It may "work the same", but the rate of scrapping all your current gear is completely ridiculous, at least to me. I truly thought one of the main reasons of stopping annual expansions was to relax a bit on level increases and instead we're getting more of them...Quote:

The reward of a first age that would be in use for months seemed to be a huge reward, and 2A symbols would at least give something.
Now that we know there will be 2x gear wipes, even the First age would have been useless in 4 months. Which means that we wont even have time to use our 95 SA symbols...
Which makes the 2x 2A symbols kind of insulting.
Aka we didnt give you a top piece for 4 months, we gave you two lower tier pieces for 4 months.
If they knew the gear was going to be useless in under 4 months (April +4 +4 = Jan) why not just stick with the first ages and let people have a little fun before the gear whipe.
