 1v1. I have been killed at almost all map points. Been followed and killed when mapping good ta. I have been killed by groups and raids as a soloing creep with no other creeps around. I have seen blue map + freep raid + ranger three times. Today I had 15 or more freeps camping my long burrow for 10 min - thank you whoever planted the apple tree on me, it was purdy. I thought I was the flank queen but there is one dwarf that is actually as good as me. Yesterday we had a a freep raid farming TA for a good 30 min mostly soloing creeps. I have seen freep raids made when no need at all, like this morning when a captain got moody after been killed by a warg so he went and made a raid as revenge etc etc.
So the 60 or so pages on this forum with freeps complaining about zerging creep raids, poor soloing freeps being killed etc means nothing at all. I have tried to be fair and not make raids when there hasnt been enough freeps but I am not going to bother to count how many freeps there are online anymore.
The problem here is that soloing just isn't very viable in the current environment. I like to go it alone and solo - I've got most of my renown that way, but have been joining raids more frequently of late. Why? Because most of the time when I'm roaming trying to find a fight, there's either a warg pack lying around that will pounce before I have chance to get the kill, or the said creep is actually bait for the creep raid just waiting to zerg. I don't mind dying but I'm not going to waste my time looking for fights with no chance of victory.
Aside from the general environment, I think the reason you've found it impossible to get a fair fight is your reputation - no one is going to stand around and give you a fair fight because historically you haven't done so yourself. There's no way I'd go for you even if I saw you alone without having backup purely based on past experience, knowing that a raid wouldn't be far behind you.

Re: Freeps and Creeps of Snowbourn
Funny that you say you solo, yet you don't take on solo opponents - only couple of days ago I saw you shout in OOC about Galania behind OC :). So, really - how are you soloing?

When the amount of players is unbalanced there's never chance to stop taking the map cause there's always someone, grouped or ungrouped, pushing to get some easy renown-inf. That's really boring.... We must admit I've seen the same opposite condition for a very long time, on 2010 last months and first 2011 part.
I don't mean it's right to flip things like that... I just mean that there are no good or bad sides, there are only players that, depending on lotro period, play more often their freep, unbalancing the fight, as there are periods when freeps focus on pve and map go completely red.

Well, on last 15 days I met her soloing like 10 times... (included the one I was half afk)
Actually I've met her soloing more often than I've met you, though you're not easy to be noticed consindering you're in stealth, and show up only when you have cds :)

You shouldn't care about childish players. Just close your eyes, put hands on your ears and ignore them like I do. It's no easy but it's still easier than trying to fix things with them.. that is simply impossible.
To speak with them you need to lower yourself to their level and that's always a mistake.

Yes, you won't meet me when you're grouped with your friends. And yes, I do show up all the time, with or without my cd's. If I'd only fight with my cd's - I would be having 1,8+ rating all the time and close to no deaths per day.
I die 70%++ of the times I engage in a fight recently, not because I loose the 1on1, but because of heavy travelled routes where one often find more than 1 lone freep.

that is the same for alone creeps. when i do solo(alone) roams away from main fight on my warg or reaver, i just got steamrolled by bunch of freeps(grouped or ungrouped doesnt matter) or i start a fight againt 1 freep then few more freeps pop up and zerg me there. tbh i dont see any difference between them except lame warg packs. both side zerg/farm when they have opportunity, thats the fact.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to imply it was a one sided thing - I agree it's something both sides are guilty of. The comment made earlier is true though - it's the side switchers that ultimately make things worse by unbalancing things. There's rarely any even fights anymore, just one side steamrolling the other depending on which side the sideswitchers play on a given day.

Thank you for the efforts you did (and that we could not know about, since there was not a freep around).

It's really sad you did not find out who... was that r6 weaver who sent you these tells, using an especially created character parodying (!) your character name, about how you should or shouldn't play in an open PvP area.
All the bestest =)

I think you got the point and I agree with you, it's not a matter of sides, just of opportunities.
Though I've seen raid leaders zerging only to avenge a death, recruiting fellows with messages like "forming raid to zerg creeps and kill them all until they log!". That's not only the wrong spirit but also a bad and childish behaviour, that should be reported next time.

Thank you for sharing your opinion on that matter.
How about players who uses Xfire to tell the other side what to do (''Go ninja that keep'' and then ''abort, cause you've been spotted'') or what they are not going to do (i.e. "not defend Lug")? Should it be reported?
How about voting (as best player) for someone who's been busted clubbing (at crude TR, poor ID...)? Is that wrong spirit?
How about making a ''random'' post because a side caused you a hard day, and go play with that side the following day? Is that a bad and childish behaviour?
Or is it events that occur everyday and does not need to be mentioned?

All characters depicted in that post are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.

Well, they should be time banned, yet they can't cause x-fire is not lotro and that's outside game policies.

Well, I think this question is childish itself. What you described is not having a childish behaviour. Childish is considering pvmp "sides" as parts involved in a real war, but this is a game. I take me as example.. I'm defending mostly creeps on my posts nowadays but I still play mainly my freep cause I love my champ and I want to be r10 before 30 october to get veterans cloak and title. Is that childish? I repeat, childish is considering pvmp sides as something you choose for your lifetime and you must be faithful at. Why the hell?:) Both sides are full of cute and smart people that, most of times, are the same, just switching depending on the kind of entertainment they're looking for in that specific moment.

You may not be aware of it, but for the last few months, a number of creep leaders have been pretty busy systematically destroying solo and small group action by repeatedly zerging locations where solo and small group action happens, resorting to luring and baiting if need be. Last week was no exception and there's been a creep raid and warg raid up pretty much every evening I was online.
And now for a short story:
Two days ago, I was grouped with a RK buddy of mine, who, while we were roaming about a distance from each other, got into a fight with a reaver. I rode closer, but since the reaver (can't remember who) appeared to be on his own, I stayed on my horse and watched, even as my buddy got dangerously close to running out of morale.
Had we crossed instead a certain raid leader without her raid, I would have dismounted and helped my buddy nuke her back to the nearest spawn point, maybe calling her location on /ooc for good measure. I assume people who enjoy 24:1 action prefer it that way.

You should play your Creep more often then, and you would see the constant out number buff during the day and the constant OC zergings that go ahead, mind you at least with a full blue map you can just camp grams, better than lug gy i guess, or is it?

no.1 wow, wow, wow, wow, wow. drop the stupid rubbish with the thing that happened to you, it was ages ago, get over it, this is pvp forum it didnt happen in pvp it happened over xfire, and on the website, that rubbish has nothing to do with pvp so stop bringing it here.
no.2 poor poor poor poor hedvig, u got zerged? strange isnt it not having ppl spam heal u isnt it hedvig? now u know how solo'ers feel, or should i say ''SOLOERS FOLLOWING OTHERS'' but yeh its just creeps that get zerged, no. both sides get zerged, it was mainly freeps who got zerged but since 2-3 weeks ago freeps seem to have gained 100% domination everynight, but dont make out its just creeps who get zerged, none of us said it was just freeps, we said creep raids zerged, we didnt say freep raids didnt, but dw ill make sure myn do more than usual soon, coz im gunna have some fun with raids before isen. however hedvig you play victim. ;)
