War-steed Colours

Please lower the price of war-steed colours in the LOTRO Store or make them account-bound. You are missing out on potential revenue if they were cheaper.

War-steed colours currently cost 595 LOTRO Points per pack and per character. Most players realize that it's just not a worthwhile use of LOTRO Points, so they decide to wait for a seasonal sale when they're priced at 75% off. It just ends up being an unnecessary inconvenience that's well worth the savings of LOTRO Points.

However, if war-steed colours were less expensive (say at 195 LP) or account-bound, far more players would be interested in spending LOTRO Points on them regardless of whether they're on sale.

I think if you look at sales you'll see that this is not a popular item in the store at current prices.

This topic! Has bugged me for many years, even inspired a bit of resentment. I have so many alts, and over the years I have only bought a steed color package 3 times. It has always been one of my biggest pet peeves. The price for one color as stated is way to high, unless it was account based. Today I refuse to spend on color changes and probably never will again, unless the price is addressed or it changes to an account purchase.
If they actually made the price reasonable like 150 pr 195LP i would probably buy a whole bunch lol.

Same situation for me & casually only 3 packs bought too. This is an atractive item that is surely not selling well cause the price don't feel in proportion to the account restrictions. If you search warsteed colors, at this forums you will find that there are a lot of threads requesting exactly the same, since mounted combat was released by 1st time.
