Then shouldn't this be for BR and not the live servers?

My transfer of all items and characters on one surviving world to another surviving world went flawlessly. Thank you!
I went in transfers window and no servers are showing up.
Please there is a way to fix this? I don't really want to be forced staying more on crick, i waited so long for transfers.
Bullroarer is not a transfer system, but a COPY system, it works a little different. They have been testing transfers to/from a 2nd test server, but testing there DOES require one to download the full 20 GB of Bullroarer test data, which is something not everyone is able and/or willing to do.
It's about time they brought it to live worlds, only on the live worlds they can really filter out any potential problems.
Do you have multiple (different) accounts attached to the same email address? I believe the issue is with this, as the system doesn't know how to differentiate between the accounts. I don't know if Vyvyanne has offered a fix for this, but I believe that is where the problem is for those who have posted there with this issue.
I have transfered my hunter that owns a house from Laurelin to Gwaihir including house stuff, shared storage and account shared stuff. When I transfered hunter back it left house stuff, shared storage and account shared stuff on Gwaihir even when I checked the shared stuff butto in launcher. I have sent two tickets but didn't even get an automail that Turbine recieved the bug report.
I successfully transferred 6 characters and shared items from BW to Crick right after the update was finished. I did not lose any name, kin transferred and had email about my house and the items from the housing hooks and storage were in escrow. I couldn't have been happier! Thank you Turbine!
I did have one strange thing happen though. My kin leader and 2 other characters rolled over to the 2nd page of the character select screen since I had 2 characters on Crickhollow before transfer. Those 3 characters were the only ones that were automatically added to the kin on Crickhollow. It is not a big deal to me as it's a personal kin, but may be for other kinships.

PS: I am a VIP Founder with only one subscription so transfers can't be limited to only F2P accounts.
There were 2 rounds of testing on Bullroarer BEFORE the transfers went live last week. There were problems with some and they handled the situation and fixed them and we are back to live transfers. I am sure they will handle the problems with the same efficiency. There may be problems but there are some perfectly successful transfers happening as well.
I'm guessing you've never been involved in a software development process. It's never safe to assume that all bugs will be found in a test environment before releasing to prod. There are too many variables involved that can allow bugs to make it to prod such as...
- different environment variables
- different code between test system and prod
- different operating system versions
- different network paths
- limited testing time (especially when companies lay off their QA folks)
Others are reporting successful transfers. Mine was flawless. With something this big there are bound to be hiccups. A 2-day time frame allows them to gather data and act accordingly so that when YOU transfer from Dwarrowdelf it's a perfect transaction.
This is correct behavior, there is a two week prohibition against shared items returning from whence they came, sadly that info is hidden in replies in threads, not announced well.
So there were three other characters in the kin on the old server that came to the new server as no longer in kin? Did you transfer all at once; kin leader first, then others; or one at a time, if so, what order?
It was tested on Bullroarer and Palantir, in multiple ways. There, transfers took less than a minute for all the reports posted. The difference here is transfers are taking longer depending on load. This is the next phase of the process, as previously outlined (first BR, then limited to remaining open worlds, then smallest servers, etc.)
Just as an FYI, we are testing what we hope will be a fix for the blank screen that many players are seeing. If our testing is successful we will bring down the transfer service for a short time and apply the fix. The worlds will remain up, but the transfer service should only be down for a short time while we apply the update.
