I just want to chime in real quick and say that I have really been appreciating the design of these Bingo quests. I created a new character just for these and so far I have really liked how the progression of the quests allows me to stay pretty much in parallel with the areas that I would be in anyway while leveling up. That is, I can do my 'usual' quests (e.g., the Old Forest quests from last week) while still keeping up with Bingo and his adventures. For the same reason, I also like how it tells me what level next week's quest will be, so I can be sure to have my character at approximately the appropriate level. This really allows Bingo to be an 'added-value' experience rather than feeling something that is taking me away from other activities.
There was a hobbit who traveled a lot
And Bingo was his name-o.

Please please please add these items to the barterer:
Dulcimer Musical Cracker (https://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Ite...usical_Cracker)
Flute Musical Cracker (https://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Ite...usical_Cracker)
They used to be rewards for the now removed quest Belated Birthday and I really want them on my characters on the server I restarted on a couple of years ago. Please? :o
___SPOILER___
Ha, I again liked this week's episode.
The fact that old Tom just misplaced and forgot about Bingo's diary ties in nicely of what was said about him at the council of Elrond. You know, that he cannot be entrusted to keep th ring safe, because he is oblivious to the concerns of the mortals and therefore might just forget he has the ring and lose it.
He certainly is oblivious to Bingo's concerns. "Oh, bother!" :)
Which server is Ole Tom transferring to? He is a Merry Fellow so I will follow... U2?

The Two Taverns :)
at first glance I thought it said The Two Towers.
In the meantime it looks like we get to stop for drinks every chance we get :)
What's next? a BBQ on Weathertop?
Bingo should have a traveling wagon with him so we can tailgate along the way ;)
I thought this week's felt a little dry. And it's certainly going to make it impossible to roleplay in the Pony common room for a week or two. Oh well, there are other places.
I am of the oppisite mind, I foind last weeks to be a bit dryer than most, in fact it seems to me that every other week seems to be the better instalment (they are all good just some like this weeks seem better to me)
As far as the RP goes, sadly... people do drink and dance on tables at taverns. I believe its specifically mentioned somewhere of a hobbit dancing on a table, so, if truly roleplaying in the world off Tolkien. That should enhance the rp IMO not disturb it.
Question about Bingo tokens, right now we are restricted to getting only some of the rewards (not enough tokens for all the stuff), so picking and choosing. Will there be some way in the future of getting enough tokens to get all the rewards on one character or will you need quite a few toons to gather all the goodies?
It's not the appropriateness, it's the spamminess. If you RP drinking and eating and dancing on a table you don't do it with a dozen quick emotes scrolling the screen (and if you do you get on ignore lists pretty quick), you do it by describing your action, hopefully the way an author might describe it if that was happening in a scene. But with a dozen people running through the room doing a dozen emotes each, there's no room to follow much of anything else in the scrolling. But it'll tail off quickly, it's already starting to.
I'm not all the way through yet, but so far nobody has to worry about Bingo stopping, especially since he never starts. Except for the brief "swimming" moment, he just stands there, or crouches there.
I guess I can't fault his bad swimming technique, I mean I too (in game) routinely go swimming fully clothed.
Edit: Oh, I have 40 Bingo Boffin tokens. Where do I trade them in?
At Bert Bartleby :)
