    New Player Question

This is probably asked a ton but i am curious as to what the player population looks like on these legendary servers for a brand new player to Lord of the Rings Online? Looking to possibly create a character to experience the game for the first time.

If you are a new player I suggest you dont play on the legendary worlds since it has been a disaster since it launched and therefor population has dropped significantly. I play on a normal server(Evernight) and it's probably 8x times more populated. So it's easier to get groups for all the old expansion compared to the legendary worlds. Evernight is EU time based so go for that if you are an EU player.

    Hi

I know I'm late to this thread but just for information we have had a number of new players join our kinship in the last two weeks. The population is lower than on the live servers but depending on your personal preferences, it may not be a big issue. A lot of people prefer to do things with their kin fellows and if the kin has several characters in your own level range, it is a definate plus.

The legendary servers have another great plus: A lower level cap. It is much easier to catch up with your fellows when you are going for a lower end level. Additionally, there are certain mechanics regarding "Legendary Items" that make it very, very tough for new players to get close to their friends in equipment.

There are some Doomsayers regarding the legendary servers who grab any opportunity to proclaim that they are dead, a disaster, a cash grab, or completely depopulated. It is a wonder that we are still playing there and enjoying ourselves.

Like he said, its really slow right now. Most of my kin hasnt bothered to log in much since clearing the raids. Server will definitely be more fun around 100/105 caps. If you're looking to run endgame stuff, might help to level now and catch up, then start up again to get 95 to wait for the next cap.

Glad to hear you've had an influx of membership, Zohal!

The Mithril League is pretty active and very nice. In addition to endgame, we have a level-capped group at Level 50 with the plan of hanging around there to make the most of Shadows of Angmar content. There's also been some rumbling about a new super-lowbie group, but I don't think that has coalesced. Several players have active alts at early levels to group with.

I agree that overall activity is less that the regular servers, but it's also more focused, and the lower level cap is a big boon for experiencing the content.

    German-speaking user chats?

Hello I play only recently on Anor and wanted to ask if there are German user chats? I mean SNG, Reginal and World. Other chats with a large German-speaking community are of course also welcome.
