I agree, full voiceover doesn't work too well with lotro's style of storytelling. Like the works of Tolkien this game is based off of, lotro largely uses the written word to build its characters,...
Don't forget the big kicker; the cloak and necklace will become irrelevant with the next lvl cap because the essence stops working once you lvl past 149.
Does that mean we will have to bait the buff with a different damage type first so we can fight it properly with our main damage type(for example, LM has a pet hit the mob first so the mob will gain...
I know what you mean; I feel like Lore-master gets the least amount of communication when it comes to revamps/changes. It's like the class is an afterthought most of the time, with stealth changes...
Having 12 dread is quite excessive, and having to use a store item just to fight effectively gives p2w vibes. Even if people can still manage to clear t10s, that doesn't excuse what is most...
Yes the Test of Will tracery has recently disappeared from the archive of traceries in Rivendell; it's the only one missing from the barter list atm. The tracery still drops from
the random...
I have the same experience in that it can take some time soloing high tier delvings with LM. There's a couple RNG factors that determine whether the delving will be a walk in a park or a painful...
By chance, are you remembering to select "Apply" in the trait configuration after you've selected your traits? If you don't, the game won't save the trait configuration.
That aside, classes do...
It's more to do with the fact that Trickster: Disable is labelled as a melee skill; the range extension tracery only works on skills that are labelled as being either a ranged or tactical skill .
It was changed to tactical during one of the larger LM updates we had this year, but it was never put in the patch notes; quite a few LM changes this year went completely under the radar.
I imagine it'll be tied to the expansion, as new features in expansions usually tend to be, but it'd be nice to get confirmation from a blue name.
Are there any other major class updates coming in the near future, like what we're getting with the minstrel for 33.2? In particular, with the minstrel's yellow traitline being made into a secondary...
Isn't there also a potential path to Rhun at the far east end of the Wastes, just past Lang Rhuven?
I think the quests should give a fixed amount of ixp regardless of level, with the ixp of you get being increased or decreased based on the difference your character level and the quest level (to...
The eagle's Sacrifice skill should be changed period, to only affect other players (basically becoming an in-combat rez); the way it currently works allows for exploiting. They should also probably...
Since it seems like they want to make the lightning skills more viable, I think a good additional step alongside these changes would be to make it so that lightning storm and lightning strike no...
Unlike Nature's Light, Nature's Gift is a very weak heal. An internal cooldown of 180s on Nature's Gift is an excessive and unnecessary nerf. Why not just make the internal cooldown on Nature's...
These are some interesting changes. I fought a few mobs on BR just a few minutes ago, and this is what Flash of Light is doing for me:

It seems like it does a bit...
LMs were originally intended to be only support; it was the introduction of trait lines with Mines of Moria that first introduced the idea of a dps LM. That said, there have been periods in lotro's...
I agree it's very weird, I often have this happen when I initially use water-lore (the placing of water-lore on the target, not the HoT itself), and sometimes it even happens when I use pet summon...
They brought it down to 250 mil? That's good to hear, because 500 mil for each giant was too much for tier 1, and would've made higher tiers painfully long fights. I agree that we need to see what...
The first boss fight in Abnankara seem interesting in concept, but I'm concerned with how much work needs to be done.
I'm not sure if it's intended, but the bleeds aren't consistent:...
I'm not sure how long you've used yellow LM, but the skills have worked like that for years; for the purposes of Playing with Fire and Out in the Cold, fire-lore is considered a fire skill while...
Eyes and puddles really have been common mechanics in lotro for the longest time. I remember Barad Guldur being pretty heavy with puddles and eyes, especially the Twins fight and the Lieutenant...
