[Cordovan]

Formerly known as Fansite News, and formerly gated by community team access, I've now opened up this forum for anyone to post for a few reasons:

• There's a lot more out there than Fan Sites, especially these days in a world of streamers, bloggers, video makers, musicians, artists, etc running their own thing.
• Discord exists, and players want a place to let others know there is a Discord out there they might be interested in.
• Gating it stopped making sense.

However, this is something that I am doing today to facilitate a specific community need, which is to find a place for a handful of Discord creators to post, so I'm open to listening to your suggestions and making changes to let this forum be what it should be. Have fun!

While It might get spammed with discords but a bit, maybe in a months time streamers might spam it up a little too much too... So sorry this might be a pain to morderate...

Like you said else ware, discord lets you join ALL THE SERVERS!!! So there is no real competition between them. People naturally talk in where they want, or use resources in others.

I dunno if a sticky is possible with just a list of them so it doesn't turn into a bumping war of discords? Plus, each thread may cause unwanted drama we really don't want.


I reached out to the LOTRO reddit a while ago will a similar list. And sorry for speaking semi on behalf of them.

There are a few discords that are not tied to a streamer or kinship that I would like to shout out.

I think this is a good idea. It might be nice to have some "sticky" threads where people can go to see a current list at a glance.

Perhaps a category for specific types of content, YouTube channels, blogs, discords, whatever.

Welcome and yes, this is the place to post this stuff. That said: You should probably just create your own thread for it for now. I like the idea of perhaps using a Sticky thread eventually, but I'd like to see what the actual traffic level of it is first.
