A stirring in the Moors?

Seems like there has been a gradual increase in Creeps lately. Last several days, there have been a few small groups running about.. Hoping to spot some Freeps over there as well, even if it's just for some 1v1's. Over the years, I have seen some really great players, it would be so nice to see the Riddermark community come alive again.

A little bit of action again last night, good fun! Quite a bit of back-and-forth outpost flipping, held my own for a bit, but ended up being defeated many times by a great champ.

I'm still quite new at the PvMP side of things, but definitely having fun with it. Quite different from PvE, as I am learning.

Again, hoping to see more of you in the 'Moors!

Seeing a few more people again. Last several days have seen good stuff, from being bled to death by a group of wardens to taking out a minstrel or two! At one point this afternoon, there were about 7 creeps on at the same time. I realize that isn't a lot by BW or Landy standards, but it is definitely a step in the right direction for our server..
Still learning our way around creepside of course, and I have to say that all of the creeps we've grouped with have been very helpful and nice! Thanks to all being patient with us..

Agreed...it has been busier in the past week or so. Good to see others about in the Moors, especially after such a long dry spell. Maybe summertime brings out the freepsNcreeps??

Another eventful afternoon and evening in Riddermark 'moors.. It was the most people I've seen there at the same time for quite a while. Many thanks to the vet creeps giving us advice, and to the very kind guard who did some 1v1's with several of us creeps.

So, in light of the recent activity.....
Saturday evening, 8:00pm servertime, GTA. Creeps, Freeps. We'll do whatever, depending on how many show up. 1v1's to utter mayhem, and anything in between.
As always, I will be on my weaver, Tarantella.

It's always tough figuring out who is online. The majority of people are anonymous, and I've discovered many of them don't like talking on World/OOC channels. They are concerned about 'spies', but honestly it doesn't bother me in the least. If it helps everyone find everyone, good enough for me!

What time do you normally get on Arb? I'm actually in your kinship, on the freep side!

Back on topic: I sat on for over 3 hours today doing random comms tasks and trying to complete the big ones (85 feathers, etc).. It surprised me to only see 2 people willing to either show themselves or to chat.

I'm a little sad that the PvMP system totes its "anonymous or die" attitude. It's really unnerving, given it completely kills the social aspect and makes people log out pretty much right away.

We had a really great turnout tonight! Some really gracious players came out, turned out to be a very enlightening evening.. Lots of 1v1's, and a few good frays as well..

I mean PvP is still garbage, but that hasn't stopped this server in the past. I doubt Riddermark will every go back to the way it was in the "golden" days, but this is better than nothing, at least.

Alot of names that this one know's (both creep and freep). Good to see many new/vets still kicking in the ettens.

From the looks Ive had at the new Osgiliath map (granted they also update all of the weapons/items to level 100), popularity should increase. I mean, what says PLAY ME more than reliving an iconic part of LOTRs backstory (the battle of Osgiliath against Boromir's garrison and the Witch King). The new rewards and shinies should also encourage players to get involved as well.

I'm more excited to see what will happen when free transfers open up, maybe a new server be more like Ridder used to be. Or everyone will flood to Brandy and contribute to the lugz shuffle and I'll lose all faith in pvp. Either way, nice to see that people still know where the moors is on Ridder.
