If you have lotros icon on desktop it can't be easier, just get her to double click it and it starts steam and lotro. Stumbling blocks are steams login and if you set lotro to auto patch or not

They only activate the patch server once they have checked its working so patch away, currently at 40% so guess its about 1-1.5gig in size as I started around 1.20 pm GMT, currently 1.50pm
