Yeah, because this game has more trolls than others. </sarc> Their excuses are bs. At best, it's lazy programming to prevent an effect instead of fixing the cause.

If I ever quit this game, the proximate cause will be "Too many requests, slow down." There's just no excuse. If there were, we'd see it in other games.

To turn of the effects of Festival consumables: Options/Social Options/uncheck Enable Involuntary Emotes.
To stop seeing cosmetic pets (other than your own): Options/Social Options/check Disable...

They have (have always had) that feature. On the AH panel, just below "Post", select "Unrestricted". That will remove all items that you cannot bid on (ie other kinships kin-only items).

There's a mirror in Bree just outside the Weapons and Armour Shop, across from the Bree-town Hall. Works as you would expect with no lag at all, and people are running through there constantly.

Are these new bridles actually required if you have an LI bridle still equipped? (I hate warsteeds, but mine has an LI bridle equipped. I don't know how to tell if it's working though.)

All of the worlds are down for maintenance, except Shadowfax and Treebeard. (As of 0826) It looks to me as if most of the patch should apply to the Legendary worlds just as much as the other worlds....
