A1 HoarseDev – We are removing Dread from defeat on landscape. #LOTRO
A1 RockX – In U10, Fate’s potency is increasing. Power pools are being standardized. #LOTRO
A1 RockX -Both the new instances/raids and existing Scaling Instances are receiving new loot. #LOTRO
A1 RockX -New Armour Sets are coming in, along with 1 st Age LIs. #LOTRO
A1 RockX - Wardens are being switched to use Agility as their main stat (there will be a grace period to allow you to get gear). #LOTRO

Q11 Zalladi - Will Galuhad's Kinship proposal ever be considered? #LOTRO
A11 HoarseDev – That’s a tall order (and a great proposal). Kins need a lot of work. Presently, that work sits behind the class work and housing. #LOTRO

A12 Sapience- Performance tuning is an ongoing process. It’s something we work on with every patch and update. It’s a difficult problem with no simple solutions. #LOTRO

Q13 Aelonaith - Will we have our faction rep mounts appearance for use as warsteed cosmetics? #LOTRO
A13 Aubergine - At this time, there is no plan to re-visit rep mounts as war-steed cosmetics. #LOTRO

A 14 Sapience, I spoke with our Art director, here’s what he said… #LOTRO
A14 Tinkering with avatars can be risky. Players become very attached to the ‘look and feel’ of their character. #LOTRO
A14 It’s very personal. That said, we are discussing the best way to make upgrades and changes. #LOTRO
A14 We’ll be very interested in player feedback and suggestions as to how to go about making such dramatic changes. #LOTRO

Q15 Aardnebby - Any idea when the destiny point perks replacement we were promised will be implemented?
A15 HoarseDev – This hasn’t been forgotten. We’re trying to get these back in a good integrated spot rather than slapping them back in somewhere clunky.

Q16 Nindolvoth - Are the beard shaving and beardless legolas sapience community update videos still in the works? #LOTRO
A16 Sapience – Yes! At least the Legolas beardless one. Turns out making the shaving one was more challenging than I expected. #LOTRO

Q17 @RJferret - What's the reasoning of effectively removing player interrupt skills from the game?
A17 RockX we standardized the times to make it more of a mechanic to react to an event, instead of just allowing constant spam. Now it requires an active decision.

Q18 @bhoristhespider Will Update 10 include a new epic book?
A18 Eldorudo – Update 10 will not include a new epic book, but there is a super sized epic being worked on for Update 11!

Q19 @lotrofollower - What can we expect for loot in older scaling instances in the future?
A19 RockX Older scaling instances can expect to see their loot revamped.
A19 with the oportunity to get rare through legendary gear.

Q20 @blackpuddings How about seasonal changes in the homesteads?
A20 AngryKoala It's something we'd like to do in both homesteads and major towns, but we'll have to see.

Q21 @cithryth - Are there new mounted combat thigns on the horizon?
A21 Eldorudo We're looking at some exciting things for the new region. We have some tricks up our sleves.

Q22 @blitzfactor - Will we ever get an option to change race?

A26 Eldorudo It will be comparable in size to Great River. It will support mounted and unmounted combat.

A31 RockX We wanted to reserve major rewards for completing an instance.
A31 It also lets us standardize how these things are earned.

A33 Aubergine It will not be in the store. It will be a free option for all players.

Q34 @GuildofShadows There is a lot of talk about balance on the moors. Are you currently looking into this for better balance between sides?
A34 Hoarsedev there's always a lot of talk about balance in the moors.
A34 it is built to shift back and forth.
A34 Next month we'll bring a Pvp dev to talk more about it.

Q35 @DaniAngione How many people from the art team hide in the restroom to doodle possible looks for Minas Tirith?
A35 Sapience 2 people just said 7. So we'll go with that.

A36 Hoarsedev With upcoming class changes ALL CLASSES will have some difficult choices.

Thank you! This is a question I've been wanting to see an answer to for a very long time. Please please please get to it sooner rather than later HoarseDev :D

Back to agility????????? This is a joke right??????

Nice to see that agility is going to be the new main/secondary stat for dd wardens. But still a disadvantage over most of the other classes that only have one major stat to look for, because it gives the most important bonuses.

Minstrels: Will (Heal, and tactical mastery)
Lore-master: Will (Heal, and tactical mastery)
Runekeeper: Will (Heal, and tactical mastery)
Champions: Might (Damage and physical mitigation)
Captains: Might (Heal, and tactical mastery)
Burglar: Agility (Physical mastery and crit)
Hunter: Agility (Physical mastery and crit)

I'm not totally sure, but maybe adding physical mastery to vitality and a morale debuff on damage stances could balance a change to one major stat.
The only thing wardens and guardians had to look for is setbonuses and crit/or BPE ratings like the other classes.

When will we see letter from Kate Paiz?

I'd still love to hear if you're going to do anything about the horrible lag in Ettenmoors. 10-30 sec skill lag in a 40 vs 40-fight is not acceptable.
You should have a talk with CCP and learn from them and how they handled their lag in EVE-online.

There's still only 1 main stat for whatever role per class. For DPS Wardens, it was split up between Might for melee damage and Agility for Ranged. Seems like it's nice to have Agility for both now, since it also gives Crit. And when you're DPS traited, morale/mitigations/block/parry aren't the main focus.

It remains to be seen if armour sets that give primary Vitality stats will remain with Might as a secondary. Hopefully yes.

CCP spent years and a lot of money designing and re-designing a very specifically optimized solution to handle the two relatively unique problems they had to deal with: having everyone in one "world", and having multi-system conflicts involving thousands of people without breaking things elsewhere in the galaxy.

It's not likely that much could be shared, even if CCP was willing to divulge their secrets.

We also don't know what will happen with the Fate changes, the upcoming (apparently major and widespread) class changes, and anything else that creeps in between those updates. One Stat to Rule Them All (and some Vitality) might not make sense a year from now.

What is meant by grace period? Does it mean the switch will be flipped in about a week or two after update 10?

Interesting. Wardens to Agility, does that mean there is coming more ranged combat for Wardens? Wardens are melee!

Wardens to agility? so all the tanking armour sets, jewellery etc. will be useless for wardens since it has might. This will be a total fiasco forcing everyone that plays the class to totally regear and there will have to be a whole new set of tanking jewellery added just for wardens.

Hmm note: Never group with other burglars, hunters AND wardens after this update to ensure i get the agi loot :p

Well i hope the new epic book coming out in U11 will be amazing.

I am very concerned about the warden Main stat change. 1) Will we be reimbursed TP for the might tomes we bought from the store. 2) Will the hytbold armor be converted automatically or refunded? 3) What about all the skraid jewelry. 4) What about LI legacy tomes? It seems rather harsh to put this all on the onus of the player for a change you are pushing on us.

Lots of good stuff in that chat .

Im looking forward to people having to specialise inside their class , currently it's a homogeneous mess . The warden change is a bit scarey as they may well just end up even more powerful than they already are and they have unbalanced the world .
Housing upgrade will be good
Kin upgrade will be good -
Being able to turn off those damn emotes will be wonderful .
Will we also be able to turn of cosmetics like it is in the moors ( I hope so ).
Making destiny points useful again is great
Removing dread from landscape seems a bad idea -feels like dumbing down again and its already got a lot easier .
Fate was underpowered compared to other stats - glad this is being fixed
Wont talk about the class changes till they give us an idea of what they will be but I hope they make classes other than wardens useful again - im getting really bored playing a warden and would love o play my main classes again .

Please be more specific! What exactly do you mean with "all the jewelry" that were especially added for wardens that doesn't have the same stats like every other tanking items for guardians? I'm not sure if there is a lot of them.
Even if you had some items with agility, did you really need those few extra points to evade?
For me, the benifits of having only one stat for both dps roles to look for, are greater than to be forced to change 1 or 2 items.

Might still contributes the same way as of now. They only change gear thats designed for the secondary role, which means melee or ranged dps.

So as a Warden you have to convince people to roll on agility gear, while ambitious guardians are in competition with captains and champions, which is not easy at all since they tend to get very angry when someone tries to steal their precious... :rolleyes:

Anyway. With this update, every Major stat seems to have 3 potential classes.

Might (Guardian, Champion, Captain)
Will (Runekeeper, Lore-master, Minstrel)
Agility (Warden, Hunter, Burglar)
Vitality (Guardian, Warden & maybe a blue Champion)

And 2 of them will be forced to be the greedy ones. :P

Anyway. With this update, every Major stat seems to have 3 potential classes.

Might (Guardian, Champion, Captain)
Will (Runekeeper, Lore-master, Minstrel)
Agility (Warden, Hunter, Burglar)
Vitality (Guardian, Warden & maybe a blue Champion)

And 2 of them will be forced to be the greedy ones. :P

Presumably, class-specific rewards will be rebalanced along with the change. Anything not Warden Only will probably stay as-is, unless other classes also change enough to warrant a more widespread adjustment.

You can be assured there will be no TP reimbursement, though. Technically, all stats are supposed to have value to all classes, even if that doesn't actually work out in reality.

Mybe might will still contribute the same amount of physical mastery than before. Then the problems with old stattomes and relics wouldn't be that big, whereas being able to use two stat tomes (~ +160) to improve dps is a bit imbalanced.

I would imagine actual Warden set gear, shields, and medium armor items will have their stats converted to Agility. and that jewelry and pocket items are what will need to be replaced. I expect they are trying to simplify gear itemization, so they would want Warden gear to be more interchangeable with Hunter gear, this might mean that totally new warden items for tanking might not be needed and instead certain stats would convert to warden stats, possibly based on stance.

Probably the biggest issue as mentioned by another poster will be fro anyone who has invested in might tomes and how that will be handled.

Only during the grace period. After that Agility will give the warden Phy Mastery/TM. Might will still be the source of block/phy mit. so again the warden will be pulled between 3 stats while guards will only have 2. The Devs now think we are avoidance tanks after telling us before we were not avoidance tanks but self mitigating tanks. Now we will still be bound to the avoidance caps (block caps ~12k yet i can buff myself to 19k) while losing phy mitigation with the stat switching from might to agil.

They already answered questions about lag and performance in the past. The answer was always "We are working on it." and "Its complicated.".

A more or less honest and satisfying answer probaply would be something like:
"We don't know how to solve the problems within our possibilities."
But you can't blame them that they don't say things like that. (not really...)

So the only way to deal with this problem is don't ask what turbine can do for you: ask what you can do for turbine. :rolleyes:

It was good to see that they were familiar with it at least. Good session overall.

As I'm sure has been mentioned elsewhere the very well drafted survey (http://turbine.a1a3776f1279.sgizmo.com/s3?m=D0532) offers players an opportunity to state their preference on several levels. Perhaps the results of that will bump kinship revision up a notch or two.

Although it may make more sense for socially driven players to improve community first and tweak classes second, that survey allows folks to express their priorities. I was encouraged by its quality.

I guess I am finding it hard to understand why there is this incessant need and/or craving to change the classes every year. It seems that there is so much time spent on these "class changes", that other aspects of this game that would be viable (not to mention welcomed) get put on the back burner or taken off of the stove completely.

Quite frankly, instead of changing classes that really had no issues in the first place all the time, I'd rather you put more content into the game, and or fix what is already there that is broken (in a timely fashion). I.E. A new PvP map that will never happen, more endgame content (also released in a much more consistent manner), more polishing of content that is released (I'm OCD about it, but if you put a door in the game, I should be allowed to open it. It doesn't matter if there is nothing inside to see of interest. Otherwise, why even put the cosmetic up?), a Kinship revamp that I will be shocked to see.. if we get it at all... ever, Housing (I am not holding my breath on this either), actual dynamic player events (Warbands are not dynamic events, those are static spawns that pop up on open landscape), and what ever of the 1000's of other suggestions that have been made by several players just on the forums alone.

As a side note, when I said more endgame content, I meant original endgame content. Not endgame content that got scaled and had new loot thrown in. While it is fun sometimes to go and visit old content that you haven't seen or visited in a couple of years, that is not "new endgame". That is old refurbished endgame. That is more of the "same-ol, same-ol".

Regardless, I'll learn the class changes like I have in the past. It doesn't really bother me to tell the truth, I just do not see why so much time is spent developing these changes and what effects they will have when there was nothing really wrong in the first place. As opposed to developing more content or fixing what is already there, that is.

There were some interesting tidbits in that. I appreciate the devs/CM's holding the chat and for posting a transcript as well.

I was especially pleased to see that we might have a new community site soon, since having forums work as they used to would be lovely.

And on the off chance that the right dev(s) might be browsing the thread for varied reactions, I'll just say that it would be nice to see the class revamps and future content tilt back to having some craft and guile needed in group tactics again, shifting away from what I see as the prevalent "DPS is everything" mentality we've had for quite a while now. Brute force and blitzing instances has gotten boring, to boot.

My main is a burglar, and I miss when being able to debuff mattered (and I had the skills to do so, which is a related issue). I rarely go to the Moors, so PVE is my main focus in the game. I'd like to feel like my class had more value to offer the group than beating up on a single target, as I did before. After all, if I had simply wanted to play what was mainly a melee DPS character, I would have been a champion.

An axis to the head that is usable would be nice, and this doesn't require a complete overhaul. Being able to target something and your head faces it. It should be able to look up and down and left and right relative to where their body is facing. Looks good for RPing and just for overall immersion.

Revisions of the screams would be nice too.

Also perhaps revising the body itself. On men they look too thin at the waist no matter what size they seem to have hour glass figures XD

Why not fix warden's JoDF or other bugs that have been around forever such as cappy "jump" rez, wl/cappy bug in moors, DF bugging out bosses in pve...

i'm not sure if that is also a good idea. i got really attached to my warden and really mastered all my fighting styles with it. my opinion is to just leave it as it is.

completely agree with that sentiment.
It is nice that each class is viable in a dps role now (especially when soloing), but for group content, most of the newer instances and raid focus more on the "tank and spank" scheme of things. It would be nice to give the support classes both the capability and the need to actually support again, in the future.

My main is a Lore-Master, and while my debuffs are still appreciated in raids, they are mostly pointless in 3 and 6 man content, and my massive arsenal of crowd-control is rarely used (its usually easier to simply AoE stuff down, then play carefully with mezzed or rooted mobs).

My girldfriends burglar is in a similar situation: while still more then welcome in raids, she is now appreciated for her single-target DPS, while in the past she was taken along for back-up crowd-control, offensive debuffs and fellowship maneuvers..

I'm very glad to see that big class revamps are coming, because the same gameplay over and over again isn't really motivating

My thoughts always were, there are 3 major revamps that needs to be taken for lotro. Those revamps are Housing,Kinship, and avatar updates. They are not of course a must have since all these play second role, but for sure would be able to give a fresh air on the gameplay and mostly on Middle Earth life! So, very glad that 2 of the 3 are being looked at. :)

I never experienced lag issues apart from some skirmish raids. But i have a lot crash problems. guys i know you are working of it. Would be foolish if not but still as we all understand the bottom line is how playable the game will be..I am afraid that no matter how good intentions for a solution there are ,this one is about results....

Update 10 seems to bring a new air and there is a very interesting idea to what we can expect on U11. i would love to see more questions about that however since we dont know much as well of course for the future expansion. Not even one question why ? :P

Looking forward to one letter that's being promised. And hope all to go for the better.

You are mistaken about the Hytbold armour sets which will, according to a blue name, be revised to reflect the change in primary stat. Read the relevant thread on the warden forums.

I think your answer is "To make future Itemization and class changes easier to plan and implement." What doesn't seem broken to you might be a major headache to Turbine devs every time they try to look at the next-step, gear-set, etc, the timing of the change before class revisions implies cross-class items and larger plans afoot.

I hope this grace period idea includes some way for Wardens to trade current gear for an Agility version, but I don't have a high enough Warden to actually care. I say get ye to Bullroarer to find out and DON'T PANIC.

Couple of observations after reading the transcript:

1. Great to see the developers interacting with the community like this - more please :)

2. Also great to see that some of the oft-requested areas are being worked on, or at least considered anyway, i.e. housing and kinships. Obviously not everyone is into housing (or kins for that matter) but a lot of players are as can be seen from the number of related threads in the suggestions forum - kudos to the development team.

3. Looking forward (with some trepidation) to the upcoming class changes. My main is a burg and the class is in sore need of some rebalancing love (see the burg forums to see what I mean), so fingers crossed that these changes will make the less-used stances more viable again and return burgs to their original CC/debuff role rather than the fellowship member that uses Reveal Weakness.

4. I don't play a warden but I imagine the change to agility might annoy some players who do, burgs went through the same changes (combo of vitality, might and agility to just agility) around ROI time and it took some getting used to and a lot of gear switching. I assume the rationale is balancing of raid loot between the various classes rather than a change for changes sake.

5. Not sure about the removal of the dread penalty, it's hardly a big deal as it. Plus the cooldown gives you a chance for a loo-break or time to roll a smoke ;)

For Instances that have not yet been scaled, you are still going to have to roll (for some stuff) or keep doing what you have before - buy it from the specialized Barter NPC with the specialized coins. I would bet that people talking about 'competing' are speaking of end-game stuff anyway and that will all be auto-loot. Again, the armour sets (like the DG stuff and soon I would guess OD stuff) went right into the Skirmish Camp. You are not competing with anyone there.

You're absolutely correct, but we'll still have some people who will see another class get a teal item and mistakenly think that it kept them from getting one as well. :)

(Although as long as skirmish raids continue to dole out loot in the old manner, there will still be a bit of rolling against others to be done.)

I noticed it was stated that the new landmass is coming in update 11, and will be comparative in size to the Great River. I assume this must be the area where that new bridge is leading south from the great River, and not western Rohan? I would expect West Rohan to be much bigger than that.

Please, please prioritize scaling Uru & CD, especially CD. They are outstanding content, in many respects equal or better to current end game. And it would make farming for level 45 class items into something engaging rather than a trivial chore as at present.

I know this is not everyones priority, but I'm not happy about the horses. Some of us have worked hard to get Rep horses. When the warsteed was announced, they said that Rep steeds would be represented, just like store bought. To hear them say that making Rep steed cosmetics not even a thought feels like a kick to the nads. Its like they add the Rep system and then tell those if us that have worked on it, so sorry but all that work you did means nothing. I'm proud if the effort ive put into repping my characters. Id like to have what was mentioned, my Rep skins,please.

On top of that the steed colours don't even match the colours on the storebought steeds. Ever try the black body for the steed of night? Looks more grey.

I am encouraged about housing and forced emotes, and nervious about yge class changes. I have to ask why are yet more class changes needed. I know my roommate is not happy about the talked about changes to wardens. And I'm not sure what they mean about sacrificing spoken about. I like my characters andjust not sure why they blneed changing

Ever since the introduction of warsteeds, reputation mount value was basically castrated.

It used to be that rep mounts gave two distinct advantages to make the ultra-grind for them worthwhile, on top of cosmetic interest: health and speed. Both are lost completely to warsteeds so for regular land traversal even outside Rohan, you're better off using your warsteed.

These days I tell people that (1) the only reputation mount ever worth getting is the Thorin's Hall goat, and (2) the only other reputation items worth getting pre-RoI are the travel ports.

What Turbine should do since they don't want to allow in-game earned rep mount count towards warsteeds is to simply upgrade the base reputation mounts in both speed and health so they'd at least be useful for travel again. The defining feature of warsteeds should be the combat skills.


As for the class revamp hints, what I worry about in the "difficult decisions" phrase is Turbine pulling something stupid and making class trait tree-based or something like how it is with warsteeds. LotRO's free-form trait system allows PLAYER CHOICE. Player choice trumps all. Their phrase, to me, hints at dampening player choice towards more min-max and railroaded character builds while everything else will likely end up far more gimped than necessary. I like my 2/2/3 build, thanks.

Ive been playing MMOs since EQ first came out and if you didn't already know there is no such thing as a static class they are always changing, weather you agree with the changes or not. While I agree rep steed cosmetics (especially the meta-deed steed cosmetics) should be made available as war steed cosmetics, there's no need to change the mechanics of rep or meta-steeds. Post-war steed, yes, they are useless. If your character has a war steed, it doesn't need a better travel steed. Pre-war steed, they are as useful as they ever were. No need to change them.

Nothing? You still get the rep/meta mount, exactly what you got before. For a pre-Rohan character, a rep mount is still better than a Hengstacer mount or a promotional mount or a festival mount, and a meta-mount (e.g., the Elf Ambassador's steed) is still better than a regular rep mount.

You're missing a key factor here: effort/reward ratio. Under normal circumstances, the additional grind to reach kindred is absolutely not worth it for rep mounts with the exception of the Thorin's Hall goat because that's usable everywhere, notably Moria (and you can get and use it right away in Moria instead of grinding the Moria factions). The meta mounts are pretty "whatever" to me and seem to get the bounce bug much more often and worse than regular rep mounts.

If you have a pile of gold and want to buy your way to kindred, that's one way to do it, but that doesn't work for barter mounts like the Lothlorien white steed.

Then my other suggestion is to simply make the "old world" reputation mounts easier to earn and cheaper. Like at Ally and 2g. As they stand now, in terms of effort/reward, they're not worth it. Anyone is better off "grinding" for the festival steeds that have 200 morale in terms of ease (though of course Turbine is well on its way to nerf that completely).

It does seem that they've kind of stopped focusing on the Warsteeds.
I think there's only been 2 new cosmetics sets 1 in the store and the Yule one.
There's been no real changes to the system yet except some bug fixing.
No mention of a timetable to introduce any new changes to it.
No rep mounts, festival or even some premium steeds have had their cosmetics added yet and I'm still waiting on Battlemail the chain mail outfit they showed in the screens.

If the reward is no longer worth the effort (which is subjective), then the solution is to not do it. From a personal standpoint, I agree that the meta-mounts are not worth the effort because by the time you get one for a character, that character is darn close to a war steed anyway. But others may feel differently. Many do not like to ride a war steed even in Rohan except when they are engaged in mounted combat. You can get a rep mount pretty quickly, so I think those are plenty viable.

The important thing we agree on is that we both think Turbine should make rep mount cosmetics available for war steeds. If they cost points, I would not buy them, but maybe you (and others) would appreciate even that opportunity.

The "bounce bug" does not bother me. That's what people do when riding a horse which is trotting (although I realize that travel mounts do not trot).

It also does not work for the 2 main meta-steeds, since each has 2 factions which give rep only for repeatables.

No argument from me on that. I'm OK with things as they are, but I'd be OK with that change, too.

The greatest nuisance to the stat change for Wardens is the new loot system. You cannot even stock up on items unless you have a multitude of friends willing to pass them to you, as they are automatically assigned by class stat reqs, and Wardens are stated for VIT atm. Bind on Acquire can't even be passed. So Wardens have to wait until the "grace period" to even begin to have a change at switching over.

Please turbine, just do me a favor and show my hunter some love! I went out into the moors the other day with my pve gear, all the OPs, over 50k mastery and capped crit and was still only critting on r6 creeps for like 3-4k if I got a good hit in. Meanwhile in my usual setup, about 11k tact mit, 9-10k morale, and full aud, im getting critted on my reavers for 6-7k without them having all the OPs all the while maybe getting a 1.5k dev on them if i'm lucky. The developer asked a hunter, would you be willing to give up DPS for survival? My question: Have you played a hunter in the moors lately??? What do you think we do now? Even with no survival our dps in the moors is such a joke it's almost laughable. And since our slows mean nothing from pots and perma-brands...the creeps just laugh at us. Please Help us, or delete the class altogether! Blah!

i've been playing lotro for 2years & i am quite used to my characters w/c are almost all wardens, & i don't certainly like the new changes on stat preference!

can you please clarify why they are needed in the 1st place, i've never encountered any problems with the class since i 1st played it. i hope this doesn't turn out to be like a wow situation where in developers give in to certain whiners that eventually led to frustrated players leaving the game, i'm not sure if many left, i just know that i did cause i didn't like the new changes. i felt like i'm a new player in a game that is no longer familiar. i wouldn't mind if the changes are favorable like having more hp/power regen capabilities or having more pets but you're asking wardens to switch a stat! & i think you'd still have to fine tune the stat accordingly once it's implemented

this change isn't a solution if its about players whining about loot, those people will continue to whine regardless of the changes because that is their nature, they will always think that something is unfair & search out every nook & cranny aspect of the game to find what in their head is unfair

Um is this a joke? Please tell me it is lol. So now wardens will have to compete with hunters and burgs to get geared and guards will get all the VIT gear to themselves. And we'll miss out on mitigation bonuses from the usual Vit/might gear. I prefer the way it is now, we get dps and healing bonuses from might and the mits from Vit. Why fix what isn't broken? -Need more spots to place items in the yard and in the houses - double them or do away with hooks and let us place as much as we want.

-Would love to be able to dye my rugs! Also would like more crafted rug selections =D

-Make paints usable on either floor or wall - so our crafted paints have more function

I LOVE the idea of seasonal changes in the homesteads and major towns - oh this would be awesome indeed!

PLEASE tell me these changes include some way to remove inactive homes from a community.. there are only 3 people in my entire housing area that are still active. Too depressing!

Would love to see an event each month or each quarter of the year held in the homesteads - like "complete a tour of the homes quest" (all houses are unlocked so people can go inside and see what they look like) or a yard decoration competition etc - with a really cool reward such as a special emote or maybe earn a Stable for your horses to place in the yard (for kinhouses and deluxe homes) etc. Anything that will get people more active in the housing area and keep it alive.

What does a grace period mean? As a casual LOTRO player with a level 81 warden, it has taken me a good amount of time and material (physical and skirmish based) to build an armor set focused on Might/Vitality. Such a major change to a character class tosses all my time and effort out the window unless you are going to put in a way I can convert these items to Agility/Vitality ones. This is especially true from having sunk time and effort into getting teal items. As a note, the item effect is more of an issue than having to re-farm my virtues to get them in alignment with the change. That I think illustrates how much of a pain this shift will be.

I love the class and have played through several changes, but there is a point where frankly it isn't worth it anymore. Having to redo all my items might just be it.

With nearly 2+ years of play under my belt in LOTRO, this is the first time I have felt compelled to post anything in game dev forums.

Q29 @katabendroth Will hunters get more survivability, akin to the survivability of almost every other (non tank) class?

absolutely not. i would take high damage as a hunter and tell the other hunters who haven't been playing as long as some of us to learn how to moderate the damage so they don't take agro. it's sad to watch a hunter who goes all out and never really learns how to play the class. then they die over and over and blame others.

Putting yet another round of class changes ahead of stuff that has needed fixing for several years: housing, Kins. Everytime classes are messed with we have to regear and relearn the class. Difficult if you have many alts. Have to take the legacies out of our legendary weapons and put in new ones. Will need more empowerments (more business for the store I guess). Pandering to a certain type of player over and over again. Now its not just classes messed with but stats. Fix the broken stuff. Leave the rest alone. I want my champ shield back. These changes are bad, unappreciated, and make me mad.
