With a top 2015 PC I'm getting 50-60fps with max settings in zerg PVMP, but I still can't use any skills. So I don't think lowering the graphics is the issue here...

Solo quests and landscape: minstrel - because you are ranged, don't need to run to the mobs and can kill the mobs very quickly. Or loremaster, because your pet does the killing for you.

I don't think you will find an open-PVP-system in which lower levels / lower ranks don't get ganked.
LOTRO doesn't have ranked battlegrounds and it doesn't seem that such a feature will ever come.

Saw some 65 symbols in OD t2 at 65, Lieutenant in BG drops pretty regularly 100 symbols, so I suppose 85 symbols should drop in erebor raids at 85 on T2.

Well, LOTRO gave me enough time to finish a good single-player game over the weekend (Fallout 4). It was quite enjoyable.

Hey loremaster, we don't need your debuffs, we want you as AOE DD, but don't use ring of fire or lightning storm, because the healer plays on a 10 year old rig.

This happened also before the server movement. You usually had to restart the instance and it worked just fine afterwards.

... And with a new computer you still get only 1 skill each 10 seconds to work in pvp. But you can watch the lagged crowd with 120 fps with max settings, of course.

BG doesn't take soo long, even if you have new players. I would welcome an automatic port similar to dome of stars though - running up if you wipe at the lieutenant takes forever.
