Kin Destinatons after vote of Friday 8 August 2015, most recent word

For all who participated in either of the 2 meetings, on world chat, in the forums, or through tell, thank you for all of your help and care in this matter.
It is appreciated for the input everyone gave. Each server has its own advantages. Many kins are choosing based on the needs of their kin and many kins
wishing for keeping up with friends in other kins in effort to keep as many together as possible. It is not just a button. Silverlode is us. We made the server
what it is.

We apologize to any who may have missed the first meeting . During that there was a more in depth discussion about all the servers than there was at the 2nd meeting. Many were by the second meeting
wanting to vote and go on so if that was confusing to any, the first meeting would clear matters up. All servers sent representatives who posted in the other vote thread. Feel free to look there and ask around for what you and your kin needs to better balance that with considerations of where your friends on this server will end up going and on which servers you may already have friends. That will vary much as some do have friends with whom they would like to reunite on other servers. All servers have been welcoming and this is something which though stressful has brought out much good in people for trying to make things easier on those of us losing our home servers.

It has been stressful for some as parting ways has not been wanted and for some trying to choose which server best fits their needs is not easy.
We thank all of you for your patience and efforts to try to work together and communicate.

If any votes were missed please feel free to post those of mail Zadhiel in game. The meeting was extremely busy so if anything was missed my apology.

Instrumental in this have been Tiggerr, Meghanne, and Belsar with additional help from Amaanda, Moochie, and Gracelina and others. There are others who merit their
names mention also. Alas my mind is in a fog as sleep is needed and memory lapses. Those who helped, thank you. Thank you to all who helped communicate
or organize this.

I just want to offer a word of warning to the members of Animal House Kin. There already is a Animal House on Landroval so take that into account.

Hardware seems the key: According to the executive producer when interviewing on LOTRO Reporter, the new hardware will be good enough that there was consideration of only being 2 servers rather than 10.



As such if the new hardware does get into place well enough, the number of us transferring to another server should be no issue from a mechanics standpoint it would seem.

Thats interesting i havent heard that before. Hopefully that can correlate to the moors and if it solves the problems we have the bigger servers could look more ideal for someone like me. Hopefully its not all talk but given we are able to test out 4 of the 5 servers as much as we want until the end of the year i can test them all out

As I said elsewhere, all are important even small kins or people in none. Some who are in small kins can end up reaching out and become very well liked. Even for those who do not they have a say also and hearing their say would be good. You are a small kin. You are a kin. Those who are not in a kin are still here and their voices count too.

Good luck in finding more people for your kin after you move if you choose to go that way. There will be many more people in starter areas with the servers consolidated and many others will be losing their kins as some leads of kins may be away for awhile and may not even know of the move. Best to you with it for whatever you decide.

Cheer up, Irin! First of all, it has always been that way: staged transfers. And yes, it's kinda worrying that we go almost at the end of the list. But worry not! The worlds won't get filled, and we won't be limited to go where we want. The new machines will be able to support much more people than they do now, so this should not be a problem.

I hope Triumph makes its mind and take a path, whether it's with the mayority of us or not.

Question: Aside from Brandywine, is there a chance of the other severs becoming closer during the transfer process as they fill up? I'd like to transfer to Landroval but cant until i return from a trip in September. I worry about it filling up in that time.
This is unlikely. Brandywine population is vastly larger than even the next most populated server.

Yes Jimi..... It is true. We have decided to come play with you guys and trade one lagfest for another. We should be pulling the Slode NEC and Brandywine NEC back together, so get your thumb taped up and jump away. I don't get as much game time as I used to so take every opportunity to get your thrills. I know I will.

We can take off our war boots and put on dancing shoes there more than other servers i think so when want to have some time just to hang loose and enjoy seems like good one for it.
