Getting started playing!

Hello all!

Purely as a spectator I have been enthralled with the music system in this game.
And now finally I would like to get involved myself.

I know there are stickie threads above but they all seem far out of date.

What plugins, resources etc would I need to just play songs solo on my Dalish Hunter?
