I miss pvpingno one is ever out anymore makes me very sad nim pvp population dropped drastically from different lvl caps
While I'm not playing lotro atm, when I left game few weeks ago there were no freeps on. There are still enough good creep players for good action, and also some new players/names coming, but population of freeps decreased significantly in RoR and HD, close to no old players coming back.
When I came on my freep on lv95, all I saw was very dissapointing freep players' base. I have to say creep players' are much more welcoming and helpfull for new players. I don't say all freep players are bad, but in general, I blame them for current state of moors on our server.
I miss pvp too on Nimrodel, even if I started just some months ago. From some weeks Moors are completely empty and dead. I always come out to check if someone's out but...nothing. I don't know if maybe we can do something for that, maybe we can start planning some action so players know when they should come to Moors (I am just suggesting)... or players will continue transfer their toons on other servers and Nimrodel will "die slowly". Me and some of my kinnies would like to do something for that cause we're on a great server that has great pve. We just miss some pvp.
Let's say that: freeps don't come out cause there are no creeps coming out cause there are no freeps...etc etc... it's like a dog biting his tail.
But what if we say to freeps and creeps: let's come out on *day* at *hour*. What will happen? Maybe nothing but I think it's worth trying.
(sorry I am crazy and maybe I am wrong but I don't like to see the server die doing nothing..I think it's worth trying)

It is very sad to go out in the moors and do laps, or even AFK at grams, and find nothing.
I am down to the idea of planning a time to pvp. Name it and I will be there.
It is a sad state across the board, not just the Nimrodel server.
I have asked around and people are moving toons to where the action is, Brandywine. However, with all the hype of Brandywine pvp, the server remains laggy and downright unplayable at times. In fact, during the evening time, my preferred time slot, it is absolutely horrendous when the hordes on both sides come out. During my time on nimrodel, 7 years to be exact, this particular lag or any sort unplayable lag happened during the zone lines fiasco back in the day.
In the attempt to revive the action, both sides have to start contributing to pvp's patching. This means complete and total coordination of action, advertising of play times in world chat, kin events, etc. This is a gruesome and unappreciative task, but it must be done.
The mass exodus of Sons of Durin creeps/freeps is actually a good thing. The departute of Nikitah, Gemodi, Grom and a few others should be taken as a rejoicing moment in server's pvp history and built on. The server should unite as a result.
I do hope that the remaining population will consider my suggestions. Before you all call me a hypocrite, as my BA is on BW as well, please note that my mains- mini/captain/burg/warg and rank 8+ creeps still on the server ready to jump in at the moment's notice. My heart will always truly lie with Nimrodel.
I conclude this wall of text with my last suggestion, be better!
Thank you.
Yours very truly,
Volo
Volodic- Rank 14 Minstrel- The first and the last Warlord of Nimrodel
Volobash- Rank 11 Blackarrow- Arkenstone, Nikitah's Bane
Volosavenger- Rank 9 Stalker- Landroval, The white warg
Got tired of waiting for ANY action on Nim, so i too transferred (my reaver) to BW.
Last few weeks when i logged on on Nim, there were no freeps or creeps whatsoever, and i dont expect it to get better considering the amount of Nim creeps/freeps in see on BW.
Lag can be bad on BW but its better then no action at all.
R15 Reaver = Skullsquasher (First R15 creep on Nimrodel)
R15 Warg = Violentius
R12 BA = Sativas
