Rise of Isengard Update/Patching Discussion - OFFICIAL

I give up! The power of Saruman to prevent entry into Isengard is too much for me.

Gonna take a nap. 2 hours of this is way too much, and I've put in more than 2 hours. :(

Its all good guys, just wait till tomorrow and go do another thing (: Dont tell me that u looked into your PC for 8 hours waiting for a green X, lol

Most everybody is having this problem. So far the party line is that it's normal.

My money is on getting logged in just in time for Christmas.

Somehow I've manage a /roll 1 ..... against the patch server for the last 7 hours :(

uh, just copy over the game client from the first one instead of sucking down bandwidth that could be used to update someone else.

Finally patching after 4 hours of trying...

In the case of my Elf, she's lived for three milennia. I suppose a few more hours won't hurt to wait to head to Isengard. :P

I love how people act like games never have downtime for expansions. Go on and go play SWTOR, in the end it will just be another game to go F2P.

people here are frustrated enough for various reasons w/o the name calling and other insults flying about

hei, go out get drunk ,watch a movie or something, chances are you might even forget about lotro for a few hours without medication too.

This was me also since the forums change it keeps randomlu changing my login and logging me out.

Argh.... Just started updating.... Last 6 hours I was trying to figure what the hell is going on with connection... Also reinstalled game once :X

I hate Blizzard. I hate everything they do with every fibre of my being.

But Turbine could stand to learn a thing or two from them about servers. =\

... trying to patch for nearly 8 hours now, and neither restarting the launcher frequently nor letting it run for HOURS seems to speed it up :(

Haven't got past connection yet... Nowhere near even starting to patch.

i started patching about 40 mins ago and now im done see ya all in Isengard 8)

4 hrs and waiting, should have never restarted when it got stuck.

I play World of Warcraft, and trust me, it is no better on patch days. Generally they say the servers will be up at 11:00, then 12:00, then 1:00, and don't go up until late the next night. At least now SOME people can play, in WoW on patch day nobody should count on being able to.

OMG! I JUST STARTED PATCHING!

Call 911- I think I'm about to have a heart-attack ;)

Now we'll see if it will complete- I'm sort of stuck at 3%

Edit: Not stuck, just downloading like I was back in the 300 baud modem days..
