I expect we are at the point where they don't much care whether someone does or doesn't regret spending money on the game, all that matters is that they did so.

Nope the only slightly troubling (but understandable) part is that they rushed out a poor implementation of a good idea just to bump up the expansion/black friday sales. Player threads popped up...
You realise he didn't actually say or confirm or commit to anything right?
"there was a request"
"ideally we should be able to"
"still an ongoing conversation"
"a goal we want to achieve"
Great questions maartena but they seem pretty averse to detailing any future plans they have for the game.
One argument against revamping the ILIs, pitched by the devs themselves, is that players have already invested an incredible amount into the items so they didn't want to devalue that prior effort....
Maybe for some of the devs it still is but with the current state of the game I had to do a quick double take to make sure this wasn't a subtle troll thread.
Well how very cynical. Luckily I've been holding off buying MM to see what approach SSG took to patching up the game after its release (those Bullroarer previews were seriously unfinished after all)...
Chances are it will be a long wait folks. Currency was the easy part to resolve but how do you deal with people having over-capped their wardrobes? Perhaps their shared storage and vaults too? It's...
If this really is all they have planned then yep it's a serious disaster but I rather think the crafting has been one of the main victims of their need to get the expansion out on to the live servers...
So just to be clear, if I had 9001 figments and earned 1000 I would in fact receive 0 because it would breach the cap? Not ideal really... Presumably the embers and motes are functioning in the same...
It's probably something they've tweaked between preview #3 and the live release since there wasn't any obvious widespread pathing issue on the BR server. One NPC was broken in one of the quests that...
Perhaps The Curator is being held back until after the MM release has dealt with the currency cap breaches?
One concern I have with this new crafting system is that you currently have to disenchant an awful lot of items to collect 10 of those Ithil Crafting Component selection boxes, which is enough to...
That kind of sinks that suggestion then. :D
I have a lot of fun playing a blue Beorning since to me it captures a lot of the same feeling I got when playing a Warden back in Moria times. You get a genuinely complete tanking tool-kit unlike the...
While I think you could have gone further with the implementation, I have found the 50-slot bag to be quite useful while questing around the new MM regions. The 10-slot bag seems like it will be far...
I want to say it was bind to account on acquire (hopefully not intended) but I forgot to take any screenshots so can't say 100%. I had been hoping to test out more of the purple recipes but even when...
I noticed that some of the purple metalsmith recipes at Echad Uial reward you with 'crafting materials' on decon not embers. I can't remember how but I managed to get a level 130 warden shield during...
I get a black screen for my in-game help panel so I wanted to put some general observations here:
Quests keep rewarding level 120 gear whatever the level of the quest, so at 126, 127 and so on...
Does anyone know what rep level you have to be to barter for those purple crafting recipes at Echad Uial? Is it rep with the White Company or the Great Alliance?
There's also a special component...
Considering this is one of the more well known issues among the players, how do we square that up against the lack of action or even any plans for action on the part of the devs? I've spent a fair...
It's a harmless by-product if people move server once, sure. Bouncing shared storage back and forwards between servers to keep accumulating more currency beyond the caps is blatantly abusing the...
Imagine that they couldn't even be bothered to properly implement the dual-wield linked skills for a class they were planning to charge a premium for. And still haven't even fixed it all this time...
I would go a bit further really since the 10k caps were never meant to be breached, so even if people get to keep the extra supply as motes that means they've gained in a big way since that also...
Hmm, it's a shame people still do this. SSG have enough trouble with testing as it is but players treating Palantir as some early access preview of the upcoming content kind of defeats the whole...
