Any update? Folks are starting to speculate that the site's been hacked.

Good Morning Laurelin.

We apologize for the the prolonged downtime. We have been working since yesterday to get the site back online .

At this moment we have no indications the site has been hacked .

We need cooperation from our host to fix this issue , we have contact them several times and we hope to hear back from them today.

We want to thank you for your patience and understanding while we work on getting the Laurelin Archives back as soon as we can.

An update on the current status of the Laurelin Archives :

The good news is that all the data and users personal information are safe , however the site will require some extended technical work and this may take sometime. As many of you know the Laurelin Archives is run and maintained by volunteers, so any major work will need to be done when people are able to spare time for it. The Laurelin Archives Webteam is determined to bring the site back as soon as possible. We are confident we can do it, but we can't tell you now how long this will take. We hope you will come back once the site is up and running again, in the meantime if you have any questions or feedback, please feel free to let us know in this thread.

As promised a small update on the current Laurelin Archives status :

Work is underway to improve performance and stability of the website.

We are now in contact with our host as they review the work we have done.

We still do not have any estimate of how long it will take for the site to get back online, but considerable progress has been made today.

Ok so the site is once again failing to load properly.
