“You must understand, young Hobbit, it takes a long time to say anything in Old Entish. And we never say anything unless it is worth taking a long time to say.”
"How long would an Ent-led auction take?"
Only until Isengard bids 5!
Cheers :)
Long enough for everything to become priceless antiques.
We may never know, we are still waiting for them to arrive.
It would last as long as it had to, no more, and no less.
It depends on the number of bidding ents, but probably a few months. Hoom!
An Age.
Figure it would take 3 eleven-lifetimes to set up a date, then 5 more eleven-lifetimes to arrive. Do you really want to know how long it talks to announce the beginning bid?
A huuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmdred years
Based on the thought processes of Ents, the auction would take as long as it needs to take and no longer, but what's the rush, tiny being?
No one knows. One was started over 300-years ago and it's still in progress...
;)
At most 48 hours. You know why.
Long to the Enth power
You put a Ent auctioneer there. Several hours passed, and no one talked to him. Why, because he is so tall... No one sees the auctioneer icon above his head, unless you put a icon on the radar. So, it takes forever. :p

“I am not going to tell you what you are bidding on, not yet at any rate.' A queer half-knowing, half-humorous look came with a green flicker into his eyes. 'For one thing it would take a long while: the Auction is growing all the time, and I've lived a very long, long time; so my Auction is like a story. Real Auctions tell you the story of those they belonged to in my language, in the Old Entish as you might say. It is a lovely language, but it takes a very long time saying anything in it, because we do not say anything in it, unless it is worth taking a long time to say, and to listen to.”
A few centuries probably
del
If Ents actually decide to do an auction, it'd probably take centuries just for a single item. :D
Very fast. 2-3 weeks.
An Ent and a Sloth were racing to the auction house...

I dunno, but I hope Sara Oakheart doesn't win!
Hi folks. New to forum, started lotro 7 years ago and recently came back.
"Auction"? Sounds like orc mischief to me! Búrárúm...
They come with money, they come with wares.
Profiteering, exploiting, cutthroating, sueing.
Destroyers and usurpers. Curse them!"
