Normally I would think the additional stats from a properly itemized 1-hand + shield would outperform a 2-hand, but the Valour capstone trait in the Blue line clearly favors the opposite.

Not really, it depends on many thingns. In general I would go with a 2-hander. Because it gives me more dps. But if the fights require more group healing I'd probably switch to sword and board. Valor is nice as a passive tank healing, but there is not much difference between 2h and 1h when it comes to Valor.Quote:

Yes there are and have been cappy shields for years. Both defensive and offensive (for some reason) variant. Minstrels have their own with will instead of might (though you would use mini one on a cappy as well).Quote:
