Vengeance got Tier 2 Wound and Disease EMs done Monday night. This raid is a freaking blast and I encourage everyone to try it in some capacity.

Baleleaf and Dourbark are the trees in disease. There are three mammoths, Kavern, something, and something else in Wound but you could call it the Mammoth Gauntlet as that's basically what it is, Durin's Bane is the Fear boss, and Fur...yeah this isn't helpful, huh? is the poison boss.

Don't forget to denote challenge modes.

I'll be attempting the new raid next Friday. The new instances are fun and contain some awesome loot. Can't wait to experience what the raid has to offer.

Namaste has cleared Wound & Disease Tier 2 aswel few days ago.

Imo don't seperate by wings, but by the bosses names:

Mammoths (Kaveran, Dungarth, Vark) - Wound wing

Trees (Dourbark, Baleaf) - Disease wing

Frothmar (Big Helegrod type giant) - Acid/Poison wing

Durin's Bane (Balrog) - Fear Wing

Ivar (crypt keeper)

Gotheron

*edit just remembered the last mammoth's name was Vark

How about insead of colour coding them red/green, you just list the ones that the kin has completed and just leave the others out?

So like this:

According to the story behind it (iirc) Gortheron went around re summoning the 5 Gaunt people that are opposites to the wizards for his army or w/e. (ivar=radagast the brown as gandalf=gotheron)

*edit* oh and through a quest in enedwidth we summon Gotheron too, tho at the time he had only 200k :P

Vinyara tried Wound wing tonight, and I have to say...nothing says DOOM BE UPON YOU quite like an undead mammoth sauntering towards you while you're trapped at a gate.

Poison wing, disease wing and I don't know who the big giant guy with the platforms is, I think you mean Frothmar, T1 or T2? I need details, not trying to be a jerk, I just want to be accuarte. Just make new post please, I really don't look at old posts. Gratz on the kills, glad to see AG back in the mix.

Anyone have a problem if I just replace EM with HM as groups get HM kills?

Another thing, I really don't think we will have the issues that they have had on the Raid & Instance forums OD progression thread, they didn't even get to page 2 without drama, I won't have any drama in this thread. All the progression threads I have started have been mostly drama free and I credit that to being just an awesome server.

Anyone that starts drama, I will remove their group from the list. Anyone that retaliates to said drama, removed. Any rogue members of groups that starts drama, I expect them to be dealt with by their kin leader/raid leader I.E. boot their butt. If its just some random D-bag, I will deal with it with a moderator. Fair enough?

I am under the impression that both the trees and frothmar are bosses of the same poinson wing.

The trees are considered disease and Frothmar is poison. I could be completely wrong though.

This is right. I think the confusion might come from Poison wing being directly connected to the Disease wing, if you go through the gate from the Tree bosses' room.

Lords of the West finished the Fear Wing in tier 1 tonight..this one looks like it will be crazy in tier 2. :)

Fear wing definately looks like it has the coolest atmosphere, gratz.

I believe that is correct. The locks are tied to the bosses, not the tiers. Although I've never tried it myself, if you look at your raid locks panel, it still only shows the boss, not the tier. I'd assume it works like the BG hardmodes did in BG.

3rd April - Wound Wing tier 2.

Vengeance downed Disease HM tier 2. I'm not gonna post a screenie, but if it's needed, I'm sure someone grabbed one.

Last night, Lords of the West got Poison wing T1 down.

I think we are updated, gratz all!!!

It's great to see so many groups taking this thing on. Grats to everyone that's downed anything in tier 2 - they're challenging fights.

Turbine hit a home run with this raid, IMO - I was a BG fan (though most people weren't), but this new raid could be the best thing that Turbine's put out yet.

I agree, Turbine hit a home run in the bottom of the ninth with not only the raid, but the 3 and 6 mans. I mean that like it sounds, if this raid failed I think they would have lost most if not all of the raiders in this game. My only complaint is the amount of medallions you need for armour, an unnecessary addition IMO. 1800 for a full set and 3600 for 2? ridiculous, but I'll deal with it.

I wasn't a huge fan of BG, there were fun parts, but too much trash and too much luck involved.

I think the medallion system was brought in so more "hardcore" players that end up farming the raid can't just faceroll in 57 alts 'a piece and get full sets in 1 run. Now you have to play the toon in order to loot it means you've actually had to extensively play the toon through pretty much every piece of content multiple times, therefore seemingly more deserving toons (alts or mains) will have the gear, assuming it's worth equipping which is another story.

Agreed very good raid indeed. Though ppl are still learning it and getting it down it takes a while. The thing I like is that when it's all said and done the raid will go rather quickly compared to previous raids, because there isn't as much trash. When said raid groups get the instance down and are farming it that is. Though I do like how the trash pulls aren't quite as mundane as they have been in the past. I like the focus on the bosses more. After all aren't you suppose to ultimately prove yourself by taking down the bosses and not grinding through trash to get there?

He's tall, bony, and a bit lonely. Enjoys long walks in the crypt and hopes to one day rule the world. Most of the gaunt think he's haunt, but really he's quite sensitive underneath that hard, bony shell.
