Why don't Turbine release the patch to be installed a week earlier than the game goes live?
This will at least lessen the load on the server.
Even Blizzard do this and their game is ####.
You would think that a patch that has to work for the entire player base planet wide would demand more resources automatically, not added as the thing progressed....I'm not too impressed by this. If I had a disc I'd be updating locally then just patching the updates, which would be a lot smaller. What bright individual thought that not releasing boxed content was good for consumers? Where's the car I paid for!?
It didn't make the update cheaper, that's for sure.

Will update when something happens.
I've been at this twice, the first time I aborted it...thought it locked-up.

You always have to love the people that freak right out when this happens and rage quit lol. It happens to every one every time on every mmo and if you can get on right after a major content patch they shut down the servers with in a few hours for the rest of the day half the time just to sort out the bugs :DQuote:
