Hello Community,

Here is our server's progression thread. Hoping to see more kins in ToO than past Dungeon raids. This is for the new Raid: Tower of Orthanc launched 12/12/2011.

Opening Week: 12/12/2011 - 12/14/2011
Week of: Always denoted as the date of that week's lock start date (Thursdays)

When you reply, please include Tier, Wing and whether challenge. If you like, you can include number of players. Since this is a weekly lock, please include the week lock date it happened on (they are Thursdays).

Helm's Deep was able to complete the following wings on 14 December:

Gratz HD. I put it down as Opening Week since locks reset tomorrow and that will be Week of 12/15.

Glad to see folks in there already. The Inks spent about 4 hours in ToO T2 CM on Monday night in first 3 wings. Tons of fun!

we toiled around in there on the lightning wing. got troll boss down to 300k then it seemed to spaz out a little bit. 7 crashers during the wing as well. not sure the majority of our kin is chomping at the bit to go back in and waste more time...but grats to HD and section 9 (sect 9 did some of tier 1)

aussies were on saruman last night, went to bed before they completed so not sure on how it ended. they cleared the rest on tier 1 this weeks locks.

Gonna have to post in this forum since you guys seem furthest towards t1 Saruman completion... how are you doing on phase 5? If we stick it clean we get to phase 5 with no casualties, everyone all full morale and power with all cooldowns up. But once phase 5 begins its all out hell. Usually 2-3 people die immediately, and the rest of the group falls apart like a trainwreck. Can you let me know what you guys are trying? You can PM it to me if you want.

What we are trying: Bunch up on shadow and venom, 2 guards aggro everything and then we scatter to lessen the burst aoe tactical. All cooldowns burned at this point (Fellowship's heart, Triumphant Spirit, Pledge, etc). Couple of problems we have is that we get a purple cloud immediately on the group and big tactical aoes just annihilate the squishies. Before we can even get a chance to scatter we have dead fellows. We separate the two shadows so that they cannot heal each other, but they seem to resist being separated as well. It's painful because it takes so long to get to phase 5 and the eyerape from the previous phases and anxiety is getting to us. Have you guys gotten this far? Any tips?

Yes, the kinnie who was doing the invites forgot he had pugged two wings before right on the first time we tried it as a kin.

Don't believe that Telc has done Shadow t2c (Telc would be Telcontari, yep.) Although they are too mysterious for anyone to really know what they've done!

We've killed the first giant in time with 2 Burgs before, can probably do it. Oddly enough it was killing the Grims that was hardest for us.
