Seriously!! Time to resume my hobby of maximizing shards for the heck of it. I quit because there was too much clicking involved.

"There is now a 1 minute cooldown after switching to saved class trait configuration before you can swap again."
I'm not happy about this....As a minstrel, a lot of times I'm asked to get up to 6 anthems going at the start of a fight....with the 1 minute cool down this will be impossible to sustain the anthems before hand and swap back to my blue trait line.....
I agree with the previous comments made about this latest effort to change current game strategies by players....the more I think about it the angrier I get....
I have never complained about the fact that SSG wants to make money. Heck we need paying players to make it possible for Free to Play players have this game around....I mean really, there is equipment, rent, payrolls....People need to be able to make a living too.....
Regarding the trait swap cool down I see no benefit the game and quite a lot of detriment.

Fair enough. its just not quite as bad i guess.

So, yeah....I decided to check this out....my anthems last for 1 min 10 seconds. The most I was able to get were 3 anthems that the group would be able to use, especially if I need to swap back to a blue healing line before the battle starts.....so what's the point....just refund me the mithril coin I spent getting my extra trait lines that my kin wanted me to be able to do in order to get the anthems up. So unless you are staying in yellow line, might as well forget the extra anthems from here on out. I don't understand why it was considered an exploit and left to be available for so long then.
If, in fact, this is happening for the main reason of reducing the number of anthems... at this point it's pretty much useless as many of us are at least very near the mastery cap, if not at the cap.
But, like I said in the earlier post, this and removing the minstrel flop in instances is just a monument to laziness. Is it really that hard to make anthems overwrite each other if someone tries to do more than 3?
About landscape:
Lake town: It is the Argonath landscape with a small (not even town size) village on it. The building design of lake town is not bad at all but in my opinion the town should be bigger. The sodlier's armor design is not bad (better than Gondor soldiers ).The skies are boring doesn't give you the sense of North type area.
Dale:The city should compete bree town as a new north-men's settlement for players to stay while raiding etc. so i would suggest to have a square with AH relic masters and every needed npc arround. The building design is ok since all north-men's settlements are bree style so good job .
Erebor: No words !! just revamp it it is terrible
The forest of Norther Mirkwood : Is just darker Fangorn with some eregion ruins inside and it was boring to travel around. The frill option inside fango.. err i mean mirkwood is terrible.
Thraduil's Hall: It doesn't seem bad at all. Southern mirkwood building design is just right since all mirkwood supposed to be woodrealm territory so i give thumbs up for the hall Good Job
Generally, i felt more like been in Rohan than in Hobbit book and i feel bad that you ruin Rohan's uniqueness because Rohan is one of the most beautiful places in lotro (compete even the movies) and you ruin it by using its materials in WRONG WAY and i don't say that Rohan is boring i say that seen aspects of Rohan to newer areas are boring.
About Character selection screen: Made in ch..a ( i guess i m getting reported here). You guys have so much confidence about your new world building designs that you even put it in the background screen of the character selection or your boss doesn't let you express an opinion so you are obliged to do what he said in order to keep your jobs (ok i understand that) because all this seems like a troll to me now i have 2-3 seconds of black screen while switching races (like high elves in current state on live servers) is your economic manager says that those changes can bring you more money?(hahahahahaha). My characters are loading faster on live servers than in beta. Are you planning to revamp Monster players panel as well? this is a joke.
And Last thing i have to say: In my opinion give trait system back to bards if you want to fight switching trait exploiters.
Sorry for my English.
You are getting resist, you should look next time from your CA when that happens smoultering stats and I am 100% sure that it has resist. SW is one of the RK skills what is getting resisted more than some other skills. Sometimes I get 3 resists in row until it actually goes off. Yes it's annoying but it's something we need to live with.
However I think there may be some bug because some skills does get more resists than others. One thing what I have been thinking is that maybe SW all pulses are checked and it only fires off when NONE of the pulses gets resisted. That would also explain why DF gets high resist if all DF pulses are checked. Would be interesting if someone would who have +2 pulse set would do some testing with DF to see if +2 pulse set increase resists or if it stay at same.
if possible, please convert all those "lost lore" quests to deeds. I find its annoying to have open quests and all my "lost lore" quests in Mordor are still unfinished, because I just dont find the last page, or in 2 cases the last two pages. I dont want to have to look things up in the wiki, just to finish quests. If it was a deed, I wouldnt really bother, as a deed doesnt block a spot in questlog.
Yes, let's pick the 2 strongest skills for creepside and compare them to freeps. My rk hits for 100k+ hits in lightning, and 30+k on dots. My hunter routinely hits for 70k+ on creeps with barrage. My mini can full heal with 1 skill. Meanwhile, the hardest claws has hit my mini with only 37% OC mits and 23% crit D is for a whopping 14k of my 107k morale pool.
Maybe adjust your build and come back out again before whining that creeps faceroll you.
How come I'm not surprised that the first reply is someone whining that they will not be able to exploit during AoM, or at least exploit as easily?

Oh, the wailing and gnashing of teeth that will happen when this goes live.
^^^ This. Maybe if you are a new player and chose an RK for your main, but then again the game says RK is an advanced class so you don't listen and wonder why you have trouble?
There's a reason why there are so many hunters in the game: it's listed as a beginner class. There's no need to swap between trait trees at the lower levels. Hell, for the matter, how many blue hunters swap to red? They're too busy bragging about how awesome their DPS is - a properly traited red can do just as much /troll - to bother swapping.
A core tactic???

I must admit, I'm getting a real kick out of reading how many people feel that stuff like this is essential for game play.
This is, IMO, the result of the game having been too easy for so long, i.e. whenever it started getting difficult people who never took the time to actually learn to play their class start grasping for whatever straws they can to stay alive.
As someone else said: do you actually remember when landscape mobs were hard? Of course you don't. I do, which is why I've never felt compelled to use blue line on my hunter. In other words, my hunter is actually setup to be played in red with better than "above average" DPS.
The CD after switching trait trees isn't that big of a deal. If anything, it'll force people to learn their classes again, which is a good thing IMO. Think of it as being an extension of Mordor: people died a lot in Mordor when it first came out because we all (me included) walked in there with an arrogance thinking we'd be able to one-shot everything like we did in North Itilien and Dagorlad. It wasn't until people learned to respect what was happening that the region started getting mastered more easily by more than just the hunters.
I completely agree. Nothing will prevent players from waiting for 1 minute, use the necessary skills and change their specialization. In my opinion, updating the cooldown after each skill used would be a much better solution.
Also I would like to know if there will be any changes in pvp?
As much as I like the LI upgrades one still has to use one Anfalas scroll at the time for each legacy.
Which becomes a bit tedious when doing 3-400 for a 1st age on Bullroarer, considering you have ample supply of everything.
not in combat, right. but for some harder pulls in some instances like the big group in DoS directly before the bridge to the DoS, you can switch to red, activate sprint, switch back to blue, run to the enemies, use warchant and the whole pack lies on the floor for 5 seconds, allowing you to stack your defensebuff.
you can switch weapon, shield and secondary LI and switching LI is quite interesting for several skills. for example LM unimbued book has +5% damagereduction via Firelore or cappy has longer duration for shield of the dunedain etc, which makes some people switch those equipment pieces whenever they use those skills, which renders the "choices" people make for their equipment ridiculous, if some people just "choose" everything.
so if there was a 5s cd for all skills after switching equipment, obviously LM could still use their unimbued LI for better firelore and cappy could still switch for longer SoD. But they'd be unable to do anything for 10s if they switch that much, which at least gives it a cost.
and having a cd for switching equipment would make sense. you need to store your items and equip others, which realistically cant be done in no time, especially if you switch back shortly after and not just throw the old stuff away.
harder pulls? there arent any hard pulls in the game for guards whatsoever. its not worth the effort at all switchting traitlines just to stun for 5 seconds if your intention is to tank in blue line.
it only makes absolute sense in redline for positional debuffing and bleed stacking.
