So sad news to hear. What a great guy. I remember how crazy he used to drive me in vent at times. He was always so happy and excited. That's what I remember most about him. If I ever was having a &&&& time out in the moors I would go into his channel because he was sure to make anyone be in a better mood.

He had such a great personality and was so passionate about his dancing. May he be dancing on a bigger stage now...

he will be missed by players current (and past).

The past few months I ran with Adam's groups most nights. Through all the ups and downs in the Moors his leadership was what kept me coming back. Fun raids and awesome singing. "Drop tar and spread out 25 meters from the shield". I'll never forget his reaction when he finally realised he had me marked with a leaf for 2 hours for killing "Bird".

So sad. Condolences to his friends and family. Rest in peace.

I am incredibly sad to see you go Sylidor, and I'm adding my voice to this chorus of voices saying you were a hell of a guy, you will be missed greatly, and your enthusiasm and positive attitude effected us all. Never had so much fun in game as when running around in Sylidor's group out in the Moors, and its not gonna be the same out there for any of us.

My best wishes to your family, friends, and loved ones back home. My heart goes out...

Farewell mate .. may you dance amongst the stars ..

I knew Adam since Feb 2007 when we were in the kin Rangers of Evendim on the Vilya server. As a fellow Aussie we had much in common. He played with his father and I always admired how close he was with his family. An astoundingly talented sportsman, always lamented how he wasn't able to join the long Helegrod raids and Rift raids we ran back then due to dance practise or trying out for some upcoming musical show.

We knew him as SYLDOR and QUENTOZ ... he shared many skills as I was a new minstrel and he played differently ... loved to tease me as I was and am too chicken to go to the Moors lols.. broke my heart when he disappeared for awhile later that year and I found out he had to have open heart surgery at such a young age of 14 ...

Sadly we lost contact - now I realise he moved to Elendimir ... Thohelm sent me a message on Facebook saying, " ... saw this post in the forums ... can't be your friend Syldor - it's spelt different .. " and that's how I found out ... Thohelm said he spoke to Syldor a few months back when he visited Vilya and it seems that about the time when kin Valhalla was breaking up - Syldor's "POP" had passed away... talk about a double hit in the chest. (note: Thohelm * USA * understood that reference to POP as "Father" but there is reference on Adam's Facebook page that his grandfather passed away in May ... so not sure which is which)

I know they'll be together taking care of each other like the old days... rest in peace Adam ... take care ... we will never forget your beautiful spirits and the family love you taught us..

Many fond hugs ... on behalf of all of us on the Vilya server ... Thornie xxx

Just heard the news over here on Vilya and was sure someone had got it wrong. Reading all your lovely posts i have realised someone got it right and i am so sorry. Sorry to Adam's family they are just beautiful people as was Adam.
He was always a ray of sunshine when he logged on in kin and he took that sunshine where ever he went. I was so excited to hear his great dancing news recently and was thinking i would be travelling to see him in a big show anytime soon.
When i first met Syl he was the same age as my son is now and we had loads of fun running around with him and Sylrond. He was my partner in the Rift healing for our kin. We had fun times and it was so sad when he left Vilya.
Can't write anymore i keep crying.
Love to you Syldor and big hugs and love to your wonderful family who love you so much.
Love always Andaral ( Karen ) and your friends from Vilya especially those of us From RoE and SC.

Wow, this is just shocking news. I was not expecting this. Has made my great day turn very sad indeed

RIP Sylidor. I will always have fond memories of you leading the Freep raids and the laughs that you created. As others have mention you were a great freep leader and a terrible singer. You will be missed. My condolences to his family and I will have a drink for you tonight. I’m so sad that I haven’t been out to the moors since level cap and missed out on the last couple of months action.

I've been putting off writing a message because I really didn't want to accept that Syli has left us... I was thinking 'no no no... He has to be coming back. He was strong, he can't have left this Earth. Please say it's not true... Please?' Now I see that this is definitely true and he's not coming back, so I feel I should say a little something...

Sillydork was always a lot of fun in raids. He would lead with enthusiasm and would try not to get too mad at the members of his raid. If he did get frustrated, he would usually cheer up or he would go take a break to chill off so that he would be happy when he came back. I would always make sarcastic comments and he would always laugh and say 'shut up, Isam!' One time I think I got him to tell me to shut up every minute or so for like 10-15 minutes. I got an absolute kick out of it. I also thought it was great because he always had himself up as the healer target assist. Sometimes someone would be really close to death and he would be like 'Heal my targeeeet nooooooope, yup, gotchya!' I'm not sure why I found it funny when he would do that, but I did...

I also had a lot of fun running around with Syli in GW2. It didn't seem to last long since I convinced him to come back to lotro after he said he'd give up lotro... He ended up giving up GW2 instead. I would do WvW by myself for a while until he introduced me to structured PvP. It took me a while to figure out how to get there. He found that my noobness was hilarious and I remember I just kept telling him to shut up that day. I had helped him level his toon to 85 so that he would come back and lead in the moors. I don't think one person has made me facepalm so much ever, but it was totally worth it. When he came back to the moors, he was so fascinated by the changes. He found the bridges to the ops and was saying 'Oh! What's this? This is new! I like this a lot! This will make OP fights much more interesting.' He had already began figuring out strats and stuff around the ops which was awesome. He also discovered the 'rockrock's which he jumped across for like 5-10 minutes with the rest of the raid staring at him wanting to go fight, but we waited. When he saw OC, he had to go run around inside of it because he found the changes made to it really impressive...

Anyways, out of memory lane for a second. Adam was a great leader, a great player, a wonderful friend, and an awesome member of the lotro family. Adam was an awesome dancer I hear (though I never saw his dances) and he is probably in a better place now, dancing to his heart's content with no injuries... Yea, he injured himself a lot. He had a huge heart and never hated anyone, he just accepted. I have to say thank you, Adam, for being part of my life. You showed a kindness that not a lot of people have and it was great to meet someone as awesome as you. I hope that there are many rockrock where you are that you can dance across as much as you would like without a raid waiting on you.

You shall remain in my memories always as the happy Sillydork who just wanted everyone to have fun. You never cared about rank or points, you just wanted fair fights. If they weren't even fights, you would try to make them even with npcs. You were a highly respectable person.

My thoughts go out to Adam's family. I think of what me and many other players are going through with this loss and I can only think that the Loiterton family is just feeling ten times worse since they've been through everything with him. They were blessed to have him in their family. Good luck, Loiterton's and may you all have a light shine bright in these dark times.

He was a good man, more of a man than most will be at age 40 and one of the few people(and only Aussie I can think of) who still play this game that I considered a friend. I will miss him dearly. He got along from what I could tell with literally everyone. The world is a far sadder place without him.

Just wanted to give my condolences to his family, friends and others who have played with him. I didn't have the pleasure to be in his raids but I knew of him when I was out. Sad to see a great leader leave this world. Such a young age too.

Been thinking about you a lot today Sylidor. From thinking of our happy times in the moors on both sides giggling, singing and rapping to every ones favorite hobbit joke. To you speaking Spanish at me in your "sexy" voice and everything in between. You were the most amazing person, such a pure soul. How you could make anyone smile and laugh. You were one of the most caring people and it breaks my heart that someone so good in this world was taken away at such a young age. And even as I cry missing you I still smile because I can hear your voice in my head calling us all "Ruddy Gits". I wish you could have seen all of us in the moors last night remembering and missing you,And to read the post made by Vangelis . You touched so many people in your so few years. you made everyone you touched love you. I feel blessed to have met you and know you for as long as I was allowed to. I will never forget our time together I only wish we had more time.

    I love you Adam ♥

I just heard today and keep thinking this must be a mistake, please let this be some stupid mistake. Just a few days ago we were having a great laugh flying up into the air on to the roof of the GV vault before heading out for a blast around the moors. You were always so much fun to be with, how could this happen to one so bright and positive? I am shocked and saddened beyond words. My deepest condolences to your family and friends, and to your kinmates who have lost one of their own, as we all have. /tears

My heart goes out to his family with my deepest sympathies. I met him a couple of years ago and he struck me as someone who's "never met a stranger." He kept me smiling and laughing and that's what I will miss the most. Keep on dancing and smiling my friend! Love you bunches Adam <3

I am so sorry to hear this news. Syl was a great guy, full of life and fun and amusement. I love that he felt he could share his love of dancing and tell people about it confidently, without fear or care that he would be griefed.

Few of us are for a lack of a better word, lucky to die doing what we love. Syl died dancing.

Thanks for the fond memories, I hope your eternal rest is full of light and fun and where you can now do whatever you dreamed to do.

    Vale Sylidor.

Sorry to hear about this. Rest in Peace Sylidor. Sorry I won't be able to hear you and Vapaad do your Frodo/Gandolf impressions any more. You two were a riot and welcomed me to the server when I started on creepside.

Sylidor was a player with a really good skill, and his raid was full of tactics.

But more than that, he was a kind and delight person to me.

He was always someone who worked to make PvMP on Elendilmir more challenging, active, and entertaining for both himself and every other player. His speech on this forum and action in game to make this server a more active and better place really had a good influence for it.

And personally, thank you for the fun time we could have in the end of Rise of Isengard. I was really glad to see you on creepside, and fight alongside you. Our duo fight was the best fight I have had in LOTRO.

As I said before, it was my pleasure to meet you in LOTRO.

    Rest in peace, Adam.
