(Solo, group, PvE, PvP, RAIDs, casual, hardcore, end-game, RP, no RP, time limited, crafter, “I don’t know, I’m new to this kind of game”, etc.): PVE, Raids if possible, Would like to learn crafting mechanics, softcore PVP player if i enjoy it (I am open to either side in the PvM setting as it seems interesting)

Why kinships should be interested in you. In other words, why choose you and not another player. What do you offer kinships?: I am willing to learn all aspects of the game that are required to help function in a guild. Willing to learn required roles in PvE, PvP and crafting in order to help the guild and myself to get better at the game. I am a support player so will likely be levelling all the support classes , and second tanks. Im not a huge Min-Maxer as i am just looking to have fun.
What kind of kinship you are looking for. (This one is very important for recruiters): PvE focused with space for people to learn the game and help build
What is this post icon for...?
Woohooo, got to level 23 and now I can post in the forums(?)!!
I can't tell if recruiters are actually reaching out to people here, but I'm new to LOTRO and it's not clear to me how else to go about finding a kinship (especially on Ithil), so I hope this returns some results.
My name: Cairdwyn (a Captain of Rohan)
Age: turning 30 in June!
Preferred server: Ithil
Location: California, so Pacific Standard time except during daylight savings but hopefully we will be getting rid of that soon
Playstyle: Been going solo simply because I have no other option at the moment! I think I would rather play with other people. I'm not super competitive though (more collaborative) so I'm not really interested in PvP.
MMO games you’ve played: I don't remember the name, I was in middle school and it was text-based!
Why kinships should be interested in you: I'm a perfectly amiable, drama-free person. Also, I log in pretty much every night (this is how I unwind after work), so I'll be around frequently to participate in the kinship. I've been really enjoying LOTRO but I think I will enjoy it much more once I start meeting people and forming relationships (that's what fellowship is all about, isn't it?).
What kind of kinship you are looking for: A mature social space with some questing and a range of experience levels, so I can fit in with the relative newbies but have opportunities to learn from more seasoned players, and someday return the favor for new folks when I'm more experienced myself.
On a side note, I had my first in-game interaction with another player last night. It was a very nice person named Annelore, she invited me to join a brief fellowship with her just to help me gain experience points (she was a level 50 Elf or High Elf), and she helped me find the ruin-web trapper at Amon Ros after I had been running around for several game-hours looking for it. After some of the things I've heard about toxic gamer culture, I was really happy and surprised to have such a friendly encounter. On the LOTRO Reddit, many people also express their appreciation for the mostly mature and friendly LOTRO gamer culture. I hope Annelore wasn't an outlier; I would like to meet more nice people!
Looking for a kinship (so I'm posting here)
Server: Arkenstone
Main character: Lycaion, elf loremaster
Time zone: GMT-6
Me? Angry nerd. Bought this game at release, quit at level 30-40 when every spineless parasitic imbecile refused to run Garth Agarwen on-level and wanted only to be run through it by max-level characters. Returned several times since then, quitting every time as the game got more and more idiot-friendly, dumbed-down, oversimplified, truncated and repetitive, etc. Bringing my character up to speed (currently level 111) and I'll be devoting some time over the next few months to seeing what, if anything, is new in LotRO, so I'd like a kinship capable of running a diverse array of group content. I am absolutely not interested in powergamer twits mindlessly grinding only the latest instance, or in mealymouthed "we're a family" types which never do anything but enthusiastically greet each other as they log in and out every day. I don't bother with PvP either, or whatever rolesaying passes for roleplaying here. If your posse's capable of intelligent conversation, that would be a huge plus.
There. If that didn't scare you off, pm me or toss Lycaion a mail in-game. I will not be looking at this thread again.
