So, seriously, back after over two years...

no pvp? How are folks garnering such major rankage titles on the Free Players side? I go out after having been away for 2+ years and see not one soul to attack/chat/bowt0/grovelto/yieldto or just plain attack until I find a 1v1 and he/she is surrounded by a bunch of "play fair, respect the circle" player... wth?

Okay, I can respect the self gratificaton, but is there any real pvp going on anymore?

    C'mon folks...

... By real pvp do you mean the joke of one side zerging with bigger numbers till the other side gets fed up and gets more numbers to zerg the zergers.... Yea... great pvp right there. 1v1s, despite you might not thinking them as "real pvp", they are more fair even with Turbine's laughable balance team. =)

    #### agonize. Both creeps and freeps on vilya are the pinnacle of fair and won't hesitate to turn down invitations to groups camping gv/grams and nor will they ever ever ever bunch up and roam in packs calling themselves "solo". I've heard that's what happens on other servers, but not our blessed Vilya, no siree.

It's pretty much right after an update so most of the pvp regulars are pveing... and it's Vilya, a historically small pop server... added to the fact that there are no more 'consistent' pvp leaders on either side, and you pretty much get what we have now.

I was a bit hasty on my op, apology forthcoming...

Pvp, or PvMP I should say, does indeed exist. And there was an unintentional omission within my post; I should also have included the word "die" after I said, "not one soul to... " lol (easy enough to read between the lines there, . )

So I apologize for my quick analysis of Vilya's pvmp. In it's own form, whether ganks, "multi" solos, zergs etc, the excitement is still there. And, Agonize, ty for your insight on 1v1's, they do deserve respect and I see they are a good thing.

    It's nice to be back.

If you've been away from LOTRO for a longish while you missed out on the Rank Farming where some players were able to garner massive max ranks in a very short time. This activity is now prohibited so if you aren't at max rank you will have to invent another way to get there.

Not sure about the status of PVP on this server, but other servers are wastelands. The lights are on but there's nobody home.
Whoever says “I” creates the “you.” Such is the trap of every conscience. The “I” signifies both solitude and rejection of solitude. Words name things and then replace them. Whoever says tomorrow, denies it. Tomorrow exists only for him who does not seek it. And yesterday? Yesterday is Kolvillàg: a name to forget, a word already forgotten.
