*edit* I just got it to work by choosing "32-bit legacy client" in the general options.

*edit 2* Chose character and the game crashed.

Not a new neighborhood idea, I just want to say that it would be nice for lighting hooks to be available in all neighborhoods, not just Rohan.

Um, the steam launcher is more than that. It also allows you to make lotro store purchases using your Steam wallet. And before being available on Steam, the game wasn't playable on mac at all.

Having the exact same issue. When I played on Steam, the game would occasionally freeze but only for a few seconds. It wasn't much of a problem. However, having to force quit and restart the game...

I uninstalled and reinstalled it. Can't open the Steam overlay on the new client. Also when I launch the game it opens the wine preloader...I thought when the Steam client was updated we wouldn't...

Did uninstalling the game delete your screenshots? I was thinking about doing that but I'm afraid all my screenshots will disappear from my steam profile.
