Sing long, sing sad
And dream of long ago
Of sweet love, sweet sorrow
And of heros of old.
This one, unlike the last one I posted, is specifically related to Lord of the Rings.
Holder of the third
Grey to white, wanders and leads
Angelic being
Ok thats Gandalf:)
(and I still havent figured out the answer to your last Haiku hehe)
here's my new one
quite easy most likely
I am a homeless traveler. A tireless world explorer.
If I ever stop it means I’ve died. But no man may stop me.
At my leisure, I am a gentle old wanderer, warm and kind.
When in great haste, I am a mighty conqueror, merciless, stiff, and cold.
Hide from me then, for you will never outrun me.
correct.
Bah, way to easy.
ok next time i'm bringin out a tough one:cool:
I posted this last month, but no one got it. I have revised it slightly to be more true.
Sea, sky, and the boy,
Blood of the best and some bells.
Sad if you are me.
Reminder: this is not specific to Lord of the Rings.
Gah I just cant seem to figure this one out. :(
Maybe its about a painting hehe
Am I the only one who needs a hint?
(btw I have what I think will be a good tough one ready to go:))
Yes!
*smiles for the camera to attain approved posting length*
GAH! I feel so silly for not getting that!:(
Nice guess SL, and nice riddle Pillagem:)
Ok Silverlocket, your up.
I need a riddle to ponder today.
(still can't believe I didnt get Pillagem's. /facepalm)
Morgoth's greatest gift,
Túrin couldn't escape it,
Evil Towers it has known to lift,
A captain it can fit.
i thought it was easy? no one?
Ive been mulling it over repeatedly.
But after Pillagem's last riddle, I've come to temporarily doubt my riddle solving abilities and Im afraid to ask for a hint lol:o
ok....
it's not a person
it's not a place
it's not a time
it's a race..
..no, not really - did i actually come up with a stomper? must be the coffee..
Well I was thinking "the race of Dragons" before. But In my head, I couldnt get the third line to fit with it.
first line is Morgoth's creation of the dragons/ loosing of Glaurung on the world.
second line -All the misery the Worm brought into Turin's life, even after it's death at Turin's hand
4th line probably referring to the Dragon Helm of Dor Lomin, being worn by certain "captains" of men.
Still not solved?
Last hint: rhymes with repair
First two lines are akin to a gollum riddle,
last two lines are facts that can be found in lore
Is it despair?
A newbie got it... the shame. lol jk
Barad Galuran is also known as Circle of Despair
The Witch King at Pelennor was known as Captain of Despair
who's turn?
Someone can just post one, I'm horrible at making riddles.
