This was a good read. My level 66 LM is at 203.7% tactical mastery and was wondering this weekend if I was going overboard. Like diminishing returns type situation. My critical is at 23.something%,...
Interesting thread. I have been been playing Nethack (like the OP) since the late 80s. By far the most challenging computer game on the planet (unless you read guides and wikis). Never ascended, nor...
Reading the Bullroarer mobile site Changelog is absolutely impossible. They obviously dont browse their own fora on mobile devices. Yellow text on white background.... heh
I take it that the original poster was being sarcastic. Isn't that one of the points of an RPG (and MMO): make your own decisions on how you want to play?
Dang that's a lot of stuff about potatoes. Being an old Deadhead, I was always a fan of New Potato Caboose.
I am having potatoes for dinner tonight, amongst other things. What exactly are "potato graphics"? Serious question. I have only been gaming for 50 years so I am probably a newb, but really. I guess...
I resemble that remark :(
The wiki just states what level the quests are, not what level you will realistically be done, unfortunately. Forochel is pretty easy to complete at level 45... Narrowdelve being a challenge at 45...
Galtrev is the same way. Silly.
Mine are super messy right now... Just a lot of cool cosmetics I have run across in Dunland I am hanging onto.

Me too. Feels like they changed something disastrous. Maintenance, that was supposed to be it. Crossover 22.1 is now done. Oh well, a good 12 years run…
There is another thread in the “Player’s Suggestion” forum that echos this as well. Probably different forum posters but certainly worth noting.
“Excited for this change” is not the same as defending it, but semantics, right?
Not sure why you think playing 5 levels below content is “ outside the scope of any serious gameplay”. Just...
Where did I defend anything?
Excited for this change. A lot of people keep referring to a couple categories of LOTRO players in this thread: raiders and casuals. I do not know what those mean. I tend to be a min/maxer...
What’s a tin?
I have been playing my Loremaster for 12ish years, and do not find pets useless. I run red line when alone and yellow in group settings.
I do not look for damage from pets, but their debuffs, and...
Right on. I guess I have been changing hardware on apple hardware for decades. Never really bothered me. Anyway good little writeup on USB throughput.
Just kind of scanning through the thread… if I missed this, forgive me, why not throw a new internal SSD in the machine if the old drive is showing signs of (inevitable) failure?
What’s the big hurry?
Thanks for the heads up. It was very informative. I am glad I was able to get through that tough spot.
I have pretty good luck with a Mac Studio M1 Max.
Just dealing with the clans of Galtrev.
Quite possible. If it is run well, more navigable, less toxic than here, there is a realistic chance it could become more active.
I am that Joe and Jane (save for the forum registration), and yes, I...
