I was hoping I would be able to make it this time, but my work schedule disagrees. Oh well. Aarawynn of Elendilmir will be there in spirit, from about 3 hours south of Orlando! Have fun, everyone.

Ok so its like this. I asked Sapience a while back if he would bring some TP cards along with the goodies to do Trivia.

I currently have 20 questions ready to go and may add more (gonna harrass MadeOfLions for some in game stuffs)

    So bring your thinking caps

Also please do not forget to bring a few dollars cash if you can to donate to Extre Life. We raised just over 100 in Orlando last year and hopefully this year we can do more for the kids.

That's awesome! You may want to call them and let them know the group will be larger than expected.

Hello hello, I'll be driving up from Weston in the afternoon. Who needs a ride?

I'm not attending this event for geographic reasons, but I wanted to stop by to highlight this awesome post. It's great to see members of the community offering to do this for others who may not be able to attend otherwise because of having to transport themselves that far. (Due to an inability to drive for that long round trip, gas costs etc.)

Ok, so Winghouse is expecting 50 people. Who ever arrives first tell them you are with Adam and Rick and ask for manager John. The GM advised him we are showing up annd they are glad to have us

I concur with Crell_1. Very cool of you to offer the ride, abzpress. We're actually driving up from Davie (howdy neighbor), but we need the car for some other things afterward and we're staying overnight. See you (and everyone else!) there tonight.

Weston near Fort Lauderdale/Miami? That'd be far. :O

    But a great offer!

Thanks, Kickman77, for getting everything organized for the Meet & Greet tonight. And many thanks to Sapience for coming out to Orlando. Me and the kids had a great time! My daughter definitely won the "cute" award and got a cloak out of it, LOL! BTW, how did we do on the "Extra Life" collection?

That outfit was awesome. Kind of cool that someone dressed up and hey Sapience called her out and recognized her for it with that sweet Cloak which I hope she will enjoy.

Thanks to everyone for showing up and having a great time. Was fun to talk to every one of you that stopped by and to those of you who I actually play with, nice to finally have a face connected to the screen name.

Now, who is up for one of these in the fall sometime (Maybe around Halloween) Ideas for locations?

Also just found out we raised $213 for Extralife.. Way to go ORLANDO!

The cloak was very nice tho I was trying to find a picture online to show to some folks. Would like to know where the cloaks came from or were made for.

And I did check that quote on what was etched into the One Ring. It was 2 lines of an 8 line poem. The two lines were:

    - One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
    - One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them

I also found a reference online to the fact that a couple of printings of the book were in error and left off the first line. One of the error copies must have been where whoever made up the trivia questions got the idea that only the second line was engraved in the ring.

If it's the same cloak he gave out at the Rocky Mount meet & greet, you can see the back of my daughter wearing it on The Lord of the Rings Facebook page. If it's a different one, than I can't help you.

The only 'official promotional' LOTRO cloaks I recall were for the 2013 5th anniversary . They were made in very limited quanity for giveaways. Alas, I'm having difficulty finding pictures online =/

I want to thank you kickman for all the leg work involved in making this possible. My wife and I (Zalana & Zalddor) both enjoyed ourselves immensely. And yay for Extralife!

Thank you guys for great time on Sat night in Orlando. The meet and greetwas simply awesome. Sapience, thank you so much for taking the time to answerall of our unending questions about the direction of the game, and taking thetime to listen to our concerns and thatyou would address them with the proper parties back at work. Donphira and I had a phenomenal time meetingeveryone, and I truly look forward to the next meet and greet. As to a suggestionfor other venues, might I suggest SouthFlorida… like in Ft. Lauderdale? We have amazing night life here, and as an example: Hooters at SeminoleParadise Hard Rock Hotel and Casino? A place to crash, gamble a little, and good food… not to mentionthe excellent places to see in South Florida… perhaps alittle time at the beach? Just athought, of course… and I would be happy to make arrangements to coordinate everything if we’d like to move the venue abit further South.

However, if everyone wants to keepit in Orlando… perhaps a little closer to the theme parks next time?

Either way, we’re in the for the nextawesome meet and greet. By the way, Sapience: Thank you so much for the awesome swag… MUCH appreciated.By the way, we didn’t get our 1000000 turbine points, so I’ll just keepcrossing my fingers for that J (joke!!!:No TP given out at the event!) Thanksall, once again, for a great eveningwith fellow gamers. FYI for all: The average age of those attending was 37-41, so I was quite surprisedthere were other old timers like us! J
