English - anyone?

Are there any English speaking players here?
I rolled a character here on this server by accident - seeing the RP tag.
I would transfer to the English RP server but the world transfer system is not happening and I still have many characters stuck in limbo from when I played before on deleted servers
The game is very soloable now at least I am nearly lvl 53 - Hunter (Gwyyneth)

I rolled a character to visit during the most recent concert. I usually play on Landroval (EN-RE). I found this server to be much like Landroval used to be before server consolidation. I like Belegaer much better. I understand some German from living there for several years.

My level is probably too low to benefit you at this time but wanted to say hello. My character is Dagorthar (17- LM) and I am online nights PDT with another player from Landroval.

I am now about level 65 on Gwyn but I would love to add you as a friend if that is okay and see if our times gel. I am a little less active on LOTRO these days since post because I have been stuck down in the Mines of Moria and got a bit tired of being underground LOL I have just emerged - YAY! So hopefully it will reignite my interest some more.

I have experimented a bit across the servers.

It can still be a journey, imagine you slowly try to learn a foregin language and they don't really know much of yours. The global chat will not be in English but see if you can create your own chat channels
The command to create one is
/joinchannel Englishassistance
and it will be slotted to the first free user chat channel /1 /2 /3 and so on - if you have many, use /listchannels
if you want the new channel to be private, simply add a password
/joinchannel Englishassistance SWORDFISH

If you do want to make the move by rolling a fresh character someplace like Landroval or Laurelin, there are many possibilities to get help through the game to 50 or so (Moria) and you can continue exploring from there.
