Not every computer is the same and they can’t test every computer, only a limited number. Testing complicated software is hard not easy.
Sometimes it would be nice if the NPC's did some of the work. Oh you found this thing with writing on it, go kill those orcs and I'll take this to Elrond for you to get a translation.
But no you...
Moving one client to 64bit will make the work for moving the other client to 64bit easier.
It’s not “Pay to Win” it’s “Pay to Participate” p2w’s evil PvE counterpart.
You should not need to purchase stuff from the store to participate in gameplay.
I have a fairly fast system and even I can see a few seconds delay before that loads in. Perhaps they could optimize this area and pre-cache it. Specifically as it is part of the program that people...
So it is not relevant except to build up your straw man for the argument you are making.
The people on this forum are not the people in the Seinfeld video. Saying that people today are more...
Which login screen do you mean? The one where you type in your password and then select a server or the one where you select which character to play as?
What does Seinfeld have to do with any of this? I’m from a different culture and Seinfeld was never interesting or funny to me.
Personally I don't find it a slog, it is slightly slower than before. Before I had all these skills and buffs that I never used and that made being a Minstrel more boring. Also you don't learn what...
This is a solved problem in many newer forums but this forum software is quite old now. Although I would like them to update the forum a bit I would prefer they spend most resources on the game.

I'm with Internode not Optus and my ping is around 260ms for regional Queensland. To have more than that from Sydney sounds wrong.
I'm getting reduced awareness in weird areas. I have had it once in some ruins in the Lone Lands and once near the Windmill in the North Downs. Both times I could not see any other players around.
But I thought that Infinite Crisis sucked all the funds from LOTRO.
Turbine is working on other games such as a Game of Thrones mobile title. They also have a mobile game Batman: Arkham Underworld. Mobile games can make a lot of money if done right.
I think you need to set affinity for only one core but even then you cannot guarantee that another process will not try to use that core.
There are other things running in the background when you run LOTRO such as Windows itself. That is why two cores are recommended, so LOTRO can use one core all by itself and other things like...
I played for two hours last night on Arkenstone and unlike previous plays had no disconnects or lag. It all seems very random to me.
Location: Rural Queensland Australia
ISP: Internode
Server: Arkenstone
My Latency was around 260 then playing tonight I got disconnected when going through a door in Bree. Now my Latency is up...
I know it is not going to happen but I would love to see a LOTRO2 using something like Unreal engine 4. The character models would look fantastic.
Wait you guys are arguing over spelling? That is ridiculous.
It is called hyperfocus and is part of ADHD for some people.
I played on Arkenstone for over an hour and did not lose connection to the server once, also all the skill lag seems to have gone. Whatever they did to the server seems to be working.
I'm going to wait a week and see before deciding to cancel my sub as there is no use in making rash decisions. As for not playing LOTRO anymore what game can replace it?
