In PvP I would use it I guess, but I am never going to PvP with my hunter again, so moot point.
In solo, that snare only buys you an extra one or two shots, and I'm not really hurting for anything...

I started playing yesterday after a couple years of absence. The hunter doesn't seem any different, so I imagine I would probably do a lot better in every aspect of the game as a minstrel.
