ALES & TALES (every Monday!)
Ales & Tales with The Lonely Mountain Band
(Mondays 8:30pm and the Main show at 9:30pm EST|servertime.)
Announcing the new weekly gathering hosted by Lonely Mountain Band kinship open to all RP'ers on Landroval.
"Ales & Tales" provides the setting, you provide the story.
Every Monday night 8:30pm EST the LMB will gather at a different location in Middle Earth; pubs, inns and occasionally places of notable lore. The time together is devoted to simple celebration of music, fine ale, tales and more... The location will be announced at various times prior to the gathering on this thread. This gathering is open to non-members or those who wish to inquire about kin membership or meet other kinships who attend, or just hear a merry tune or tale. Anyone may volunteer to tell a tale, sing a song, recite a new poem, anything you wish to share with others in an RP setting. Feel free to strike up conversation with other adventurers, plan your next quest over a pint of mead! Think of it as a travelling pub, a place to meet new friends and share heroic tales. "Ales & Tales" is an open-ended RP gathering that provides a weekly setting for RP'ers of Landroval to gather and share the lore of Tolkien's world, and find new friends to embark on quests.
"Ales & Tales" provides the setting, you provide the story.
Please send any questions or thoughts to Lhinnthel a /tell to perform in the Main show. All are welcome - we hope to see you there!

Popped in last night for a bit and it was good times! Sometimes I wish the Big E had more stuff like this. Good thing there's no law against popping in on other servers from time-to-time.

Another rousing success, this week!

It seemed a little cramped at first, with so many elves and humans in a pub built for hobbits...

...but then we took advantage of the Golden Perch's spectacular courtyard to enjoy the lovely evening!

Join us for the Last child of the storied wines of Ossiriand!
This week's ales & Tales will be hosted by Limael's Vinyard in Ered luin. The Vinyard is just North West of Celondim. Beware of the possible presence of looting Goblins in the area.
If you seek refreshment other than wine, please bring your own.

Re: ALES & TALES (every Monday!)
The date says the 11th which is the Sunday (today), so is it still Monday or is it Sunday, since tomorrow is the Canadian Turkey Day?

Re: ALES & TALES (every Monday!)
Thanks for the catch! Its Monday the 12th!!! You may bring Turkey if you are Canadian.

It's a little known fact, but "Dale" is actually a word used by the ancient Edain to mean "Canada."

This Monday we will have a Harvestmath fun-filled Ales and Tales at the Party Tree in Hobbiton! That's at 1030pm EST on Landroval server. Want to learn your hobbit dances to live music? Come on down!

That's me, faking my way through another group tune! I always end up talking to people while playing and accidentally jumping out of music mode!

Re: ALES & TALES (every Monday!)
I do the same thing - except my standard bonehead move is to hit my hotkey for "autorun" or the space bar. ;)

Re: ALES & TALES (every Monday!)
I'm going to remap space to another music note when next I play. I've been bit by this problem too many times!

Ales and Tales at the Duillond dancing area this week. We'll be having partner dance lessons as well as the normal music, stories, and social RP.

Re: ALES & TALES (every Monday!)
One of our best Ales and Tales yet! We had tales from Harperella, Alelneia, and Tarnoli. Harperella taught partner dances to those who knew /dance_man, /dance_elf, and /dance_elf2. Tamirien, Harperella, Rohanwood and Kaleigh all formed a 4 person dance from /dance_elf which was quite exquisite. Behold!

See you next week at Lin Giliath. Those poor elves need some cheering up! Also, there have been all these rumors out of Mirkwood of late...

God willing and the creeks don't rise, I should be at the next one . .

We'll have to get video next week at Lin Giliath.

Re: ALES & TALES (every Monday!)
Ales and Tales is tonight at 1030 EST in Lin Giliath! That's the half-ruined elf village, south of Gatson's farm in the North Downs.
We are coming up to the Rumors of Mirkwood event, so feel free to start passing gossip and rumors you've heard from the Elves in this Ales and Tales. Remember, not all rumors are true...

Re: ALES & TALES (every Monday!)
Oh, I hope I can make it tonight! I've entered it into my Google Calendar. :) It'll be my first Ales & Tales.

Re: ALES & TALES (every Monday!)
I forgot to mention... Lin Giliath is a mid to upper 20s area. If you are having trouble getting there, send a /tell to any of the following:
Ashenwoods, Ulfred, Meribuc, Harperella, Galenswerd
We'll get you set up with a hunter port.

Re: ALES & TALES (every Monday!)
Ales and Tales was a great success!
http://www.thesmipps.com/images/lotr...tales_lin2.jpg
Kayleigh treated us with a sad but beautiful poem, complete with combat skills to accompany the words. Omsi the dwarf gave us a fun little story of fireworks and pubs. He's the blur in the picture declaiming to the rest of us.
Master hobbit Keptwise, Macalaure and their musical troupe kept us supplied with big band music. Also of note were Fionualla and Arachas, playing some lovely duet pieces. Curulinde supplied us with some wonderful dance music as well.
We gathered up for some even larger group dancing this week, forming a circle of 8 dancers for a really lovely circle dance. It even brought out the Bog-Guardians to have a look!
http://www.thesmipps.com/images/lotr...tales_lin1.jpg
All in all, a lovely Ales and Tales!
-
Re: ALES & TALES (every Monday!)
Did someone put something in Arachas' ale?
http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x...nShot00041.jpg
And lets not forget Harperella's lovely freestyle music.
http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x...nShot00043.jpg
Now that's talent! :D

Re: ALES & TALES (every Monday!)
Thanks to the Lonely Mountain Band for hosting this event. I came to my first one last night and it was very enjoyable. I'm looking forward to the next one. :)
-
Re: ALES & TALES (every Monday!)
Hey, I can see myself sitting in there! :)
This was my first Ales & Tales too, and as I said to Harperella, it was more fun than I could have imagined (and I came in about an hour late!). I'm excited to attend the next one.
-
Re: ALES & TALES (every Monday!)
I think this was the most crowded I've ever seen Ales and Tales! And it seems like even more people were chatting and joking and interacting, too, which was nice. I hope the trend continues.
A quick note - due to some unforeseen difficulties, I ended up broke AND late for the party (brewing enough ale for a party like that is hard work!) and Ashenwoods was kind enough to port me to Esteldin. Thank you, Ashenwoods! And thank you, everyone who quested with me afterwards!
Sooo . . next week, Bird and Baby, was it? I had too much ale and my notes got a bit confused . .

Re: ALES & TALES (every Monday!)
I apologize for the failure to execute the song lyrics as I had intended for the 'Song of the Eldar in Exile'. Next time I'll roll the dice and try the windowed version of LOTRO. Last time I did that it messed up my UI, but it's been a few years so perhaps they fixed that.
-
Re: ALES & TALES (every Monday!)
I use windowed mode whenever I'm working on making drum parts and never have a problem. :)

Another trick is to create a lorebook page. You can open it ingame and cut and paste from that page. However, you can't close it--you'll lose your place and have to search for it again.

Re: ALES & TALES (every Monday!)
Suggestion: Always play in Windowed Mode not just for band/event nights and set your UI for that. That's what I do and I never have problems with having to reset my UI. You can have it almost your whole screen but still have access to your desktop.

Another Ales and Tales missed! Confound it all. I've been sick, I have an excuse.
But I miss you all :(
Next week I am going to be on a plane at that time. Aaaaugh! The week after. I swear!

I can already access my desktop with <alt-tab> while playing in full screen mode, but if I do that while playing music I can't hear it so it makes the timing a bit dicey. Do you play windowed mode while participating in raids? I'm a bit dubious about that, particularly as a minstrel.

It never runs well in windowed mode for me, personally, and I don't really know why. It doesn't work that well when I window in and out using alt+tab, either. Seems as though there is always a chance that the program will crash. Luckily I generally don't do anything that requires that I tab in and out of the program repeatedly.
Anyway, my point is that windowed mode seems dicey - I'm not sure if that's just my experience. I would never really trust it while in a instance/raid - I can't afford to have it lag, crash, skip, etc.

Yes, I raid in windowed mode too (as minstrel level 60 in Moria) and never had a problem due to windowed mode. Also, in order to hear when out of the window I just open up LOTRO Midi Player, and can hear discussion and any game sounds no matter what I do on the desktop. My rig is not the perfect high-end gaming machine either. Also play windowed on my laptop as well.
One thing I make sure to do religiously is a weekly defrag.

Re: ALES & TALES (every Monday!)
http://www.thesmipps.com/images/lotr...n_tales_md.jpg
This week Ales and Tales was at Michel Delving at the Bird and Baby. We had a great turnout, with Galenswerd, Harperella, Javelarry, Belindriel, Falibrand, Meribuc, Ashenwoods, Lyondardo, Omsi, Diamiond, Kaleigh, Keptwise, Macalaure, Tarnorili, and Grabesh in attendance. (Apologies if I missed anyone) Tarnorili told some jokes, Javelarry told the tale of a very hungry hobbit, and Lyonardo told a story of the big one that got away. Of course, there was plenty of ale to go around, and Old Winyards seemed quite popular with the crowd, as more and more drunken cheers to "Old Winyards!" periodically made the rounds.
We had some great music as well, with Keptwise, Macalaure, Omsi, Ashenwoods and Diamiond putting in great performances in the band, as well as solo pieces by Ashenwoods, Belindriel, Galenswerd, and Harperella.
Next week we have a Ales and Tales first--we will be meeting at the Prancing Pony! See you there!

Re: ALES & TALES (every Monday!)
Oh, sure, sure, forget only the best-looking Hobbit in attendance. The one whose handsome face and hairy feet had the girls swooning left and right. Oh wait, that was in the dream I had last night. I wondered why Pervinca Took...well, nevermind. One word: Winterberry Ale. Okay, that was two words, but you get my point. I think.
I certainly showed the boys in the band a few new licks on lute that they'd never seen before. (I spilt some Winterberry Ale on it and that was the only way I knew to get it off.)

Re: ALES & TALES (every Monday!)
Here's a sampling of what you might find at Ales and Tales. I've put the storyteller in bold...
Javelarry says, 'Hey I gotta tale!'
Tarnorili begins to smoke.
Galenswerd beckons to Lyonardo.
Omsi laughs at Javelarry.
Eleowen claps for Javelarry.
Galenswerd claps for Lyonardo.
Lyonardo says, 'Riddles an' jokes!'
Ashenwoods says, 'Thasssh some gooood Whine'
Tarnorili says, 'No one wants to follow such a fine act i can see.'
Grabesh giggles at Ashenwoods.
Javelarry says, 'Well this is the tale of the Golden Pie.'
Bowlin says, 'I would say you are lighting from the sky, or off the tip of a wizards staff.'
Niddlebo says, 'Its the piles...'
Kaleigh sits down.
Lyonardo begins to smoke with Javelarry.
Galenswerd begins to smoke with Javelarry.
Javelarry says, 'There once was a hobbit of the name of hubert.'
Eleowen says, 'Shh! Let him talk!'
Gamren sits with Omsi.
Eleowen sits by the fire.
Niddlebo nods to Bowlin
Gleorin has come online.
Javelarry says, 'He was my auntie's sisters brother father in-laws second cousin from down round Buckland'
Javelarry says, 'And he loved to eat!'
Macalaure smiles at the family list
Grabesh grabs a patch of floor, making sure her oversized ale-pouch doesn't get squished.
Omsi holds his head, "A who's what?"
Niddlebo says, 'Here Here!'
Diamiond snickers
Falibrand chuckles. "Us bucklanders sure do!
Ashenwoods says, 'I can see straight again...Where's Grabesh ?'
Falibrand has a little bite to eat.
Grabesh giggles uncontrollably at Ashenwoods.
Javelarry says, 'All hobbits love food of course, but Hubert had developed a very special talent.'
Engilbert begins to smoke.
Bowlin munches on some food.
Javelarry says, 'He could eat food with out chewing it!'
Tarnorili says, 'No mastication?! Crazy!'
Kaleigh 's eyes widen
Engilbert says, 'I got a brother like that'
Grabesh sits down.
Engilbert laughs.
Eleowen says, 'How did he do that?'
Javelarry says, 'See what he'd do is swallow some nails and rocks and things. Anything hard would do.'
Macalaure says, 'It is good to chew food, otherwise....'
Engilbert begins to smoke.
Javelarry says, 'Then after he ate, he kind of scrunched up his tummy a bit...'
Keptwise cheers at Sophronia.
Keptwise waves to Sophronia.
Javelarry says, 'And chewed it right there in his stomach.'
Sophronia waves to Keptwise.
Sophronia gives Keptwise a big hug.
Meribuc laughs.
Grabesh frowns. "But . . half the fun in food is chewin it . ."
Eleowen laughs.
Tarnorili says, 'Ha! Crazy hobbit.'
Engilbert says, 'My brother ain't do that!'
Sophronia thanks Keptwise heartily for his help!
Keptwise begins to smoke.
Diamiond hold her stomach sympathetically
Javelarry says, 'Now his neghbor was a farmer, by the name of Toktuk.'
Macalaure says, 'Are you sure he isn't part Turkey?'
Niddlebo cries and shakes his head in agreement with the biggun.
Eleowen giggles.
Javelarry says, 'Who was always growin the biggest vegetables around.'
Javelarry says, 'And Hubert was always right there, ready to eat when they got served up.'
Meribuc says, 'How big were they!?'
Sophronia drinks to Keptwise's health.
Javelarry says, 'And since he din't have to chew, he could eat more than any other hobbit.'
Keptwise begins to smoke.
Macalaure takes a drink.
Keptwise begins to smoke.
Omsi says, 'Not fair, that is!'
Tarnorili says, 'He should go in that pie eating race up on the hill sometime.'
Javelarry says, 'They were soooo big, that one squash housed a small family of hobbits.'
Grabesh hums. "Big ones, small ones, some as big as your head. . "
Eleowen gasps.
Meribuc says, 'That's BIG!'
Javelarry says, 'Me 4th cousins on my mothers sister-inlaw side.'
Tarnorili chuckles at Grabesh.
Grabesh says, 'Big as a house? Har!'
Kaleigh laughs
Eleowen says, 'Were they alright?'
Omsi takes off his hat.
Javelarry says, 'Well, one day a Biggun came to the village.'
Meribuc eyes widen
Javelarry says, 'He was one of these wizardy types, clad in brown.'
Tarnorili winks at Sophronia. Interesting.
Javelarry says, 'And Farmer Toktuk begged him for some seeds, that would make large enough vegetables to stave off Huberts apetite!'
Galenswerd begins to think this is a tall tale.
Eleowen sits down again.
Bowlin chuckles at Galenswerd.
Grabesh says, 'Him want to grow squashes BIGGUR then house?'
Meribuc laughs at Galenswerd.
Niddlebo says, 'So far it all seems plausible.'
Javelarry says, 'The wizard thought a bit, and gave the farmer a single golden seed.'
Engilbert says, 'Did he ask for a cow in trade?'
Diamiond giggles uncontrollably at Javelarry.
Javelarry says, 'Twas a pumpkin seed, of a golden luster and larger than any that had been seen in those parts.'
Engilbert says, 'I heard a story 'bout a giant once'
Engilbert grins
Ashenwoods says, 'I think this tale's a bit taller than Larry'
Falibrand says, 'Mmmm.. pumpkin....'
Falibrand has a little bite to eat.
Tarnorili smirks
Javelarry says, 'Well, the farmer bid him good day and planted the seed, and wouldn't you know it!'
Grabesh says, 'Ooooh. Can you imagine a pumkin pie big 'nuff to swim in?'
Sophronia sits with Tarnorili.
Meribuc says, 'They didn't get baked in a pie, I hope!'
Javelarry says, 'It grew a bigger pumpkin than any had ever seen!'
Javelarry says, 'Was bigger than the town hole in Michel Delving!'
Engilbert says, 'Did they make a waggon out o' it?'
Grabesh says, 'Probly smell'd bettur too!'
Falibrand grows faint thinkin' of the pies that would make....
Macalaure says, 'That is indeed a large pumpkin'
Javelarry says, 'And the farmer thought this would take care of Huberts hunger once and for all!'
Engilbert says, 'I heard 'bout a princess what rode in a pumpkin'
Javelarry says, 'And offered it to him as a gift.'
Falibrand says, 'I think yer listenin' to the wrong folk, Engilbert!'
Engilbert says, 'Mebbe I am'
Lyonardo grins.
Engilbert shrugs.
Javelarry says, 'Hubert quivered with delight at the sight of this enormous pumpkin!'
Harperella sits down.
Galenswerd takes a drink.
Niddlebo says, 'He said quivered...'
Galenswerd begins to smoke with Javelarry.
Meribuc says, 'Uh, no food there is, that can squelch the appetite of any proper Hobbit'
Javelarry says, 'And started in on it right away!'
Grabesh says, '. . eww? quivery fat hobbits . .'
Lyonardo laughs out loud at Niddlebo.
Omsi pulls a pipe from his bag and begins to smoke.
Falibrand says, 'Raw?!!'
Javelarry says, 'Carving off bits and roasting them up on a bonfire he made'
Falibrand shivers for a moment.
Falibrand says, 'Oh... that's ok, then.'
Javelarry says, 'And always eating eating eating!'
Omsi says, 'At least he had the common sense to roast it first.'
Macalaure sits down.
Grabesh says, 'Oooh! That sounds good.'
Niddlebo says, 'Youd think he would take that pumpkin pie north to chilled areas. It is best served chilled I have heard.'
Meribuc says, 'I'm hungry...'
Javelarry says, 'Eating the seeds whole! And his belly swelled and stretched and distended!'
Grabesh 's tummy rumbles.
Engilbert says, 'Me, too'

Ales and Tales
We had a great turnout for Ales and Tales last night. Here are a few of the characters who showed up:
Ashenwoods, Beacher, Olyver, Forthogar, Elwea, Jerett, Eleowen, Sophronia, Meadolarke, Lyonardo, Mordagan, Algrogo, Meribuc, Javelarry, Decatur, Tarnorili, Astleigh, Keptwise, Thored, Kayleigh, Sayenith, Kadren, Diamiond, Valararaein, Omsi, Saerwena, Eitheliell, Aralinne, Alerik, Mapleros, Haydyn, Sommer, Sammus, and apologies if I missed anyone!
First we had a tune from Omsi the Dwarf and a bit of dance. Master Keptwise and company put on some great dance tunes. Tarnolili told a dwarven joke (at the expense of the elves). Thored recited an ancient poem of Khazad Dum. Beacher told a fairy tale. Harperella recited a poem about the Silithar. Finally, we rounded out the night with a great rendition of the Breetown Blues and a round of hearty toasts!
In the end, we left the pub for some adventuring. Rochsul the captain had last ended up drunk at the top of the giant's needle. We all joined him in the Misty Mountains, then had to figure out how to get down again. Finally we all jumped. There was only one casualty--Omsi the dwarf. It seems that Thored had landed on his head.
Good luck in Mirkwood everyone, and next weeks Ales and Tales is in Gondamon!

Did you do something to those screenshots Val? They're really good looking.
Do the tweens back in The Shire know that Lyonardo was there dancing with Harp and all those other ladies?! Better not tell them, they'll be heart-broken. And if you're ever wondering what some bloke named 'Santa Clause' does in his spare time, just look at the stage. :)

Sounds excellent. I wonder if we can get enough for a raid party to defend Gondamon? It certainly is epic with that many free-peoples and scum on the battle field. (Mind you, it kills most player's FPS :()

I'm sure we could. Besides, I'll be there, which means no matter what happens it'll be epic. And probably hilarious, too ;)

Re: ALES & TALES (every Monday!)
Last Nights Ales and Tales started with a quaint Dwarven custom... the Booing.
http://www.thesmipps.com/images/lotro/booin.jpg
It seems that Thundergust and Thundershield have not made a very good impression on the Dwarves of Gondamon. They've let their forge fires die out and were drummed out of town by a crowd of angry dwarves, along with some Hobbits, Men and Elves who joined in for good measure.
But this strange local celebration did not deter from our weekly revels! Many were in attendence, including:
Grabesh, Kaleigh, Andeon, Diamiond, Keptwise, Heartia, Meadowlarke, Lyondardo, Pehn, Sophronia, Filbrand, Dactil, Omsi, Valaraein, Meribuc, Astleigh, Beradlas, Alelneia, Ersila, Holliwen, Algrogo, Valborg, Tinarian, Daffodilia, and Thored. Quite a turnout!
We had music by Keptwise and his merry band, as well as solo performances by Omsi and Harperella. Tarnorili regalled us with a tale about Legolas and a Hobbit. Followed by news from the Golden Wood by Valaraein. Bounder Meadowlarke told us a some tales of the Bounders of Buckland.
http://www.thesmipps.com/images/lotr...s_gondamon.jpg
Finally, Tarnorili led a game of smoking pipeweed, where contestants had to make various shapes with their pipeweed smoke.
http://www.thesmipps.com/images/lotr..._gondamon2.jpg
Andeon was first eliminated, followed by Meribuc. In the final round between Omsi and Valaraein, Val made a fatal mistep and blew a heart instead of a ring. Omsi was the winner!
http://www.thesmipps.com/images/lotr..._gondamon3.jpg
Our festivities finally faltered by a seige on the dwarven stronghold. A group of adventurers was gathered and a defense mounted to stop the invaders. Unfortunately, the invaders were many and fierce. A great host of goblins led by a Gorthorog and a Drake breached the defenses and sacked the city. Fortunately, they were unable to hold the town and Gondamon was retaken by the dwarves. I must say, its the worse mess we've yet left at an Ales and Tales. We were lucky the dwarves did not mount a second booing!
Thanks to all who showed up and shared your tales and music and fellowship. We look forward to seeing you next week in Celondim. We will be meeting at the docks and moving to the circle of statues just south of town. There is a chance that the Thunderbrothers may be up to some mischief again...

Various Shapes? Nay, there was only one shape that mattered, and that was the blowing of smoke rings! Poor Meri was streaks ahead but then got so keen on the weed that he started chain-smoking and knocked himself out of the competition! Well done to Omsi though, pipping pasty Val in the final. Omsi got the well deserved gift of a shiny coin for his fine effort.

Ha! you've got that right Harp. We were doing fine till they hit us in that big wave and most started panicking and hitting whoever they wanted. It provided an apt example that a team of skill adventurers does not make a skilled adventuring team! Nothing like a good pear-shaped adventure now and then though to keep folk grounded and on their toes!
Now i'd better go and start thinking about a tale for next week's gathering, wherever it will be...

Re: ALES & TALES (every Monday!)
This week we held our festivities in Celondim...
http://www.thesmipps.com/images/lotr...s_celondim.jpg
We had a very good turnout, with Sylrien, Sinmaldor, Dactil, Olalie, Sulruin, Nalla, Valaraein, Hoedown, Ulfhelmer, Lyonardo, Algrogo, Kaleigh, Ersila, Dinkum, Arbrior, Soledin, Witred, Theodran, Seleria, Astleigh, Diamiond, Keptwise, Beradlas, and Ashenwoods in a attendance. What a crowd! Keptwise, Witred, Ashenwoods, Diamiond, Astleigh, and Seleria provided some dance music for our company.
http://www.thesmipps.com/images/lotr..._celondim2.jpg
This was followed by more news from Mirkwood and Lothlorien from Laerminuial and a beautiful but sad song and poem by Sylrien.
http://www.thesmipps.com/images/lotr..._celondim3.jpg
Tarnorili confounded us with a number of very clever riddles. And Beradlas saved the day by making a wine run to Limael's Vineyard. Witred learned to play the harp, Beradlas the cowbell, and Meribuc the clarinet during our musical mentoring portion. At last, the night began to fall and we gathered for a couple of group dances before heading out to adventure.
http://www.thesmipps.com/images/lotr..._celondim4.jpg
This time, a fellowship was formed to plan the defenses of the Bruinen Gorge, should Rivendell ever be threatened by the enemy. Sadly, our strategy worked only up to a point. When two enormous trolls and an uruk general appeared on the scene, one of Elrond's sons sacrificed himself on the field of battle, thus winning the fight, but losing the battle. *sigh* Such a heroic, yet ultimately meaningless gesture.
Next week's Ales and Tales will be held in the Oak N Barrell, a Bounder-run establishment in Addernotch Homestead in the Shire. The Bounders have long been avid connoisseur's of both Ales and Tales and are sure to give us a hearty welcome at their pub. It is said they have one of the most extensive collection of different drinks in the Shire. We look forward to the opportunity to try them all!

The theme is; turn up! Rumour has it that there 'might' be a best-dressed contest, but i guess folk will just have to make an appearance to see if that's true or not. Of course, there's bound to lots of entertainment going on as it's at the Oak N Barrel; The Bounders of the Shire's very own Tavern. Should be a grand event.
Remember the time:
Ales & Tales with The Lonely Mountain Band
(Mondays 10:30pm-12am EST)
Announcing the new weekly gathering hosted by Lonely Mountain Band kinship open to all RP'ers on Landroval.
"Ales & Tales" provides the setting, you provide the story.
Just on the last Ales and Tales, there was a time early on in the evening after the event-proper had finished where some folk stayed around a little more and chatted and danced and had a jolly good time. In fact there was a time there where everyone present was dancing at once. I haven't seen that happen very often - if ever - before like that, it was a grand sight to be sure.
