I think it is safe to say it is the "fall" date you will find on most household calendars, which is the astronomical one. We should not even have this discussion....

Google "When does fall end" and you get the following info:

Seasons of 2015:
SPRING EQUINOX March 20, 6:45 P.M. EDT
SUMMER SOLSTICE June 21, 12:38 P.M. EDT
FALL EQUINOX September 23, 4:21 A.M. EDT
WINTER SOLSTICE December 21, 11:48 P.M. EST

Hi,

I thought at the moment all transfers were free. I have a character on Gladden [us] and when I click on the transfer wizard it comes up with your worlds, and there is nothing to select. Any ideas ? Game is all up to date. Running on windows 10. And VIP subscription.

Gladden is a Destination World, transfers off it are not open at this time.

I thought transfer between all worlds were possible and free until 1st of October.

So I am stuck on this world, and can't move to a European world ?

No transfers between EU and US worlds.

Even when Gladden reopens for transfers, you won't be able to move to an EU server. US-EU transfers (and vice versa) are not possible due to database incompatibility problems.

Hello oh great and wonderful Vyvyanne, any Update on the Hardware Installation/Server Data Transfer for Brandywine? Really starting to get overcrowded (more so than ever!) with new character creations, etc, making Lag and reduced awareness a daily issue. While we know that some thing are out of Turbines control with the eb/flow of the net, an update for BW would be nice ;)

It seems that the hardware thing is for all of Turbine and when it does happen, it does so for all servers.

Hi, I was just wondering if I would be able to transfer from Evernight server to Laurelin server.

Evernight has become far too laggy for gameplay from my computer

So far, I've been unable to transfer at all, when I press the transfer tab. no worlds are listed for my account, but I have characters on both Evernight and Laurelin

You will need to wait until transfers between surviving worlds are resumed.

Makes sense to me.

In the very least, I hope that Turbine doesn't push the definition of fall to its limits. I imagine a lot of people will be busy with the holidays, Turbine included, and before anyone who doesn't celebrate Christmas complains, it's simply a fact of life in these parts. Might as well just go with the flow, since there ain't nothing that is gonna stop it. As such, it would be nice to have U17, all worlds open to transfers (the 19 onto the 10, and the 10 amongst themselves), and the new hardware in place, all well before the "end of fall".

It'd be nice if things were up and running with the new hardware by my birthday(10/31), but as long as it's going to make things better all around, I'll try to be patient and wait.

Given how quickly the Gilrain transfers happened in comparison to Estel/Elendilmir I have a feeling things will speed up from now on. I think they got a lot of issues ironed out so it wouldn't surprise me if the servers are brought up for transfer at a faster rate.

Agreed. I did a total of ten transfers from Gilrain and was all done in about an hour - my transfers from Elendilmir were taking 2-3 hours each. It's been very smooth and painless for me, hopefully those leaving Riddermark later will have a similar experience.

I'm going to transfer my characters, I have 21 of them on Elendilmir. I'm going to Gladden, there I created the same 21 (2 had the name taken, so i created freeps with my 2 creep names) it all to save my names (did it before the transfer oppened).
So my questions is, the maximum number of slots is 36, when I transfer all of my characters I'll have in total 44, the 21 that are name holders and I'll delete (don't want to delete before or someone may get my names that I spent hours trying to do lore appropriate) and 21 that are my actual characters + 2 that have their names taken and I'll have to creat others.
In this case, the transfer will fail? I'll risk losing some character? Or same the number passing the maximum limit of character slots you can buy, they'll be all there, but the count that pass the slots I have will be red until I delete some?
My case is really confusing me, since I have too many toons..... someone help me please :(

Today is September 29th. Someone said Riddermark could start moving today. This morning, I did not see a note on the Launcher stating that Riddermark could begin their moves, like it was noted for the first two worlds a few weeks ago. So, can our Riddermark accounts beginning their transfers now or not?

I did something similar. I got several accounts and forgot to delete enough characters on the first one I moved. When I logged in on the new server I got a message telling me that I had to many characters and that I had to choose which ones to use. I had to choose the exact number at once, I could not choose two and pick the rest later.

And, sorry about this, but I'm not sure but I think I lost the ones I didn't choose but I'm not quite sure. Didn't think about it at the moment since those ones were not important and I didn't care that I lost them, I had just forgotten to delete them before moving. I could not buy more slots until after I had made the choice.

Don't know if this helps though :)

Ps, my kin were quite lucky since only a few names were actually taken. Many were old characters that hadn't been used and we got them. Out of my 29(?) characters I had to change two even though about 10 already existed.

Theyusually get turned on around 10am

So by now hopefully you can transfer

If you transfer more characters than you have slots available, the characters you do not choose to keep active do NOT get deleted. They remain on the new server in limbo until you delete an active character or acquire a new character slot.

Also more character slots were added to the store at the end of last week for those looking for more space.
