Ok since flank made a 1v1 list I figured I will as well. THESE ARE ONLY PEOPLE I HAVE PERSONALLY FOUGHT
Minstrel- Falrendir
Champ- Cramer...Turine is now prob the only good 1v1 champ on server (sometimes at least)
Lm- Frizle/tinechor
Burg- Sandbagger--- Wrecked on burg (didn't ever actually fight him...just got ganked by him) governemnt is the only one I've had a competitive 1v1 with recently on reaver so props for that!
Guard- Grass---was always able to give me a crazy competitive fight on reaver pre SoM
Cap- Never got the chance to 1v1 a captain I thought was great
Hnt- Glorduin I guess...never had a 1v1 with a competitive hnt...he was the only who had good moves
RK - Askir---It is obvious why ------Also Anc back when He played...could never beat his RK....I think ruull is pretty good as well
Warden- Wishbone
BA- I've fought rash and he did decent...and I fought arrowzs and he did good but makes a bunch of silly rules to make it so he can win...No outstanding ba I've fought 1v1.
Weaver- Webspittle
Reaver- Guwano is the only reaver I can say did outstanding 1v1
Warg- Playful owned me every time------Also Despawn managed to wreck me without using cd's or pots most of the time
WL- 1v1...some dude back in SoA who was r6 and had ./rp on...forgot there name but only WL who ever actually fought me!
Defiler- None I've actually fought "1v1"

Lms: none - still need to learn how to give/drain power, throw heal, fire/wind lore and SI effectively on a regular basis in addition to dpsing and cc'ing - only LM's I've seen who do all this or most of are Chaven and Acamar
Burg: Government (solo/gank/wtfpwned) and Elttercs - stays around after hips for the kill and addle bag is ridiculous
Guard: Ashendoon and Panvoryn - only active ones who play like guards - none use engage as a slow so -rep for all (grass and grimsom not active)
Cappy: Lithium and Tarfelion - no more needs to be said
Hunter: None - only hunters that have set themselves apart from the rest are Valthirus and Shadarrow and regard both as inactive, rest aren't really worth mentioning as I've yet to see them do anything that the average hunter can't do
Rk: Askir, when he plays - others to be noted; glaborin, cannot, ruull, badjestic and kippers should never be left alone to dps

Weaver: Spittz - no more needs to be said
Reaver: Swordmonkey & Rigs - both hit like trucks (re: DR, personally like to see it used to get points, however nothing wrong with depriving points from people who don't deserve them, all very situational)
Warg: Sniffle - knows ins and outs and remembers how wargs were taught to play
BA: Arrowsz - uses landscape extremely effectively and only BA I've seen who does well in 1vs1's
Defiler: High ranks aren't active so out of all the rank 7's probably Glordoom

There have not been a set of freeps that have taken them in an arranged 6v6.
That being said, Freeps are disqualified.

Oh, you mean when creeps were completely overpowered at the end of Shadows of Angmar? I seem to remember the only 1v1 I ever lost on my war leader was to a champion. Killing every other class was cake. Now if I tried a fight on my war leader, I would probably lose to a guard, champ, warden, or burg that played their class half as well. Creeps had 2x the morale freeps had, way better mitigations, and freep dps was nothing compared to what it is now. Seems kind of hard to lose a fight with odds stacked in your favor like that. If they still existed now they wouldn't dare take a 6v6. So much has changed since then and from what the past has shown, the ones that are left play the side that has the advantage. Just wait till Isengard when you see their wargs come back out because they will have a 7 minute cool-down on Disappear.Quote:

Creep mits and all were way better in comparison before freep dps/crits got such a huge boost but I would say creeps still had a disadvantage. Typically when I saw creeps rolling freeps it had a lot to do with mass WL rezzes or certain tactics...
I'm not using it as proof. I am using it as an example. Burgs were good against anything that couldn't heal. Fighting a wl or defiler and they were out of power about halfway through your morale and all you had to do was auto attack and heal. But in a small group fight like a 6v6 they were useless other than making a green fellowship maneuver. No five second addle and pots and Snap out of It were pretty much used to stop their CC and when Lockdown came in to existence, the greying out of BA's with Enrage had already been taken out of the game.Quote:

For the 6vs6 against Lockdown peeps; the freeps chose their friends who weren't the best. Many times the people they brought hadn't even been to the Moors for quite awhile or simply weren't up to par. They just picked a handful of people who they liked even though they never played together out in the Moors. I remember them doing some pretty awful tactics because that..
I'd still be willing to do a 6vs6 and on creepside. Yes freeps should win, but they'd likely find a way to lose.

and hybrid setup is not to increase dps at all, its for the fast wound cure, without the fast cure you can be set back enough by a few creeps to never get it off in time; also hybrid allows you to pick up extra morale, which I always needed alot of cause I was getting focused a-lot. You will also find that you dont need the extra fire lore, because all the melee have already chickened out and ran to the back by the time the 30 secs is up, and you can just throw tar to ruin their day anyway. ancient craft is nice, but likely your target is gonna be dead or outta range before the 30sec if off anyhow, and it has too small of a range (10m) and radius to be very effective in pvp anyway, also it doesn't do a whole lot to creep armor anyways because their values are much higher than pve mobs and the skill is set to be used in pve..... i.e. it will give ya ~10% against a t2 raid boss, vs 3-5% against a creep.
Also you will find that 30% isnt always 30% in turbine's book. just like 20% isnt 20% and -15% isnt -15%.

~1700 armour value takes (roughly) -10% mitigation across the board for creeps (westerness, beleriand, fire, etc). You can literally look at the actual % yourself, you don't have to estimate using half #### parsers like in PvE land. Traited ancient master capstone, the ancient craft is ~2700 armour value and lasts a minute. Thats closer to a -15% mitigation to ALL damage for a whole minute. It makes quick switches when focus firing targets crazy more effective.
^^ And 10m range isn't that much. If something is focus fired by creeps, they're probably all in the same area, or at least the melee. Sounds like a good time to use it!
On my warg, claws typically does 277 shadow damage. With fire-lore on me, it was only at 194 shadow damage. 194/277 = 70% What do you know, that means fire-lore reduced my warg's melee damage by 30%; odd how skills work vs creeps

the capstone for ancient master doesn't change the debuff value only the duration, its still -1755 armor. Only value it changes is SoP:SaE.Quote:
