Hullo all, 'tis Gath here... I've been out of the game for a bit now (if you are wondering while mail isn't being returned >.> apologies! ), and was just curious as to how things are holding up in the good ol' Crick moors. I imagine action slowed with whatever Mordor update came out, but hopefully things are back and running smoothly! And if action is dead, hopefully some intrepid creep has taken up the mantle of storytelling, spreading the message of Tim, and being sporadicly confusing in OOC for all of the woefully bored creeps. Happy hunting to yeh, good wishes to the old gang, and keep the Freeps off Fort Rocky!

I was curious about the same thing, so I transferred one of my RKs to Crick about a week ago. I probably would have looked like a mounted Happy Meal to any creep who would have seen me with my morale at around 44k, but in a ride from GV to Grams and back, I saw no one. Perhaps it was just a slow night :/

Best I can figure is SSG really wanted to sell the Mordor update so in hopes of selling more copies they purposely gave creeps the short end of the stick, hoping if there was no pvp maybe all us creeps would go back over and play freep as well. They ignored all the feedback on the test server about broken scaling for lvl 105 freeps scaling to 115 even tho the issues were noted well ahead of release time. Creepside got finesse corruptions and no slots for them,.its ok tho because even with all 6 slotted you get almost no finesse. So combat in the Moors is just a tad fast paced if you are a freep or a warg atm,..wargs dps is still OP but they are wet paper bags atm. Taking keeps is a 6man if ya want it done in less than 20 minutes WITH Healers! Taking OP's can be done solo if they are owned by DOF forces. Gary and Matron and RR are a long fight with still no force taunt the gaurdians and such can just reset them,..on a positive note the draklings eggs are a blast to open again if there was any action.

Looks like the next patch will be weak on fixes for us pvp'rs as well. They have time to modify and repost the way they want us to address them and others in forums and to even stop in and post in Second Breakfests party threads (which I think was cool btw Cord) but they seem to offer no respect to those that would wait patiently,..quite a few of us who just play and dont constantly cry about the game...........guess the horde of little kiddie pvp forum trolls is keeping them busy.

Anyways you goofy Gourd selling thing you...I am vacationing in SWTOR and still headed to Star Citizen..the longer they take to address LOTRO pvps current issues the further I am away from coming back at all.

Ya this last update,.. Crick went dead....you know what happened..I hear Ark is on life support but still some action.

Lets just hope for some love........might go sneak up behind some of them High Elves and scare em into the back doors.

Action on Arkenstone is actually pretty decent, again. I've been surprised by the numbers on both sides recently! With the re-introduction of audacity gear, devs have a chance to sort a few things out in PvP and to even things out and bring people back in.... I hope. The morale increase on NPCs in OPs and keeps must be a killer for lower-pop servers

I believe it was both BW and Ark I guess I'll work on my RK's trait point total, and hope the new update brings some players back out into the Moors. Oh, and I had the name wrong. The RK I brought over is Casidrhen...... I have 3 RKs and 3 minis. All but one, now two, are in storage, though. It would be nice to run into you, too, sometime. Best of luck out there, my friend!

It's good to know that some classic players are still around, whether it's the Stylo of so many fantastic 1v1's, or Cas (who I admittedly do not know, but admire from your level-headed forum posts :-) ) - good to know Crick is still rolling... if on fewer wheels, so be it.

And of course Maytrix, greatest of "We Sell Gourds" clients - Gourd Seller, haha - made me smile There is certainly some truth in what you say regarding PvMP falling by the wayside. It is a shame, but then "perhaps" audacity armor or some unforeseen patch (revert to pre-HD traits :3 ) will improve the situation. If not, I recall that most of our fun was derived from inane chatter and the sporadic action we concocted, although goodness knows balanced fights (even losses) were wholly preferable to the mind-numbing monotony of miserly monsters mowing down nublets at GV (or no action at all). Hope you are enjoying the alternative-game vacations!

As it happens I have a backorder of gourds in the old Fort Two-Twigs Warehouse due to expire in January - may have to log in over the holidays and distribute them to what courageous creeps and fickle freeps still abound :3 Good luck to yeh all in keeping action up, welcome to Crick, and happy hunting.

Working on trait points and leveling from 105 this weekend. When my gear gets a little bit better, I'll roll a creep, and ask if anyone around on creep side might like to get some 1v1s in... I really only look for 1v1s, and I don't shoot at anyone who does not shoot at me. See you out there!

Being "VIP since the beginning" does not give you free license to break the Terms of Service. I hate it when people develop a sense of entitlement because they devoted X amount of hours/dollars to a game. It doesn't matter how old you are, even 52-year-olds will get banned if they break the rules. Go right ahead if you think you're above the rules, but don't complain when the banhammer comes down.

Logged in over the weekend just to see what's up... was pleasantly surprised to find action around Lugazag in the evening 0.o It was, from a R11 BA perspective at least, functional, evenly-matched play. I don't doubt that there are massive discrepancies in freep/creep stats and abilities (Barage/Claws ./rawr). Sure, the greeny creeps were getting wiped when alone (as always), and there were a couple of nasty 38k devs from VT; however, even as groups with minimal coordination, both sides seemed to manage a back-and-forth on the Lug hill somewhat reminiscent of olden days. All the freeps were new-names save one (who admittedly carried freep's dps), but despite deaths or wipes they came back... perhaps Crick just needed some new blood to break the GV/TR shuffle Anyway, long story short - things seem a tad less grim than expected. Crick lost a lot for sure, but last night convinced me that individuals, on small servers at least, can make marked impacts on server action...so cheers to the new creeps/freeps giving it a go and good luck to the vets

Decided to turn my pc on been a few months and found some pretty decent group vs group going on. Even if I don't recognize any of the new names good to see stuff still happening. Heaps of greenies, heaps of death but good to see neither side giving up

Last few nights quite a few of our veteran creeps been out and a ton of new creeps, freepside has been represented by some new faces and of course all the hunters, at times I noticed about 3 or 4 hunters at a time were not even getting a shot off because of how fast we were dying lol think at 1 point we had 11 hunters and 2 healers last night with 1 LM and a guard a couple of burgs and a champ. Nice to see em out either way lets hope they still come out if we get a update.

Seems Vastin is saying BR has some new testable type things for creepside. I might go see, Discord me if there is Crick action.
